[[HIGHLIGHT]]super cute concept![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really want to get into plants but all of the plants they had on display i felt like had some type of discoloration or flaw, so i held off from buying. I did go on a weekday so maybe they had a weekend rush, and didn't get a chance to restock. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute store[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Blueberry seasonal matcha

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The area is very cute, when I walked in I was amazed at all of the plants.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a slight off smell, like there was moisture damage inside of the building.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The plants were beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was friendly. My rating is genuinely rating the beverage - it was honestly terrible. The flavor is mostly for funsies. (Blueberry matcha w earl grey sea salt, undertones of ube) It didn't feel balanced and the earl grey was distracting from the matcha. The blueberry was just ok - and the ube felt unnecessary. Also, not a fan of the milk they use (califa) it was milk heavy. I did not look forward to going back for more sips but at $7-8 you just drink it. I tried my friends blueberry pie coffee (also seasonal) nothing about the coffee made me feel like it was third wave. It just felt like someone experimenting at home. I would come back here because of the awesome things they had for sale and plants. It's a unique place and still worth a visit to see inside.

Honestly I have been here over 5 times in the last two weeks. Prior to that I had only been in once or twice before they expanded. I wasn't a real fan before but I saw they expanded and wanted to give it another shot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is still super cute inside and now more spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The coffee is delicious and there are two baristas there that are just so friendly every time. I love that they have a shop within the coffee shop. Definitely one of my new spots; glad Downtown is upping their coffee game.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is the CUTEST plant store/coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm in search of the best matcha so I had to try it out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once you walk in, you feel an instant sense of fresh air which you have the plants to thank.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pastry options were plentiful. I went with a cinnamon roll and my toddler wanted the chocolate donut which happened to be gluten free. Both were tasty. I had the cinnamon roll warmed up and would suggest you to do the same if you order it. It helps the icing to get warm so that you can spread it around. I ordered the strawberry matcha which they call very berry. The let me know they make all the syrups in house which I appreciate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is plenty of seating so that you can enjoy your pastry and drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband had an iced coffee with pistachio syrup and he liked it as well. I will be back here for the matcha and vibes!

Strawberry matcha and blueberry pie latte (seasonal)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really cute spot. I already love a plant shop/cafe concept so I was biased walking in (or that's what drew me in, you decide), but I was surprised at how much space there was inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great space to sit and work/chat/shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've also heard that they have some hosting space in the back(?) which I didn't get to see but would like to go back and witness.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I popped in on a Saturday morning after the McKinney farmers market. The seasonal blueberry latte was good (a little too sweet for me but I'll ask for half sweet next time). I love a shop that gets creative with flavors for the season and a blueberry latte can be so nostalgic oddly enough. My friend's strawberry matcha was great too! They mixed it before serving just fyi. If I could offer a single improvement it would be to add an espresso tonic to the menu! Will be back!

update: this place has grown SO much since it first opened about 4 years ago or so. [[HIGHLIGHT]]now they've expanded to an even larger setup with more plants and seating options and it is SO cozy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] their drink menu has also grown as well and now includes some legendary favorites with matchas and other teas in addition to their traditional coffees! not only is the coffee bar amazing with well-crafted seasonal flavors but the stock of plants has even more variety now! the staff is so kind and knowledgable as always and helped me pick the perfect plant. plus, they have even more additions to their plant accessories and arts sales as well so check that out while you're there!

I needed a gift for someone who has everything and thought of this place. They have a good stock of often hard to find small plants. Very healthy and priced right. Go!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute plant and coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wandered in and browsed the healthy monstera varieties.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The coffee is really good too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Check out the coffee bar in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

So fun and unique! Loved shopping the plants! Delicious drinks and [[HIGHLIGHT]]wonderful atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Super kind stuff.

Disclaimer: this was first posted on google maps around 2 years ago! I just made a yelp account! My apologies if there has been changes since then! This was a ways drive for me but it was totally worth it for the vibe that I was going for! Service was really nice and I didn't feel like I was being judged for not knowing what i wanted. I got one of their seasonal drinks (you can do either matcha or latte) and it was okay. I do wish that the flavoring (I believe it was almond) was a tad bit stronger. I'm sure they can make that happen if you requested it. It was my first time there so I didn't know but I'll be sure to ask them next time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The design of the store was so cute and green. All the plants and miscellaneous things that they sell are wonderful to look at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So those of you with a green thumb should take a look! [[HIGHLIGHT]]To those of you with really bad allergies to greenery like me, you should take something for it. I took Zyrtec in the morning and my allergies were still popping off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It could just be me but better be safe than sorry!

Great for coffee and to chill! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outlets are available at each table along the wall but the music is a bit too loud if you plan to work and need to take calls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would come back for catching up with friends and coffee.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super fun spot! My friend and I enjoyed the beautiful views in here![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks were fantastic and so was the pop tart! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything in there was so refreshing and cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Iced Lavender Mocha

Best coffee shop in Downtown McKinney. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great vibes, great people, and great coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My go-to is an iced lavender mocha, but they have so many fun and tasty options, including seasonal drinks. Their pastries are delightful, especially the Earl Grey Loaf. You can also purchase their homemade syrups to have at home.

Good coffee and lots of vegetation to get inspired! I just wish they had more/better homey sweets and pastries to go with the coffee.

The consult was good and we were provided an offer for a couple of services, thoroughly clear an existing flowerbed, remove a tree and soil injections for 2 other trees. Initial offer seemed rather high but then the consultant called the general manager to get us a discount given we would be coming back to replace plants in the flower bed. I had to call and remind the consultant 2 times to schedule the soil injection service as they never reached out to me. The tree removal was okay but they didn't remove the entire stump even though we told them we were going to put grass over the area. Then we made an appointment to meet our consultant to design our new flowerbed bed. First appointment he wasn't there so we spent time with the GM and we discussed what we liked and didn't like which she would relay to our consultant. So a week later we went again to meet the consultant and he had NOT been informed of anything we discussed with the GM, so we had to go through the whole process again. Ultimately picked out the plants and got a design layout. Agreed a date and time for them to come and plant it all. Long story short, some of the plants were damaged (a very expensive whale tail agave) and some of what we chose in the nursery turned out to be shorter when they were delivered. Oh and again we were told we got a manager special pricing....hhmm should have been a warning sign. After the work they ask for feedback where I made all issues known and I was told someone would be reaching out. That was 2 months ago!! I even texted the same number again. No response. Basically, whilst the products and free stuff they give you is all great. There is a lot to be said about the aftercare and customer service. I will definitely be thinking twice before spending my hard earned money at Moon Nurseries.

There's a huge selection of trees, plants, shrubs, herbs, flowers and everything in between. I didn't realize that they offer fresh cut Christmas trees during the winter season. But I would definitely like to come back to see and smell them. They also sell fertilizer, sprinkler system spare parts, grills, and patio furniture and accessories. It's a haven for anyone working on their yard or outdoor space. There's even dog treats and toys, wind chimes, bird houses and feeders! As wonderful as this place is, you wouldn't expect such fair prices. But here they are, competitively reasonable. As an indoor plant person, I appreciate the various sizes of neem oil and fair pricing! Lastly, and most importantly, we weren't sure if we could bring our pup in but there were tons of large dogs on leash! So glad this place is so close to home! We'll be back soon.

Upon entering their cafe/ gift shop, I noticed they had a Stranger Things Theme. There were a few families that were enjoying the large sitting area with couches, tables and table games. They really spent a long time crafting this theme and I really enjoyed all of the themed touches. I ordered a "Plain Jane" ice coffee which was delicious. You could see small pieces of graham cracker that added a good flavor. They had some baked goods available in addition to soda. They also offered a coffee flight which is something I would order if I was spending time with friends. There was one barista which did a great job keeping up with orders and communicating with customers. Next, I ventured out to check out their event space. They had an indoor event space with a shaded outdoor space right next to it with a bar area as well. After checking out the event space I looked at their flower, herbs and small cactuses outside the cafe. They had a small selection but good quality plants for a modest price. I also checked out their selection of pots and various plants outside the event space in additional to looking at their selection of trees and shrubs. Honey Locust would be a place I'd come to get coffee with friends as well as watch for any events they might have with the community. The theming they do in the coffee shop is fun and definitely worth coming to check out with your friends or family. All age levels would enjoy time here.
