Chicken Supreme Fries - chicken with queso, diced chicken, sour cream & Pico de gallo. Amazing

This is one of my favorite fast food restaurants. Once you eat here you'll never eat Taco Bell ever again. The owner is very nice, very sweet. This is one of the dishes I get every time, chicken supreme fries. You'll never find it anywhere else because her mother used to make it for her when she was a child. This place is less than 2 miles from where I live and I go as often as I can. Authentic Mexican food at a good price

The cutest, quaintest little spot i found in Medina ended up being a diamond in the rough. Located just outside of medina square, Emis taqueria boasts authentic mexican food and boy does it deliver. Its strictly drive-thru OR in and out. There is absolutely no seating inside whatsoever. there honestly isnt enough room in the little lobby area for more than 4 people to fit comfortably so be sure you either go on a sunny day to sit on their picnic tables or you utilize the drive thru. Ordering was a breeze, menu was cute and simple, right down to the point. Prices were appropriate for the ask and our food was out in less than 10 minutes. Talk about service. Now on to the food, because lets face it if you've read this far thats why you're here. I got the street tacos, because in my experience if you screw up a street taco the rest is just whatever at this point. Carne Asada, Pastor, Chicken and Chorizo were the choices i went with. The easiest of the tacos imo. Each came perfectly seasoned and portioned, the shells were fresh and delicious. Meat was tender, cooked perfect and enough on the taco to make the $4 worth your while. I also got the chips and salsa, some rice and i couldnt resist a nice cup of Horchata (21 or older ) but again it was ALL so worth it. I was full after my second taco but give up? No I was committed. I took a bite of each of my tacos and my favorite by far was the asada. The rice was moist but not too sticky, tasty and filling. And the horchata?! ARRRIBAAAA. Seriously it looks like a dive passing by, i honestly was confused by the outside of the building, but the food was well worth it. If you're in Medina near the square, and you're not looking for a big franchise spot this is the go to!

Special rose from Emi's for Mother's Day.

My family LOVED Emi's!!! We all downed our meal as if we hadn't eaten in a month, including a chicken quesadilla, chicken fajita quesadilla, pineapple salad, beef enchilada and a couple other items. They even gorges on the rice & beans. We also enjoyed a brief visit by Emi (?). She wanted to make sure we were enjoying everything and surprised me with a lovely Mother's Day rose. What a great touch! Just know that there is NO dine in option. You can do the drive thru, call ahead takeout or enjoy some sun at a picnic table.

Stopped by Emi's for lunch recently and ordered some tacos. I didn't use the drive thru because I wanted to snap a couple photos. Upon arrival, I saw that they were cooking some meat for tacos and the menu was clearly posted on the wall. I was greeted while I was perusing the menu and I asked what their most popular items were. The lady said that the carne asada and al pastor street tacos were the most popular items. So I ordered one of each plus a chicken taco. My tacos were ready in just a few minutes and I took them home with me. My favorite taco was probably the al pasto followed by the chicken. The carne asada was okay too, but not as good as the other ones. These are some legit tacos! I will be back to taste other menu items soon!

My husband and I watched a documentary on tacos and of course, had a wild craving for them after. We stopped by and ordered the al pastor tacos, carne asada tacos, and the chicken tacos, all of which were very tasty. My favorite was the al pastor taco! We also tried the beans and rice sides, which were really good, but definitely ordering just tacos next time. It's a little gem, hidden in the area and definitely worth trying! It's only take out drive thru, just a heads up.

The staff couldn't have been more welcoming. I originally came for the Mexican street corn and also ended up trying the tortilla soup. It had just the right amount of spice and was loaded with shredded chicken. I also ordered the Tinga chicken tacos, which came in as 3 soft tacos. Great portion-size. We asked if they had any homemade hot sauce in the back, and they brought some out--great heat, great flavor. We got homemade guacamole, which tasted incredibly fresh, like something you'd get in Mexico. My lunch partner had the Barbados Street Tacos, and there wasn't a single thing either of us could complain about. Will return.

Not good! My other half had the chicken burrito bowl and said it was very good, so there's that. The margarita flight was good as well. Based on appearances this place should knock it out of the park. It's got a long way to go, IMO.

I've been 4 times and ordered different things each visit and I have no complaints. The service is efficient, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is gorgeous on the inside, once you enter you feel like you're about to have a hefty bill once you check out, but surprisingly, you don't. My husband and I make a point to go during their slow period, because this place will have a wait for dinner. The flavor of the food is spot on, not too spicy but thank goodness not too bland, as I've had my share of bland Mexican food living in NEO. I highly recommend this place if ever in Medina, you won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately, it was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. Three out of four entrees came out wrong. One dish had sour cream on it despite specifically requesting it without. When it was sent back, they brought it out cold -- and after flipping it over, it was obvious the sour cream had simply been scraped off and the food flipped over to hide it. Honestly unbelievable. What made it worse was the complete lack of accountability. No apology from the waiter or staff at any point. Instead, they defended the incorrect orders and even attempted to charge us for the meal we sent back because it was wrong and untouched. Really disappointing because we genuinely loved this place for delivery. We expected a great dine-in experience and left feeling frustrated and grossed out. Sadly, we won't be back. Decor was nice.
