A man in no uniform told me the only way to get the boot off was to pay $50 cash to him. I've never had a terrible experience at this McDs. The iced coffee used to be off but lately it's been consistently good. The food is hot and fresh and the curbside employees are pleasant and efficient. As far as ambiance, inside is clean and new and curbside service is great. Ample parking also but don't park here and go somewhere else guys!! They have 1-2 people that study you and boot cars. Then they offer to take it off on the spot for $50 cash. FYI. Don't understand the hate. This particular location is levels above many on the west coast. Never gotten my order wrong and service is always excellent for the most part. You gotta factor in some information before forming an opinion about this place. Whenever I go, which is usually late at night, it is absolutely packed. These guys get your order out in a timely fashion and with accuracy. I truly am impressed with the quality of service delivered here. However, not everything is perfect, and this place has some serious issues. The biggest one being that there is no water dispenser at the drinking fountain. The only water you can get is a $2.49 bottle of Dasani. When did water not become a human right. It is outrageous that they don't have water cups. First time I have ever seen something like that. Maybe it's a culture shock and it's only something that is offered in the midwest, but I highly doubt that. The other bad thing is that there seems to be a welcoming to crackheads and mentally ill people because they seem to like to come in and break the fucking kiosks. So when those johns are out of order it becomes pretty hard to order, considering they don't take orders from the counter. read more

TL;DR: Watch out for a 2006-2013 Black Mercedes Benz SUV. They work for Avalon towing and will prey on you. Feels predatory and a bit racist. It is Juneteenth 2024 and as a black couple we decide to pig out. We decide to order pizza, tacos, and fries from McDonalds. We pull into McDonalds and decide to pick up the other orders first and work our way back into McDonalds. So we park our car in the lot and my finacee and I go to pizza shop and taco place. We placed our orders in advance because the plan is to pick up the other food and then go to McDonalds. As we go back to drop off the first food in the car, we notice a boot on our car. My finacee has lived here for over 2 decades and myself 6 years and this never has happened. The guy in the 2004-2010 Black Mercedes Benz said he put a boot on our car because we did not go into McDonalds. We explained our reasoning but he did not hear it. Just preyed to get $50 from us. Never eating here again. Not worth dealing with vultures. Note: McDonalds parking lot is very large and there is ample room for this to occur. This Franchisee is not customer friendly. I understand you need your parking lot for your customers and staff but to have Avalon place a boot on customers cars without even noticing they are in McDonalds is just wrong. Avalon is out for themselves and McDonalds franchisee is allowing them to do this to "true" customers. This happen to my family while they were inside the McDonald's. Thankfully they didn't eat inside or the car would have been towed. Call corporate at 800-244-6227 to file a complaint. Requested franchisee to call and to date (2 weeks) they haven't called. I have always enjoyed coming to this great establishment as the service is always great! The food is always fantastic as well and the staff is always willing to help if the food does not come out right away. This is the McRib edition. This review took some time. So much anticipation for a product such as the McRib. It tasted like a rubber yoga mat draped in bbq sauce. The bread felt manufactured and moist, the onions were just there. None of that mattered. I loved it or should I say I loved them because I had two. I have never seen a McDonald's run so poorly from management to the Staffing. Always one register open no matter how busy it is. It takes 20 minutes sometimes to order a soft drink. The order is never correct and food is prepared differently everytime. If you have a choice I would strongly recommend not using New Rochelle McDonald's. The managers have no customer service so of course the rest of the team does not. I ordered a Frappe that was terrible and after bringing it back got lectured about why it was halfway before bringing it back instead of apologizing for the product not meeting standard. After the manager made it again and I took a sip it was still wrong, then lectured me on how he is making an except to refund me. I told him to keep the refund as I will never eat there again. i love mcdonalds and let me tell you why, i can have my fave hot cakes and sausage, large diet coke and find a booth in the back of this new rochelle mickys and waste over an hour while waiting for my cuz. the drive thru is packed but ordering inside is not . typical mcdonalds menu and staff are nice and friendly for the most part .place is kept clean and no riff raff hanging around during my visit. good strong wifi , quiet while i eat and read my morning newspapers..i did notice more folks using the restrooms compared to folks odering food but i guess as the old saying go's when you gotta go , you gotta go. read more

This is the worst Mc Donald's I've been to. It's always crowded; line out the door and they have just one register open. The fountain drinks are, depending on your choice, empty and no ice. I went there at 11:00pm last night, thinking it might be better. WRONG, Same thing, long line out the door and instead of opening another register, they closed out the other resister. Instead of trying to get everyone out in a timely fashion, the cashers stood there chatting about how they want to go home. I was born and raised in New Rochelle, but I haven't lived there in 12 years. I come back every once in a blue but recently have been coming everyday since I now am a member of a gym there. Needless to say, with all the changes, I love visiting places that are still there after all these years. Last Monday [June 10th] I went to get oatmeal after my workout and this young man helped me. Most people don't go to fast food restaurants for the customer service (let's be real). However, when you receive great customer service, it makes the overall experience that much more pleasant. This young man was so very polite and courteous and maintained a smile. The energy in here is light and positive, which is a nod to the management there. I haven't been here during a busy time recently, however, if it's like this experience, kudos. Clean, seems to be a solid team from front of house to back (I pay attention). If you want to swing by here, you have to leave at least 20 minutes of allotted time. The service is extremely slow. It usually takes about 10 minutes for your order to be taken. I've waited almost 15 mins for nuggets and fries & 10 minutes for my coffee, which is a long time if you're pressed for time. How appropriate that one of my favorite restaurants is my 100th review! I don't care what anyone says. Ray Kroc was a genius. I read somewhere that everything on the menu here "tastes like McDonalds." Definitely true, but in the best way. You always know what you're getting and it's always delicious. I dare you to find tastier French fries. Big Macs and Snack Wraps always satisfy. If you want a relatively healthy breakfast, the egg white delite is awesome and the egg is not a gross patty thing like you might expect. Pro tip: order your McFlurry with m&ms AND Oreos. For all you yelpers complaining about slow service at various places, remember, mcdonalds doesn't keep you waiting. Nobody could argue that it's overpriced. This review is 100% serious. Had to grab something quickly for my kids on a busy day. Forgot to order them drinks and asked the manager for water cups. She told me they didn't have any water cups and she refused to give me ANY cups for water. I then said my kids need to drink and she grudgingly handed me one cup for two kids. After I told her how ridiculous this was she finally caved in and gave us two cups for water. Was this argument really necessary??! I've been here many times, but today's experience prompted me to write a review. I ordered a meal, but upsized it to a large. I received a large drink, no problem, but my fries were a medium. I was unable to check my food until I got home, when I found this out. So I called up this location and asked for a manager. I told her I was jipped because I ordered a large meal and got a medium fry. Do you know what her response was? To literally hang up on me, no words, not even a sorry. Hey hey hey y'all, Latisha here, your ultimate reviewer. Now let me tell you bout my experience at this here Maccas. I start off with a classic order- some McNuggets and a chocolate milk. The server don't even make eye contact with me, need me to repeat my order, not even listening and stuff. I'm like Latisha it's a nice day for some fast food, this is where you had your first date with Steve (we're married now, 3 diamond ring!) try to enjoy it. Well I did try, but I could not... Allow me to elaborate on how the quality of this particular Mickey D's has gone down. 1) No more Ronald McDonald going around in costume! That really added to the experience. Took off 1 star. 2) They no longer allow adults in the playpen. Seriously? Down goes another star. 3) They used to shake the chocolate milk for you. Not anymore. Ok so this is coming as someone who works at this McDonald's. Some of the managers are shit and will talk shit about you in Spanish to everyone else. They are disorganized and some of them are so careless that your order will likely be wrong because they get so stressed by the timer ticking at every order(the big guys get really mad about this). Yes the ice cream /milkshake machine always breaks. Idk why they don't just buy another one cuz damn no matter how cold it is outside people always ask for it and we have to say it's not working because it really isn't. For everyone saying it's dirty, I was surprised to find that it really isn't. Everybody is forced to wash their hands every hour and when changing stations. In the front, the cashiers are provided with a handsanitizer dispenser to use instead or running to the back every time you change stations or pick something up from the floor. That being said, we have one person responsible for cleaning the lobby. If you come during 12pm-2 it's going to be dirty especially during weeekends because it's literally all hands on deck in getting all the food out as fast as a possible. We are bombarded with orders made at the cashier, orders from the kiosk(the self service thingy), Uber orders and mobile orders all at the same time. The screen fills up and sometimes the kitchen is backed up because of all these orders. If you order when it's busy you are GUARANTEED food fresh off the grill since the pre-maid ones won't be enough. And do not even get me started with weekdays after school hours. The high schoolers are an absolute nightmare. Because of them, we no longer leave napkins or the ketchup dispenser outside. Now just a protip for all of you, the French fries are always less than five minutes old. More than ten minutes out and they get thrown out so please chill. Your food, especially if you order a quarter pounder, they have to make that meat fresh that's why it takes so long. For example, plain cheeseburger meats are made 8 at a time. Once they are running out the kitchen staff calls the person on the grill to make more. Fish are also done by order so if you don't like waiting, don't order that. Ordering on the kiosk is so much more efficient if your using a credit/debit card. How can you not expect this place to be busy when a high school, college, and a decent number of residents living just a few blocks away. And the happy meal toys, sometimes they are gender less. Big shock. For example, a month ago we had the wreck it Ralph toys. We are given a large box and the box has two options out the number of toys you can get. We take both options but them in a tray and tale it outside. We are not being assholes and we really won't open a whole other box just because your daughter thinks Ralph is a boy toys and wants Moana. If you're going to picky about the toy just don't get one. Very rarely will you get the toy you want. It's all up to what toys the delivery truck gives US. Sometimes it's the same 5 boxes with the same 2 toys. I'm sorry, it is what it is. Also, just something for you all, don't ask us what we recommend. So many times people come up to order and have no idea what they want and the line behind them gets longer and longer. If you don't know what you want, use the kiosk, it has pictures instead of waiting for the sandwich to appear on the screen, you'll save everybody a lot of time. Also, please be careful what you say when you order. There are 5 different chicken sandwiches and all at different price points. Do you want nuggets, tenders or glazed tenders? You have no idea how many times someone has told me they want a four piece tender and then get mad at me because they wanted the glazed, but never, not once say glazed, even when I repeat the order back to them. Please be respectful to us cashiers, you have no idea how hard it is to deal with people who disrespect you for something you have no control over. Or something that can easily be fixed. In conclusion, this job is stressful to the max. IT IS NEVER EMPTY. It is the calm before the storm when the store is eerily quite. This place is clean and really we do try to get everything right but mistakes do happen(more often when certain people are on shift but that's none of my business). We get yelled at for standing and doing nothing those few moments it is nit busy, we have to clean and refill constantly. The scheduling and some of the managers are shit. And some customers are shitty. But I continue to do my job with a smile cuz in the end I'm getting paid and this job is temporary.
