This is the worst mcdonalds ever. My mom and I drove through, one of only two cars there the entire time. All we wanted was one 6 piece chicken nugget and a HOT mocha. The lady then asked "a mocha frapp?" And we said "no. A hot mocha." What we received was 3 boxes of 4 piece nuggets (and each container had 6 nuggets in them) and a MOCHA FRAPP. Also they dropped the debit card and we had to maneuver the car to get out and pick it up off the ground. 5 minutes took 20. read more

The most rude fast food experience ever! Not only are the staff rude to you but so is the manager. To their credit their rudeness is consistent no matter the day of the week or the time of the day. Always Unprofessional - Why are the people at this McDonald's in Mequon, WI consistently so irritable? The only McDonald's in this town; and I have to put up with abuse from unfriendly staff before I can get a simple cup of coffee. This morning not only did they demonstrate a complete lack of friendliness but they actually combined it with obvious "nonsmiling" glaring eye contact. Definitely no smiles from them, ever. I've learned to not even expect a, "thank you" or a, "have a nice day" or a, "good morning - how may I help you?" This morning after ordering, instead of "thank you," I got, a no eye contact, "u-huh." And it's even worse going through the drive thru. If you want a perfectly lovely day to turn sour, I recommend going to the McDonald's on the corner of Mequon and Port Washington road. (Why doesn't Mcdonald's close this one, and any others this guy owns? He obviously doesn't care about his patrons. Waited in both drive-thru lines for five minutes and thought they were actually broken when no one took my order. I went to the window and politely asked if I could place an order. They were annoyed but took it. Then, I waited an additional 15 minutes for the food in my car, went in because no one came out and then the employee proceeded to yell at me for not being patient. I have never experienced a more disappointing experience than going to this Mcdonald's on September 30th at 1:30 pm. Order my food was a chore as the employee who was working the drive-through would get my order in correctly (4 drinks and a large fry? c'mon now its not that difficult) and when I had asked him, "What are the current Happy Meal toys do you have?", he responded with, "Uhhhh Not sure" and did not even attempt to check. I pull up to pay, and did he utter a word? Asking me if I wanted my receipt or even a Hello? NOPE! Then I pull up to get the drinks, the employee hands me 2 STRAWS ONLY, funny, I thought I ordered 4 drinks. She then hands me the bag with the fries, doesn't even ACKNOWLEDGE ME and did not utter a DAMN WORD! Looking inside, there were employees leaning on the monitors for ordering, standing around, and talking in very loud voices on how they're not going to do some task that they were asked to do. Before I drove off, I told the employee,"HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!" Never, ever, am I going back to this McDonald's until 1) They get some Customer Service Training 2) Hold Employees Accountable when they are rude. Today I was driving past some fast food restaurants and I decided to go with a classic, Mcdonald's. I rolled up to the drive through microphone and patiently waited to order. at this mcdonald's there are 2 microphones. I watched myself get skipped and then someone came on the mic and said, "just one moment". Shortly after the person next to me was asked for the order before me... for the third time. So I then decided to roll around to the window and place my order that way. I was greeted by a lovely lady who was some what new at her job so she referred me to someone else. This time I was greeted by someone who wasn't so pleasant. In fact I felt violated by this women. she verbally attacked me for attempting to order from the window, even though I was only trying to explain my struggles before hand. She told me I had to go back around to get food. She then offered to call the police because I told her I wasn't very confident that my order would be taken if I went back around. All in all I'm disappointed and dissatisfied with a mcdonald's location I used to trust and Love. I hope this sheds some light on the abundant issues with the Mcodnalds located in mequon. read more

Stopped here for food during a drive from Milwaukee headed North. Pulling up at their drive-thru service, you find yourself in the dual lane set up. I was the only one-in line when the person politely greeted me. I then asked if it was possible for her to please give me a few seconds - for I was browsing through their menu. Only 5 - 6 seconds later, the lady asked if I had made up my mind. I found this kind of rude, especially since I was the only one in line. Where to start: The cashier didn't know what Apple Pay was even though the sticker was less than a foot from her face. The girl that gave me my food looked angry, didn't smile, say hello but basically just handed me my food. The soda was leaking out the top and sides, I had to tell her to stop and get me a napkin, she just handed me a stack and I had to clean off the soda (she should have took it back inside the window and did this as customer service). THEN after driving off, guess what? NO NAPKINS in the bag. NO receipt either. 3/4 of the fries were all about 1 inch long and the "cheese slice" on the sandwich was literally off and laying in the box. Called the manager and she didn't say; sorry but said "we'll just replace the food". Didn't offer to send anything in the mail (I have had one other bad experience with McDonalds in the past and they bent over backwards to fix it.....NOT THIS TIME). You want me to drive back to get compensation? Forget it, you should have got my address and sent me something, said you were sorry, took this as a lesson to better train your employees. I realize that some of this is petty or small but in total it was a bad experience and I want to let the owner of this McDonalds know that he will never see me in that restaurant again. read more

I stoped going here late night about 1/2 a year ago after multiple problems. I since tried it today 1/2 a year later during the day. Still numerous problems I ordered 1 mc chicken and 1 McDouble. I got 1 chicken with 2 tip buns there was maybe 10 pieces of lettuce very little and the mayo was all over the top part of the bun making it impossible to eat. When I opens up the mc double there was only 1 patty . When asked for a receipt they said they were out of paper. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

After waiting for 10 minutes at the drive thru I pulled up to the window, knocked a few times and then proceeded to honk my horn. Yet no one in sight. This location (Port and Mequon Roads) used to be my go to for a Big Mac (or other menu item) attack, but not anymore. Because of a recent power and internet outage, this became a regular stop for me for the past 8 days. Service was terrible...no matter WHAT time of day I went. I would be the ONLY person in line, and you would still wait 4-5 minutes at the counter to even be acknowledged. One time (shortly after 5AM), I was told that the ice machine was "broken" and that the maintenance guy was off and it couldn't be repaired. Well, 5 minutes later, someone came and dumped a bucket of ice into the machine...and low and behold, it was magically fixed!!! Why that couldn't have been done earlier, I don't understand. Another time (at 8PM at night) I was the only person in the dining room for almost 20 minutes, and no-one was cleaning--but you could hear loud laughter coming from the kitchen areas. French fries, napkins, and other garbage littered not only the dining room, but the kitchen area (where employees were walking in them). Although this place was remodeled in the past year, the real shocker was that you had to use porta potties in the parking lot for restrooms, which stank to high heaven and seemed to be leaking. read more

After many years of not eating McDonald's my son began wanting a happy meal and so I've been back to this location a few times since returning and I must say that the service each time was crap. Average wait time to order is several minutes and the wait for the food is much longer. The food is cold and gross by the time you get it. I've had employees not greet me or even look at me in the drive thru. They just crack the door and stick their hand out for payment. I've had an employee not put the lid on the drink all the way, looked at it, didn't fix it and handed it to me which spilled all over. When I asked for some napkins he just tossed them at me and closed the window without saying anything. The owners should be ashamed of this location and the decline of service.
