Luma is a hidden gem in the heart of Flagler Avenue with a great atmosphere and an inviting vibe. I ordered the Chicken Breakfast Burrito, and the flavors were excellent. It is a bit on the messy side, but that's to be expected with a well-stuffed breakfast burrito. My only issue with the food was the breakfast potatoes--they were noticeably undercooked and still had a raw crunch to them. The coffee was fantastic and came out quickly, which was a nice surprise. The service was also impressive. Despite working behind a very small counter, the team moved efficiently and kept everything flowing smoothly. The one thing that gave me pause was how the coffee was served. It came out without lids, and while customers were leaning over to grab their food, they were talking directly above the uncovered cups. I'm sure no one intended anything by it, but from a guest's perspective it wasn't the best look and raised a small hygiene concern. A simple change, like placing the coffee on one side and food on the other would be a much better aesthetic. Overall, Luma delivers great food, excellent coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere. With a small tweak to the coffee service and a little more attention to the breakfast potatoes, this would easily be one of my favorite breakfast spots on Flagler Avenue. read more

I wanted to like this place but other than the vibes, it'll be a pass for me unless there is no line. Waited in line for 30+ minutes on a Saturday morning. There was a large group in front of us that kept having people join it as they waited, not Lumas fault, but having more than one person taking orders could have helped the wait time. Coffee was okay. I felt like they used too heavy of a roast for my strawberries and cream drink. Ordered the breakfast bowl and the breakfast platter. Both were bland. No avocado with the platter and the bacon seemed like the thin microwaveable bacon strips. Potatoes and eggs were bland. Toast was dry and there were not condiments (ketchup, salt, pepper, butter). For $19 for each entree, the food should have been better. Also they charge you to use your debit card instead of cash. There is no signage stating such anywhere or mention. This is such a cute little spot along Flagler Avenue. The outdoor patio is adorable with twinkle lights, swing chairs, and larger tables to accommodate fuller parties. They also have fans out to help cool down patrons during hot days. It is a really convenient location. The latte was fine, the lemonade was good. Unfortunately, the breakfast sandwich (eggs, cheese, bacon on sourdough) was really bland. It did not seem like anything was seasoned. Awesome spot to hang out and chill in a nice outdoor atmosphere and a great place to watch sports. The wine selection is minimal but what they have is great. We had a few appetizers. The hummus plate was amazing - probably the best I've ever eaten at a restaurant!! The only little thing that is taking this to 4 stars is the charcuterie board - it needs some work, it felt like an afterthought and didn't even have crackers or bread. Found this place on TikTok and was in the area so we decided to stop by They do have a small parking lot behind the coffee shop, the entrance is on the side street. I had a iced caramel latte and My Husband had a hot caramel latte It's 100° outside. I don't know why he had to have a hot coffee however he enjoyed it. Customer service was great. The ladies that were taking our order. We're very nice. This place has a really great vibes. They do offer different events throughout the month. There's one coming up that is coffee, Matcha music and it's on the weekend and they have a DJ come in and play while you enjoy your coffee which I think is really great hoping to attend. Luma's has a gorgeous set up in a great location in the heart of Flagler Ave. It could be the perfect hangout spot for tourists and locals alike! I came here with some of my friends a few weeks ago to check out this new spot. The ambience is great and has so many cute touches. However, the quality of the food and the prices of the food were not some impressive. My husband and I both ordered burgers, which after tax came to nearly $20 each. It saddened me that these burgers were not freshly made and were standard frozen burger patties that you'd be served in your high school cafeteria which they served with chips. My friends ordered a breakfast sandwich and avocado toast which they seemed to enjoy, but was nothing they'd come back for. I was also shocked to see that they are selling PB&J's for $10. This place has the potential to be great. My biggest recommendation would be to either lower the prices to a reasonable standard for the quality of food offered or elevate the food offered (maybe even change to tapas?). There are so many great places to eat on Flagler and I'm afraid they'll get passed by due to price and quality of the food. read more

The structure of the bagel didn't make sense either. Why dice onions on an open face bagel when you can thinly slice rings? Also, we ordered another bagel with avocado and cream cheese. One side came with avocado, and the other side came with cream cheese. So strange. Shouldn't it be bagel topped with cream cheese topped with avocado? The service was awesome though! Stopped to get some cold brew. The barista was extremely rude and was rolling her eyes at our request. The funny thing about it was we were just asking for something that one of the other baristas created for us the first time we went there. I feel that they need consistency among there baristas. Consistency in the beverages that they make and consistency regarding how they address their customers. My first experience there was great. Very knowledgeable barista with a great attitude.
