I visit this store on occasion, usually when I'm pushed for time. Staff is always cheerful. Stopped there this past Tuesday around 5:30. Not busy at all- lot nearly empty, 1 car ahead of me in the drive through. Ordered via the app, which I nearly always do. Gave my code, told to pull up. Order not ready! Told to pull ahead and wait. Waited for roughly 7 minutes. Car behind me received their order and left. Finally kid came out with someone else's order which i declined. Waited some more. Finally he comes out with what a quick visual check looked like mine. Get back to the office only to discover, nope it was screwed up to. Send off an email to customer "service ". As of this evening, crickets. What is going on with the management of this store? I wish I could say this is the first time this has happened but I'd be lying. read more

best mcdonald's in town, people do not give fast food places any credit or good reviews whatsoever because they don't expect anything from them, even if they had great service generally. this place is efficient and gets stuff right and it is clean inside the restaurant. i've heard multiple other people say this was the best mcdonald's in town. i think this place deserves a good review. read more

I have to give a shout out to this McDonald's. My family and I visit this McDonald's several times a week. The service is always super quick and our orders are always correct!!! This is a very difficult task at such a busy restaurant, but it's impressive to me how efficient the service is here!! Tbh this McDonald's use to be like literally terrible, it still can be sometimes but like idk man drive thru has been pretty solid. I wouldn't recommend going inside because they are usually pretty focused on drive thru. Last time I went I went in and dined, it took about 10 minutes to get our food vs 3 minutes in the drive thru. They have been getting the orders right which use to the be the problem but it's been pretty good. read more

Have you ever watched paint dry? That's how it feels while you wait for your order to be taken when you go in. I can say that I will try and avoid going in at all costs. The drive-thru is much faster but, you still have to worry about missing a straw for your drink or getting a Big Mac when you ordered nuggets. These may seem like small issues but, I can say I waited a good 10 minutes until my order was taken. When I gave them cash, They struggled to count my change. I wasn't upset until it took another 5 minutes for them to ask for help from another worker. When I finally received my change back I went and found a table, as easy as it was because no one would be dumb enough to wait 20 minutes for some McDonalds. When I finally sat down I realized I needed mayo so I went up and asked a worker like I normally do. The worker said they didn't have mayo. I was surprised with the response because I (my fat self) go there more than enough to know they have mayo. Obviously, this was a new worker so I asked another one and They brought it right out to me. After all this, I finally got my food. Thinking nothing else could go wrong, I didn't have a straw, I went to get one from the dispenser and it was empty. So being the annoying customer, I asked for a straw. The worker pointed at the empty dispenser and said "They are over there". I replied back "It's empty". The worker realized I was right, grabbed me a straw, and refilled the dispenser. Another time I had a bad experience was when I ordered a Dr. Pepper and a McFlurry. The problem with this wasn't speed but the customer service. When I pulled to the first window I wasn't greeted with a hello or anything. The worker just took out her hand for my card. Once I was given my card back I pulled to the second window. This worker didn't greet me as well, and when I received my half-filled Dr. Pepper that had no Ice I wasn't happy. I asked the workers to add some more ice and Soda but they just laughed. When I received my McFlurry it was also half full and had no spoon. I had to go inside for the spoon and ice. This unsurprisingly took 10 minutes. The workers were not only lazy but were rude. I heard them complaining and talking about other customers. This was very uncomfortable as I knew they were going to talk about me once I left. Although I did nothing wrong. I wouldn't recommend the McDonald's on Wooster Pike unless you are absolutely starving and have your whole life to give up while you wait for some soggy fries and a strawless drink. With this being said I can say that this can be fixed with better management and training. I have some experience working in the fast food industry. When I worked at Culver's we treated all customers like family. We greeted them and even gave them free food when we messed up. It didn't matter who was actually wrong, the customer was always right. I can say if Mcdonalds modeled their staff to be like that it would be much more enjoyable for everyone. read more

Y'all want 16 bucks an hour but you can't figure out between the two of you that we told that you forgot our drinks and we finally had to go in to get them after waiting patiently where you pulled us up to. Slowest fast food EVER! One breakfast sandwich and a Hashbrown takes 20 minutes. Terrible.

This place is the worst fast food in Medina, and apparently it doesn't bother them as they have no competition on this end of town so residents put up with the pathetic service at this location as there is nothing else with a drive thru without driving to the other side of town. This was my hot fudge sundae handed to me by the manager. Once we got to the window, we were informed that they were out of hot fudge and needed to refill it, so it would be a minute. Apparently, they don't have a microwave and the fudge dispenser isn't automatic because this cold blob of fudge is what was atop my ice cream. read more

I live in SE Florida where the service at McDonalds is mediocre at best, and the employees are usually incompetent, resentful and entitled. So, coming here once a year when I visit Medina for Christmas is actually a treat. Not because it's McDonalds, but because the employees are soooo nice, friendly, and happy. I'm just here getting an iced coffee, and I witness the manager following all Covid protocol, taking employee temp before letting them work, etc. while being genuinely NICE to them, and I hear the employees coming in to work greeting each other as if they are friends and again happy to be there. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! If I could I would give 0 stars The managers dont give a crap about the customers first off. Went to this location for lunch on my lunch break. Long lines and drive thru wrapped onto the street (I understand its lunch time on a Saturday) I waited over 15 mins for my food. I sit down and my sandwich is not correct. I asked for no onion and I actually got extra onions. I go up and stated it was messed up. The manager then tell the girl to re ring it. Now I sat and waited 20 mins more for a burger that they messed up!!!!!!!!!! Has messed up on our border every single time we have gone here but today was the worst I paid $66 and never even got what I ordered we were still owed a Big Mac and a side of Big Mac sauce! One time I ordered a $15 bundle and never even got any of the fries and when I went inside to get the fries they still missed one of the fries! I would not recommend going here! read more

Went through the drive-thru at 8am on a Sunday, nobody was in line. Ordered several sandwiches, hash browns, and order of hot cakes for my family. Paid. Got to the hand off window and was told there was a wait. 20 minutes... nobody behind me. another single car waiting in the hold line. Watch as I sat there and the employee only brought out a single coffee. Finally as mentioned 20 minutes later my food was brought to me cold, no condiments as requested. ... I am so tired of this location I just left. I refuse to come back this location until either the business gets a new owner who cares or new management who has experience managing people. Unfortunately the issues are just not in the drive-thru but extend well into the lobby. Something has to give, as a previous employee of this company many years ago, this is a sad reflection of what glory it used to be. No wonder other company are always rated above McDonalds and they continue to decline, due to utter disregard to customers. My family and I have been to this location many times before, to find the pop station/ condiments counter in disarray and mess. Found a piece of plastic in my chicken nugget. I know it's not the responsibility of anyone at that store but you have to stand behind your product. So, after 2 phone calls we were told we could come in anytime and they would "replace our entire order". A couple days go by and my wife and I go in. We go up to the counter and quietly say we need to see the manager. I didn't want to make a scene or anything. Manager comes over and we tell him why we are here. He goes in the back, comes back with a form of some sort and tells us we have to wait for another manager to relieve him. And wait we did. Unfortunately we had much more to do on my day off and we ended up leaving. I would hate to see how they handle an emergency. Sorry. Can't grab the first aid kit or call an ambulance until someone relieves me. Anyway. My point in this whole rant...poor customer service. As a mechanic, when I have an upset customer I am expected to drop everything IMMEDIATELY and take care of the situation. It's called turning a negative into a positive.
