Our first visit to a shake shack Bellevue and wasn't really impressed with the service, the staff wasn't nice and the iPad ordering was very confusing, it showed the offers the purchase more then $15 and you get a free fries then when we got our order it didn't come with fries. I felt pretty ignored at the front when I tried to bring it up. Then a manager came over and explained and gave a few promo cards. Then they were out of ranch when I ordered a side of onions rings, they didn't say they were out just sub it with another sauce. I get it they out but at least say sorry we don't have any ranch at the moment. All good.. food was subpar. Onions rings weren't worth the price. Bathrooms were filthy not cleaned or refreshed either toiletries. Wouldn't visit again.

I've been to the Shake Shack in Bellevue square a few times and it never disappoints. It does get busy, so there's usually a 15-20 minute wait, but the service is still well organized and worth it. You can order ahead or use the kiosks, which makes things easier. The quality has been consistent every time. I usually get the Chicken Shack, chicken bites, and cheese fries, and everything has always been fresh and delicious. Definitely a reliable spot when you're craving Shake Shack.

Ah yes, the overpriced fast food joint. The burgers here ARE delicious! They're just small and not worth it really. I only come when I find a deal, so not very often. They released their new burger, The Big Shack! I got a deal for it so went in to try it out! It was good! Did I pay full price? Nope! I always like their fries. They're crinkle cut and crispy. Their beer is light and good as well. Overall, its a good burger, but unless you spend over $20, you'll leave hungry. That's why I only go when there's a deal which I tend to find a couple times a year. See you next year!

    Apparently "normal" soggy bun ‍

Is there an option for zero stars? (there should be) Shake shack should be called raw burger shack. My daughter and I stopped by the Bellevue location around 1:10 today. Ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and the bun was completely soggy. I asked if that was normal and the guy said ya. It's from the sauce on the burger. (Spoiler. There was NO sauce on the burger) My daughter was like well gross but I'm hungry. She took a bite and it was red and raw in the middle. I again said is this normal. And they shrugged their shoulders like well sure. I said it's not. I didn't ask for it to be mooing. And your website says cooked. This is not that. He asked if I'd like another one. I said well I'm not eating this and for $13 for one burger I'd like to be able to eat it. Guess what. The second one was the same thing. We left two raw uneaten burgers on the table and left. I spent $31 doe this meal and I had to share my $7 burger with her so we both left still hungry. I can promise you I won't ever be back. This place should be ashamed of themselves. Listen if you want e-coli this is the place to eat apparently.

This location was very busy on a summer Friday night! You order at the tablets near the entrance. We were lucky to snag a table, and the food came out quickly. The burger had great grilled flavor and I enjoyed the special sauce. It was a bustling environment and the food was what you would expect for a fast food restaurant.

I enjoy Shake Shack every now and again and found myself here a couple times recently following one of my work site visits. I also had a little cash back offer for coming so I figured why not. This Shake Shack is like most of the others I've visited, a fair amount of seating but being this one is right in the heart of downtown Bellevue and steps from Bellevue Square mall, it's quite busy so be prepared to consider taking your food to go if there aren't any seats. This Shake Shack in particular has very friendly staff, in both of my visits the food runners were very nice and in my most recent visit the order kiosk was glitching a bit, so the young man went to the kitchen to make sure the order went through. He returned letting me know it had. The food is good as expected - my cheeseburger, fries and Oreo shake were all as expected. So, if you're a Shake Shack fan, you'll likely enjoy the Bellevue Square location.

This location is spacious and brightly lit, with lots of seating options. You order by kiosk, grab a number for your order, and seat yourself. I got the avocado bacon burger which was great but definitely on the smaller side as Shake Shack goes. I also shared the fries with truffle sauce which was delicious. I hope it's not a limited menu item.

When Shake Shack has a $9.99 meal deal, I'm there! It's def 5 stars for value. I love their promos and that's what will keep me going back there! Got the chicken burger, Drink (love that the fountain soda has a ginger ale option!) and fries for $9.99. Amazing. And love the shack sauce. Keep these deals coming!! Service is great and people at the window counter are pretty quick and responsive. On a Saturday afternoon near Bell Square...beware. It can get packed!!! Couldn't find an open table anywhere and lines were super long to order so just order online and pick up' we fortunately snagged an open seat outside just as people were leaving.

I've been to the Bellevue Shake Shack a few times and mostly ordered pickup. Unfortunately, my experience with the pickup service never improves. I place my order on the app and receive a message after paying that I'll get a text notifying me when my order is ready to be picked up. Each time, I never receive that text. Even when I go during the time window for picking up my food, it is never ready within that timeframe. Today, I waited at least 20 minutes before going to pick up my order. Luckily, it was there, but I still did not receive the text notifying me when it was ready." Once I received my order, I could tell the food was sitting around for a while. When I got back to my office, I was shocked to see how the cheese fries were placed in an open faced fries tray and not an enclosed box. The napkin was placed on top of the cheese fries tray and to my surprise as I was about to put the ketchup on the fries, I saw a short strand of a lash or something. The strand was 2cm long or so. Not only was there a strand, but there was also some sort of lint on the hardened cheese. I was so excited for Shake Shack to be in Bellevue, but their pickup service is making it hard to like coming to this location. The dine in service is a bit better since the employees bring out the order to you where you're sitting. Let's hope the pickup service gets better in the near future.

I will give this location the benefit of the doubt and rate it 3 stars due to the extra crowds of the holiday week (Wednesday before Thanksgiving). Food: High quality ingredients and all food and drinks were made to order. Their menu is a little limited but did have a few kid friendly items. I think their Black Truffle Burger was delicious and a highlight on the menu. The chicken bites were tasty, but a little too salty and tad dry since it used breast meat. The vanilla milkshake was smooth and refreshing, as was the sunset lemonade. Service: For a busy night, the crew did their best to keep up with orders. Our food was promised to be completed in a certain time window and we were supposed to be notified via text message when it was ready. I never received a text message and our meal came out close to 20 minutes after the delivery window. Others in my party also experienced long waits for their orders, so it must be because of the high crowds. Ambiance: The location is very centrally located in Bellevue Square and parking is free in the garage attached to the restaurant. The restaurant could not keep up with the high crowds because the cleanliness took a back seat during the dinner rush (ex. empty napkin dispensers, overfilled trash bins, messy ketchup bar, wet floor from the overfilled trash bins, random fries in the ketchup basket next to the food pick up area). Again, it's probably not like this all of the time, but a little unappetizing. We will give this location another try next time we are in the area. Shake Shacks are typically great burger joints, but tonight's experience was an outlier with average rating.

I love the fries and the burgers have always been cooked well. I think that with more burger competition out there great state may have had to adapt. I do miss the Chinatown location. The ambiance was super cosy. The Bellevue location is nice also as it's a walk up window. Nonetheless, the Ballard location is my all time favorite in terms of ambiance, service and food. I will continue to eat and support here. Lots of hard working staff aiming to make one's dining experience special.

Great Shame Burger…read more This is possibly there worst burger I've ever paid for. I don't think it's even possible to make a burger with less flavor. A public school lunch burger, circa 1980, is even better when you include the nostalgia factor. Just about any food in Seattle, is overpriced. I'm starting to figure that out. But this was overpriced AND bad. I am usually very forgiving since I used to be a line cook. It takes truly terrible food for me to reach the max. character limit on Yelp. There are two locations in the Bellevue Square shopping area. The larger one is in the main mall. And there's a smaller location at Lincoln Square South (across the street) next to King Leroy bar that serves as their kitchen and has their burgers on the bar menu while also serving out of a take-out window outside the bar area in the "food hall". I visited the smaller of the two, the one attached to King Leroy in Lincoln Square South. I just finished a movie (on a Monday) and wanted something more than popcorn in my stomach. It was already getting too late to cook something at home. I ordered the Great State Burger. Their namesake burger. How could I go wrong? I'm supporting a local chain right that talks about local, local, local...it's gotta be good, right? WRONG. When I got my food, I thought it was something off a kids menu. It was SO TINY. (I took a photo next to my keys for scale.) The patty was gray, with very little caramelization if any. Almost no flavor. When I say almost, I mean the only detectable flavor was from the pickles. It was swimming in their "great state sauce" which was more like weak thousand island dressing. And the lettuce looked like it has seen better days. The bun (which is the closest thing to Wonder Bread I've had in a long time) was not up to the task with all that sauce/dressing. It held up as well as a wet paper towel, but a paper towel would've tasted better. If you've ever seen the movie Falling Down starring Michael Douglas, he's already nuts, but he's further outraged by the tired, squashed burger he is served at the Whammyburger. The Great State Burger reminds me of that same sad burger in the movie. They charge $10.50 for this? And don't forget since it's counter service at the window, you pay the tip ahead of time, and assume it's going to be good. I normally tip 20%. I gambled and lost. Oh...amost forgot. I had a side of onion rings. $8. I counted 7 1/2 onion rings. That's I think $1.07 per onion ring if you round up to the nearest cent. Also not giving me warm fuzzies about this place. Fogo de Chao in the same building has an all-day, everyday happy hour menu with a $10 burger. (UPDATE: I had the burger at Fogo de Chao a week later and it was 1,000 times better.) Tavern Hall (near the skybridge on 2nd floor of Bellevue Square, eastisde of the NE parking garage) has a $10 happy hour cheeseburger and an extensive happy hour menu. I'll have to give that a try next. McDonald's has a Quarter Pounder with cheese for a little over $7 in the Seattle area, and I know for a fact it's way better (if you get past the whole terrible corporate fast food thing). I'm gonna say Wendy's Son of Baconator is better as well (for sure when it's $3 on the Wendy's app). Jollibee's Angus Cheeseburger is leaps and bounds better, and that's from a place that serves chicken, and burgers are kind of an afterthought. One day after I had the insult to all burgers from Great State, I made a burger at home with store-bought ingredients and it tasted very good. And I'm not exactly a Top Chef finalist. It's not rocket science. There is no reason at all to get a burger from Great State Burger. There are too many other options nearby and nobody should degrade themselves by paying money for such a pathetic and miserable product. Seriously, I don't know how this local chain got popular. It's bad food at ridiculous prices. Granted, food in any kind of mall setting is taking advantage of a captive audience. Fish in a barrel as the saying goes. But this is truly shameful. I wonder if the owners actually try the food at this location and do any quality control, or are the burgers this bad at all their locations? My google research say this chain used to be part of the famed Sea Creatures Restaurant Group lead by Chef Renee Erickson, but it's not longer listed as one of their properties on their website. An Everout (The Stranger) news blurb from March 2023 says Erickson sold the chain to one of her employees Nathan Yeager. Well, judging by the quality of the food, it's gone waaaay downhill since Erickson sold. Or it was never good to begin with?

Downtown Bellevue has an interesting set-up, with no McDonald's, Burger King, or Taco Bell within walking distance...there is a Wendy's though, so my wife and I decided to take a stroll to pick up a late lunch/early dinner. Ordered through the app. Even though I hadn't used it for a couple of years, it still offered some good deals, including a Dave's Single for $1 with other purchase, which is what I took advantage of. The app also allows you to customize by asking for eXTra toppings, which is what I did (pickle, onion, tomato, lettuce) for no charge. They use whole romaine lettuce instead of iceburg, which I hadn't noticed before. A Jr Vanilla Frosty ($1.79) was our dessert: quite small but creamy and delicious. I always get a small chili ($3.19) when at Wendys'...the large is only $1 more, but I've found the small is a better deal. The chili wasn't great this time, though: very runny with little flavor. My wife got a biggie bag (junior bacon cheeseburger, junior fries, small drink, and 4 piece nuggets (upgraded to spicy buffalo for extra dollar). They give you a ton of warm sauce topped on the 4 nuggets...need to eat it fast. A better deal is to get the normal nuggets and get the buffalo dipping sauce. They have a Coke free style machine, so can go wild with flavors with your drink. The restaurant was pretty clean, with a lot of sunny seating. The workers were rude: nobody was manning any of the walk-up lines, and multiple folks continuously ignored me as they walked past even though I made eye contact and gave a 'need help' nod while standing in the mobile pickup area. A simple 'Someone will be with you...' would have made a big difference.

What to keep in mind: If you want authentic regional Chinese dishes, look elsewhere. Panda Express is its own thing -- think familiar American flavors with an Asian-inspired twist. It leans sweet; if you prefer salty or spicy-forward dishes, ask for extra chili or try their spicier menu options. Bottom line: The Panda provides tasty, fast, and consistent food. Great for when you want a satisfying, quick meal with flavor that's distinctly Panda.

I'd been looking for them everywhere, and I was so glad when I spotted them at Beecher's a few years ago. Whenever I have a craving, I can just stop by the mall and pick up a bag! Regarding their food, I wish they listed all ingredients on the menu. I love their lasagna, but it has spinach in it, which I'm intolerant to, so the first and last time I ordered lasagna at Beecher's was a pretty painful experience. During my most recent Beecher's trip a few weeks ago, my boyfriend ordered a grilled cheese and their salmon mac and cheese. I had a few bites of both, and they were delicious. The grilled cheese was perfectly crispy, and I loved the crunch it made when I first bit into it. The gooey-ness of the cheese in the macaroni was also incredible, and I loved the texture. I'm sure I'll come back soon! I would probably be more inclined to drop by during every mall trip if they had better coffee. Every time I order an iced mocha, it's overpriced and absolutely disgusting. The flavours are never incorporated, and every time I think it will be different, it's the same.

Instead of the deadpan stare and monotone voice that you might expect out of a younger generation, the experience was punctuated by a genuine-feeling connection - warm, friendly, and proactive communication. I like this place, and I truly respect the young women that my wife and I had the pleasure of interacting with.
