Watch out for over pricing as I went through this McKinney TX location end of May this last year and found out I was way overcharged for my large beverage I buy several times a week here. I reached out to McDonalds Corporate about it via email but no reply; then called and spoke to corporate O Reilly's owned and a long report was taken but no resolution ever provided over 2 weeks ago. Honestly what ISNT wrong with this establishment? Literally EVERY SINGLE TIME i go here on my break i know im going to have to pull around because they can't get a simple order correct. Tonight i got a McChicken with cheese, bacon, and tomatoes added onto my meal w a large sweet Tea/Lemonade. (Ive been drinking Arnold Palmers ever since i could remember, so i can look at it and tell if it's not mixed with lemonade) I get to the second window waiting on my food i spot the drink, ask if it's half and half w sweet tea and lemonade she says yes (i know it's not, but taste it anyway) told her it was just sweet tea and asked to please get the one i asked for. They pull me around and then 5 minutes later they bring out THE EXACT drink i just asked to be fixed. I asked if it was mixed and she said yes and then waited there for me to taste it to see if it was correct, it wasn't. I ask again for what i ordered. Then the manager comes out and just brings me a Large lemonade lol. At this point i say whatever and proceed to go back to work which is literally less than 5 minutes down the road. I get there and about to eat my food and notice a PLAIN McChicken w 3 huge tomatoes just slapped on there. I instantly drive back up there and explain and show them it's incorrect. And then i also asked for a new Fry since mine have gotten cold at this point. They take the old sandwhich i just returned and just slapped a shit ton of mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles on it. Ok, so maybe they don't deserve quite 5 stars. But it helps balance out my last couple reviews. After troubles at a different location my wife and I thought there was nothing to lose giving this location another try. They have actually got a lot better. The people are still a little serious in nature but not rude. The managers are pretty friendly though. We use this location for breakfast more than anything. Their burritos are usually a little more fuller than other locations and fresher tasting. The rest of the food is what you'd expect from a decent McDonald's and the wait times have been average at worst, and super quick occasionally. My go to location for now. read more
