There's a shift leader I believe his name is Marco, he has a horrible HORRIBLE attitude, horrible customer service, this is the second time I go and HE messed up my order and when I ask him to fix it he literally acts like he can't understand me, or will just ignore me and look at me as if he had some sort of mental illness. One should really pay attention to the words "Participating Locations Only" when watching their adverts hyping 2/$5 Quarter Pounders, Big Macs, etc., because, at this time this location is NOT participating in the 2/$5 deal. My quarter with cheese was an unreasonable $4.99. Yikes! Highway robbery right off the highway! However, to be fair, service and food were good. Sticker shock alone worthy for three stars. It used to have a nice gas up and a gathering area,,, now it's all chopped up and the 1 room we r told is a "fire room" , not sure if u come inside from an outside fire or if u escape to there if there's an inside fire??? We only do fast food when we're on the road and this McDonald's is the perfect place for us to stop between Silver Spring and Green Castle to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee. It's a very easy location to exit and re-enter I70. They must have remodeled it since the last time we were there. I was struck by the soft lighting, the tile flooring, and much to my surprise, a gas fireplace in the center of one of the dining areas. The restaurant is L-shaped and the order counter and beverage area are at the end of the smaller side of the L. You can place your order and get your drink, then move to a booth in the larger room, where it's quieter. I can't comment on friendliness as I didn't go to the order counter, but my husband got our sandwiches, which were special order with no meat, quickly. The sandwiches were standard McDonald's, the coffee hot and good. But what really got me was the décor, which for fast food was very pleasant, and the cleanliness. read more

I eat breakfast from this McDonald's every morning and my orders are always correct, exactly what I ordered. The morning crew is great. What is with the evening crew? I have placed 4 mobile orders in the last two weeks and there has been something wrong with each order, regular coke instead of diet, I can't drink regular since I am diabetic. My drink has been forgotten all together and I have to ask them for it. I ordered 8 burritos and I get 7, I have been shorted burritos twice lately. Once I ate inside and the burger was cold, the cheese wasn't even melted. If it wasn't for the morning crew, I think I would avoid this McDonald's all together, even if it is the most convenient for me. Very disappointed regular customer October 4 another disappointing evening meal at this McDonald's. I had a mobile order that I indicated that I would pick up inside and they held it until it was cold, the soda machine was out of Diet Coke and the dr. Pepper tasted nasty. The lids and the containers for ketchup are two different sizes. My good was cold, my drink nasty. I swear I will never eat at this location on the evening again. Wonderful. This is the cleanest restaurant I have ever has the pleasure to dine. The dining room, the counters, the front end , the drive through window and most of all, the kitchen ( I leaned over the counter to look in the back) was pristine. Even the rest room was immaculate,which is a task for such a busy location. The staff were professional, friendly and fast. They covered multiple areas flawlessly. Their uniforms were crisp and clean. Although the restaurant was busy, we got our order immediately and the food was great. I always stop at this McDonald's for years because it is always good, but with this afternoon manager it is a standout. I even took the time to tell her what a great job she was doing. I rarely write a review but understanding the difficulty of running any food service during these challenging time, I had to take the time to recognize excellence. read more

McD's This is one of the cleanest McDonald's I've been to with modern seating area and decor. Lots of seating, tables, and lots of spacious parking. I received fast service, and they were accurate with my order. Place was safe and well-lit at night. Lots of video surveillance cameras. This is a good location with easy access from the interstate. read more

The new manager seems to have his act together, service has improved immensely. This place is slowly becoming the place it once was which is a positive turn for the better. Speed of service has improved greatly, more importantly the employees seem happier for the most part. read more

Either newly remodeled or recently built, this is a nicer McDonald's. There is nice low lighting and everything feels new. There's even a central fireplace in the middle of the dining are. Bathrooms were a little smelly but the fries were just fine. read more

I was on a bus with about 25 other people and we stopped here on March 24. There were 2 buses already in the parking lot. I was certain this was a mistake and it would take forever - nope! We had entirely correct orders in hand from a professional, courteous staff in a matter of minutes. I was so grateful! This place is total hit or miss...I just wish we could figure out the formula so we could skip the "miss" times. When they are good, they are good. Hot food, friendly service, prepared fresh, clean restaurant (5-stars). When they are off, they are HORRIBLE (negative stars). Apathetic employees, **SLOW** service, cold food, incorrectly charged, wrong order, overfull trash, forgotten basics (like straws, really?). Overall, its a "eh" experience. I'd rather go someplace else, but selection is limited in the immediate area. On my last visit, I made the mistake of trying to order breakfast at 10:35. Great experience at McDonald's today! 1) I was able to get my husband, who does not eat any fast food, to eat a Big Mac here at this McDonalds. 2) the seating area and the whole place was really clean. Also, the staff was very nice and accommodating. 3) I didn't need a milkshake but the milkshake machine was working. And that just says something! Very impressed by this McDonald's. God forbid you have kids in the car. If it wasn't so close I would never go back. The last 5 times we have gone there our orders have been completely messed up in some way or another even going in to order is just as bad the last two times we have gone in. This place could be one of the best McDonald's in the Union: 24 hour lobby, relatively decent staff, and not a filth trap like most McDonald's. That said, they need to have someone cleaning more often, and never give the invalid and super lame excuse of not having most every table clean of "we were just really busy." Good restaurants consistently plan for that, and most McDonald's and fast food places seem to fail here, trying to optimize over labor costs (big mistake: cleanliness is a big demand/revenue driver, on both initial and potential repeat visits). Drink area also needs more consistent upkeep. On a prior visit a month or so ago late at night, I had to put up with extremely loud employees running their very foul mouths, as if the time of night allowed them to do so. This could easily be a 2 star review here that I wish could be a 5 star review. Will visit one more (third) time on my Interstate 70 travels: if improved, will get more stars, if not, will drop to one star, and never return. read more

I am a daily customer at the Myersville, Maryland McDonalds. I get coffee and I try to avoid the toxic food. I am not a fan of corporate McDonalds at all, however I am a HUGE fan of just about all of the employees who work at the Myersville, Maryland McDonalds. Many of them are young people, most of whom are going to school and working at McDonalds and they do an INCREDIBLE job even when they are shorthanded. They are hardworking, professional, courteous and they handle all situations with a smile for customers even when the customers are rude, obnoxious, just plain nasty, etc. Unfortunately, nasty rude customers are all too frequent. Working at McDonalds (in the restaurants themselves) is a horrible, nowhere job where the pay is dreadful, the working conditions are abysmal and the corporate CEO and other higher ups keep just about all of the employees just under a full time load of hours so they get no benefits. It is a physically exhausting job where job related injuries and long term repetitive motion damage to the body is/are frequent. The employees at the Myersville Maryland McDonalds all deserve medals as far as I'm concerned. Please, any of you out there who either go there or who may go there, stop taking the employees there for granted. read more
