Always clean, not much people dine in. Always got the order right. Sometimes didn't do the send to table service but all the other stores have the same problem. Staff always friendly

It's McDonald's but ordered a McDouble and it was as fresh as McDonald's freshness gets. idk but this location has not been remodeled and their drive thru menu and speaker reminded me of ordering in the 90s. Flashback!!! Staff were friendly for what appeared to be a late night one person crew.

bro i got a cheeseburger and I was missing my bun and it wasn't even in the bag I'm sad and I only got one cheeseburger with no bun

The Oreo McFlurry had the Oreos piled on top. Very frustrating to mix.

Employees inside on their phones. We waited at the drive through for a while and no one helped us. The food was ok but not great. See picture below. Diet Coke was exceptional though.

The ticket clearly says No Mustard No Onions.... there's obviously mustard on this burger and a couple onions floating in there as well.

Burger wise we went with the standard cheeseburger, very well executed. It's a burger, use quality beef, season it well, and then don't mess it up with 7 toppings unless someone asks you to. I'm coming back because I didn't get to try a milkshake, and they looked fantastic. Really cool facility built from an old gas station. Gives off great old school vibes.

It looks and feels like a converted gas station with minimum tables inside, a few games, and a larger outdoor seating area under where the pumps used to be. The experience is largely hands-off but not fast food. There are tablets that customers can place their orders, drinks are in a fridge nearby, and they have a few beers on tap. Everything is made to order so it isn't instant and the prices are more similar to a sit-down restaurant with full service. When the order is ready a number is called and it is in a nondescript, thin paper bag that easily tears. My experience has been very inconsistent here. There have been moments that the burger is the best burger on the Island with it being juicy and savory, every bite being better than the last. There have been times that I question why I even try because the burger is overcooked, unremarkable slab of meat. I can't comment on the service as I have had very little interaction with them. When I calculated how much it cost to have a burger, fries, and wine here plus tip I struggled justifying returning when per meal it broke down to how much I pay at any of the Island's full service restaurants with the exception of two. Interesting concept with inconsistent results.

We were there for a large dinner gathering of 10, and the most impressive part was that all of our meals were served at the same time. Something that's not always easy for restaurants, especially when they're full and they have a large party where folks are ordering all sorts of different things from multiple pizzas to pastas to salads... I ordered the lamb shank which was delicious. The meat was tender, had good flavor, sodium level was balanced, which doesn't always happen with lamb shank that's served with a broth. Pogacha served this over penelne pasta, which was fine and it's one of their signature dishes, I also think it would be really nice also over polenta. My only wish was that there were more vegetables in the broth. Because seasonal vegetables were listed on the menu item, I anticipated there'd be more in the broth than there were. I'd also recommend Pogacha updates the photo on their website, because this is shown over a very different pasta with vegetables over it and less broth. Oh and, I love that Pogacha still serves fresh warm bread right when you sit down. So tasty and such a nice touch. We'll definitely be back soon.

I tried: Light Appetite Salmon Special ($24.99): The salmon had incredible flavor and was buttery soft and flaky, served on a mound of sticky jasmine rice with a delightful sauce spread around it. The pasta was clearly homemade and had a satisfying bite. They do add a 4% "kitchen contribution" tax. Honestly, I would have rated this spot 5 stars, but I consulted my friends who rated it a 4. Very family friendly spot, as there were a lot of families. Located in a plaza in Mercer Island.

I had not eaten yet, had only a mocha earlier, felt ravenous since it was already mid afternoon. So to make it worth the gas, toll, and time spent in traffic heading back west then north, I placed an order for two double cheeseburgers and one each of their chocolate and peanut butter milkshakes. On point, friendly customer service and efficient kitchen crew. Ambience - comfortably dated and clean. I was the only person there. But after using the restroom (note - very clean), there were at least five other people ordering or in line. Like mentioned before, the chocolate milkshake hit the spot driving back to Shoreline. After arriving at home, The Homie devoured his double cheeseburger and peanut butter milkshake. I added additional ketchup onto my burger and did the same. Let me review all of these and give my judgement as my last review I think was in 2011 when I would say was the hay day of Roanoke Inn. Lets start with the atmosphere which hasn't changed a bit over the decades and I love it as-is and please don't do the Crackle Barrel modernization and ruin it; leave as-is. The cocktails seem to not have changed and this is the perfect place to sit at the bar and drink a shot of Jack and drink at Rainer beer. Don't expect fine wine or expensive bourbon; just that dive bar cocktail. The food seems to have not changed and they still have the carne asada dinner that hasn't changed, french dip, burgers and the only thing I miss is a great traditional club sandwich and I really need a hamburger steak and baked potato drizzled with au jus. I am disappointed with the beer selection as it went mostly PNW craft beers and they no longer have Budweiser, Miller or Coors long necks or are they on draft. I settled for a Modelo; not Negro Modelo. The craft beer phase is not cool anymore and they need to revert back to when American lagers ruled. Overall, this is great venue to meet friends and Iounge in Mercer Island and just chill out with friends and have a few drinks. The selection has changed, but I'm not hating on Roanoke Inn, just being nostalgic for things I can't get easily anymore.

Five stars, if only because my brother's impossible standards were finally defeated…read more A group of us stopped by after pickleball for brunch, and everything from the service to the food was fantastic. My brother is, without question, the pickiest diner I know. He's spent the better part of fifty years conducting what appears to be an unofficial cheeseburger audit of the West Coast. He orders a burger almost everywhere we go, critiques every one of them, and has been known to send food back without a second thought. So when he took one bite of the cheeseburger, quietly kept eating, refused to share a single truffle fry, and eventually announced, "This is the best burger I've ever had," the rest of us nearly fell out of our chairs. There wasn't a single complaint, which may be a first in recorded family history. Even more impressive, he's already been back twice on his own. I went in a completely different direction and finished brunch with the date and molasses cake. It immediately reminded me of the English toffee dessert that Citizen Cake in San Francisco used to make years ago. Rich, buttery, and not overly sweet, with house-made ice cream providing the perfect balance, it was one of those desserts that makes you slow down because you don't want the last bite to be the last bite. Great food, warm service, and a relaxed atmosphere. If Yelp allowed six stars, I'd award the extra one for the burger's remarkable ability to temporarily stop my brother from whining.

I love sitting at the bar and watching the bartenders work. The cocktails here are incredible! It may actually be the reason I don't visit Allister more because I want to drink all their cocktails since they are so good. I am a huge fan of the Emerald City Sour and the Mr. Bluesky because I have a weak spot for delicious gin cocktails with egg whites. The food has always been delicious. The burger is big and juicy, and the steak frites are a perfect size and cooked to perfection. The French fries could feed a small army. The fish and chips may have been my favorite because suddenly I felt like I was back in London with that big breaded filet. It was crispy on the outside, tender on the in, and nicely savory. I have gone here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lunch may be my favorite time because it typically is a bit more chill than either brunch or dinner. Allister can get very busy and when it is busy it can become quite loud. The restaurant is very bright and inviting. I love the wood tones and they have an amazing bar. Very comfortable! I highly recommend Allister!
