Greek Chicken Pita

Food is very decent all around. Been here multiple times and it will do if nothing else is open (like on a Monday). But the food always takes forever to come out, and if you eat in the dining room instead of the bar the service is super slow. I got the Greek Pita with side of veggies this time and tried some of the jambalaya as well. The Greek pita really didn't have any flavor to it, however the green beans were actually pretty solid. Jambalaya was decent also. Nothing remarkable about this place

Skillet Fajitas

I honestly was a bit disappointed with my visit here. As a long time fan of the chancery, I was bummed with all their closer locations to me closing. Since I was in Mequon, I decided I had to stop here for dinner. I've always loved the Zak's three cheese macaroni. I may have overhyped it because I felt like it was just ok. Nowhere near as amazing as I remembered. My boyfriend got the skillet fajitas. He said they were ok but likely would not get them again. Service was fine. Just felt underwhelmed when we left.

Turkey wrap and sweet potato waffle fries

Okay so I am a soup girl, I liked the chicken dumpling from this place. It had chunks of dumplings that where delicious. I recommend for sure. The Turkey wrap was good as well with a side of sweet potato fries. The place was pretty chill as well it looks like it get pretty busy during the evenings. Also pretty clean restrooms. And a lot of parking also available.

Latin rolls

Popular spot on a Friday night. They have an all you can eat fish fry but we didn't go for it. Instead, we ordered a bunch of random appetizers. Our favorite were the Latin rolls and the artichoke dip. The artichoke dip was sooo garlicky and the bread it was served with was softer than a pillow. Lots of people don't know that there is still a chancery in the area. They're missing out!

Large meat too big for my gullet

While dining at Chancery in Mequon, I found the steak on my salad to be disappointingly tough and difficult to chew. Additionally, the portion size was larger than expected, making it awkward to eat without cutting it down. It would have been preferable if the steak had been placed on my friend's sandwich instead, as my dining experience was negatively impacted by the toughness of the meat." Henceforth I like deep throating meat but i shouldn't have to pay to do so

$15 French dip

Just recently ate here last weekend and boy has this restaurant fell off. The service was minimal. The food was beyond under par. I mean with so many options to eat now days either your putting out amazing food or what's the point. I don't like just putting negatives in reviews and this was a place where once people would go for a nice dinner for prom and such. Now it's struggling to reach the level as an Applebees.

A good spot for families where you don't feel too noisy or disruptive. Young friendly staff and a great Buffalo chicken wrap!

Kitchen closed early. 20 minutes before 9 o'clock, supposed to closing time, on a Wednesday night and they would not serve us.

Great food but long wait times. Even with empty tables, you will still need to wait a while to get seated.

We had 3 different people come to our table to see how things were going which was really nice. The owner even stayed a while to talk about the business and his other restaurants in the area. Started with a Scotch Egg and I had the Cottage Pie, my wife had the Fish and Chips and we finished with the Sticky Pudding. Everything tasted great. Have to say, the ordering by phone was a little challenging, but we figured it out. Great addition to the Public Market. Definitely will be back.

This restaurant sits in the Mequon Public Market and legitimately has better fried fish (and chips) than St. Paul Fish Market just across the parking lot, as crazy as that sounds. The batter is light but crispy, and there's a generous cut of fish under the relatively "fluffy" exterior and the fries were fresh and awesome. They also have a respectable beer selection, plus some good cocktails on offer. We were acknowledged and never ignored by staff even though there's an option to order everything through a QR code on the table. The manager stopped by a few times to check on us before it got overly busy, which was also nice. I'm excited to come back here and enjoy the patio when it warms up.

Upon approach it gives you a 1800's western vibe as it's along train tracks and appears to be a period correct building. Many flags hang above the front of the building as you walk in. I came to find out someone stole an American flag and Thin Blue Line flag (Law enforcement support) in the recent weeks and that was a shame to hear. There is a fenced in smaller outdoor patio on the east side of the building. As you can imagine 9 non locals walking into a bar at 1130am could be met with stares or with hellos. We received many hellos and the bar staff was prompt to take our orders. A majority of us ordered a Bloody Mary and we're all glad we did. They were amazing with a spotted cow chaser. The space was completely remodeled with a modern western feel. It did not take away from the age of the building. The large horseshoe bar was comfortable and spacious. The owner was very polite and we will surely be back!

I was lucky to run into some neighbors from Brown deer who said they were going to meet at the brick yard. I said you mean the Brick from Tim Wren on Green Bay ave. They said it's new. By the new library, mind you I've been absent for about a year and nine months so giving me directions to a new place that popped up less than a year ago it's not helping so I followed them down to Brown Deer Rd in the old section close to the electric power wires and the oak park bike trail across the street from the Audi dealership to the south side of Brown deer Road. They had a musician on a small stage located inside of a small container box previously used for shipping also re-purposed was the main bar area that had flip up windows all around it that was made with two storage containers stuck together the restrooms are basically a bunch of Porta potty's and conveniently placed throughout the whole area are Handwashing and hand sanitizing stations with probably the strongest alcohol levels I've ever had put on my hands without burning my skin off. Location has plenty of picnic tables lots of open space with access for bikers and community. Music and food rotate. so it's constantly changing. the service on Thursday night was perfect. Sorry for the typos and run on I'm doing this on an iPhone 6. 6/21
