I ordered a pumpkin matcha with the meringue, and you could tell right away that everything was made fresh. The meringue had that slight sugar texture you'd expect, but it was still smooth, delicious, and paired perfectly with the drink. I also appreciated that they use ceremonial-grade matcha, it really makes a difference in flavor. For breakfast, we tried the steak and eggs along with a croissant filled with eggs and cheese. Everything was well-made, full of flavor, and very satisfying. The croissant in particular was decadent and buttery, easily one of the highlights of the meal. Before leaving, I grabbed a few desserts to go. Not everything was labeled, but the staff was incredibly friendly, happy to explain each item, and offered great recommendations. The prices were excellent for the quality and portion sizes. I would definitely recommend Gigi's Bakery to anyone looking for a cute and tasty spot in Naples, whether you're in the mood for a new breakfast place or just want to treat yourself to something sweet.

I ordered a doppio over ice and my hubby got an iced mocha (half sweet). Both drinks were solid, and the prices were very reasonable for the area or even compared to bucks. Despite the crowd, we were in and out quickly, which we appreciated after a long travel day. Overall, a nice stop and a place we'd happily return to.

There were also lots of coffee /beverage options but we can save that for another day. And if you're looking for a sweet treat, you hit the jackpot here. The options are endless. Marianna was so helpful with our order and really went out of her way to help us. There's a really nice area to sit and enjoy your food selections too. We had a really nice experience. It was a little cool at first, but once the sun came up it warmed right up and was super comfortable. The waitresses were so nice and really on top of everything. There were seven of us, and we ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch. Everything came out fast, fresh, and hot. Breakfast was a hit--especially the pancakes. They had this perfect little crunch on the outside, and of course we had to order some "for the table" because that's just what we do. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and all the bacon and sausage were delicious. The lunch crew was just as happy. The bleu cheeseburger looked amazing, and the fries were perfectly crispy. My brother-in-law ordered the chicken fried steak again because he loved it last time, and he said it was just as good--tender, flavorful, and that gravy was spot-on. Overall, Alda's Diner is such a great find. Good, simple, home-cooked food done right. We'll definitely be back, and if you haven't tried it yet, you should!

I ended up throwing up violently, felt so weird and my body was completely off the entirety of the day, shakey and nauseous and faint.
