I really have noticed a change in this McDonalds lately. They used to always have my order correct, but the last three times i've went, my order was wrong :( I get that mistakes happen but it's been pretty consistently bad. This is a horrible McDonald's. I have stayed away from this location because it has to be one of the worst in the Spokane area due to really bad customer service, being out of things, cold food and so many times their computers not working, so I stopped going here. Last night 1/24/22 I was tired and since thus location is on my way home I thought I would try again MISTAKE. I used my mobile app which I use at other locations all the time. I placed my order, choose curbside and designated I was in spot 5... I got my order confirmation and it said see you in #5. I waited over 10 minutes and nothing so I went it to inquire where my order was. The rude staff member said she didn't have my order as curbside and I must have gotten the response to come into the store. I told her no it says right there on my phone see you in spot 5. She said are you Jessica and I said yes... ohhh your order didn't come up on my screen. Remember she just told me the order said come inside so her excuse changed. She said she will reenter the order and because they were busy could be a little while. After already waiting over 15 minutes and her poor attitude and total lack of actually caring I askd that my order be canceled. Her response was because it is a mobile order she couldn't do that. I was mad and told her she better figure it out because I would be contacting the Corp office to place a complaint. We were running around doing errands and got hungry, noticed McDonald's is running their Buy one Mcdouble, Mcchicken sandwich, 10 piece chicken nuggets or small fries and get another of the same item for a dollar deal. The inside was clean and pleasant along with a courteous staff made this a nice quick stop for lunch. read more

Day time is great, everything in place. Night shift needs to get their shit together. The second I see that dry purple hair, I instantly wonder how many times I'll have to come back that night. I get it. I work night shift in fast food too. It sucks to have customers at night when all you want to do is finish cleaning and close up. But guess what. You're still open SO DO YOUR FUCKING JOB. Worst service and worst food in Spokane. This was absolutely an unbelievably bad experience. I don't remember ever having such a bad customer experience or poorly cooked food in all of Spokane. The manager really had no clue what was going on with her store and it's clear that her employees weren't aware either. Regular goofs on orders is normal for McDonalds, right? We all know that, but this store never fails to mix up or screw up orders. The last straw was when I had ordered two McChickens... and they forgot the chicken - on both sandwiches. So what I got were four damp, soggy pieces of bread with chopped lettuce and an uneven smear of mayo. That's all. Okay, no big deal I guess? I take it back to the store and wait for ten minutes to even talk to anyone. When someone finally notices that I'm standing at the counter and asked if I've been helped, I asked if I was on camera and if I was being punked, and asked for two new McChickens with the chicken. The manager lost her mind and started shouting at the employees that "UNTIL WE GET ORDERS RIGHT NO MORE TAKING ORDERS! STOP TAKING ORDERS!" - so apparently this was just a thing that was happening regularly that day. While waiting +15 minutes to get the replacement sandwiches I saw one older lady come in, wait 5 minutes to be noticed by staff, and when one of the staff finally noticed her he told her that they aren't taking orders. She corrected the young man and said she had already ordered online. He asked for her confirmation code - she had to go back out to her car. All the while the manager continued to shout at employees, sending two home for not doing things right. The old lady came back in with her confirmation number, the same guy that helped her earlier told her "Uhhh, I'm locked out of the online thing. I can't check your online order. You can, uh, order again, if you'd like?" and the manager shouted at him: "NO MORE ORDERS". The poor old lady muttered something under her breath and stormed off. This is a rather unreal level of failure of the local manager to control the situation and to train her staff. This McDonalds has always been bad, but this is enough to keep me from ever going back to McDonalds. Wow. read more

The chocolate shakes are nice. Everything else is rather hit or miss. I've also had straws forgotten in delivery orders, and forgetting things all the time. This morning while going through the drive through, we tried to use the mcdonalds app to get one of the sandwiches free and the lady at the window said it went through and gave us the total, we paid with cash, got our food and left. When we counted the change and looked at the receipt, she had charged us for everything. She told us the "after discount" price and charged us full cost. McDonalds needs to figure out their app and also train employees not to lie to customers. read more

I have been frequenting this particular McDonald's restaurant in Mead WA for a little over 2 years.. now this is not my closest MickyDs but it is directly in route on my trips to & from Spokane a few times each week & quite honestly it is my favorite of all the surrounding MickyDs of which I frequent.. I have had nothing but exemplary cheerful service & product from this establishment.. the staff, adult & teen alike have always been extremely professional, courteous & prompt with the service.. I actually think that this McDonald's should be put forth as an example for all of the other McDonald's in & around the Spokane area simply because they do such a good job in putting out some quality hot food.. Ordered a small coffee in the drive thru. After I drank it I realized it had a weird piece of plastic or something like that in the bottom of the cup. I called and spoke to the supervisor who confirmed it was 'the rubber from the coffee filter' as there was a piece missing. He said to stop by next time and he would give me a small coffee but "that's about all I can offer." Wow. read more

I wish I could give this place a 0 I ordered the 2 cheeseburger meal no onions large fries and soda in the drive through. I get home take a bit of my burger and there's NO PATTY!!!! In either of my burgers!!!! How do you miss something so essential as putting a patty on a cheeseburger?! I drove all the way back ask for the manager show her my issue and what does she do? I have honestly never been to a McDonald's that's disappointed me yet however, this location needs new management because their lack of caring really shows not only in the food you receive but their customer service as well!!! I ordered a double cheeseburger and my son got 2 mcchickens. My hamburger patties had 2 very hard, burnt pieces within the patty that I had to remove because if I would have proceeded to eat it, my tooth would have broke. Then, within this same order, my son found a red hair inside his mcchickens sandwich so he didn't even finish eating either mcchicken. What a waste and a total disappointment. Sadly, this isn't the first crappy experience we have had at this location so needless to say....my family, nor any of my other family members or friends or any other people I know will be coming to this McDonalds. They really need to take more pride in their jobs. :( Normally I don't do reviews but this is one time too many that I haven't complained about problems we have had. I get really bad customer service from the managers during rushes. I have seen the male manager (I believe his name is Joe) throwing stuff around and yelling and cussing at people. If you can't handle the stress, you need a different job. It's not OK to be so disrespectful to your employees. Personally, I think this location needs shut down or needs a new manager.
