This McDonald's is one of the OG McD's in Newnan. It sits at the corner of Bullsboro and Greison Trail in the Kroger plaza. This location has an indoor playplace, which is hard to come by these days with fast food chains, as when they update or remodel...that is the first thing to go! I have been to this location countless times over the last 20+ years and while I can never remember a time where the food was terrible or wrong, I do remember many times where the service was both. I always have to keep in mind that I come here for the fries, not the service. A few things to note about this location is that they are always busy...especially the drive thru. Does not matter what time of day you come, be prepared to wait! Due to this, it is not the cleanest of locations, as you will almost always find trash strewn on the floor and in the parking lot. Overall, this McDonald's has been holding it down in Newnan for a long time. While I frequent McD's a lot less now than I did in my younger days, this location is still a viable option when I visit the family and they want that Big Mac and them fries! read more

This Mcdonald's has an employee that works in the early morning hours at the second window in the drive thru and she's incredibly rude. Make sure to check your bag before you leave the window because they have not once gotten our order correct. They do not answer the phones and will argue with you if you let someone know that you have something missing from your order. Also, even if you ordered ketchup at the drive thru speaker or even on the mobile app, they will refuse to give you even one packet for a $20 order. I discovered this McD's thanks to a local toddler group when moving to the area recently. It's become a fave for taking my kids due to the large enclosed play area. Where I came from I spent a lot of time in Chick Fil A due to their play areas. They're fantastic for bigger kids but I couldn't let my toddler roam free without being in the same play area as her. Here I can grab food and let her and her big sis run wild knowing they're enclosed and safe. It doesn't seem dirty. Could the staff be more friendly? Sure. I can't imagine working for McDs is glamorous and fun, so I just try to be a little extra friendly with them and smile and thank them and be kind as I'm sure not everyone is. I haven't had any issues with my food the several times we've been here. And the staff I have encountered have been kind when they're not busy and stressed out. So overall, for kids I'd definitely recommend this location! PS I also love the music station that plays! read more

I came here sometime three months ago and they were having staffing issues; it took 45 minutes to get through the drive through and they didn't even have my order placed once I got to the pick up window. There were like 3 kids and a manager on duty. A couple days ago I thought maybe the staffing issue wasn't a problem anymore (I mean, it's been three months) so I went for a late night meal and once I got home went to bite into my burger and it was perfectly raw. Well they are definitely under staffed especially at the lunch hour...the drive thru is wrapped around the building. The dining room is backed up and when you do get your order in you have the confusion of everyone walking all over everyone back in the back. It took 11 mins to get an order of med. fries. Then they didn't have an salt on them. While we waited, watched the staff member carry the tea from the back to the dining area without a lid. Then when putting the lid on, it fell inside...didn't start over just pulled it out and placed on top...Glad I don't drink tea now. read more

If I could have selected a zero I would. This has to be the worst McDonalds on the planet. Staff was clueless as well as the managers. The guy in the back making burgers didn't have a hairnet or even a cap to keep his nasty dreadlock hair from getting on the food he was making. After 30 minutes we finally got our food and it was totally wrong. Fries were unsalted! I watched the manager get the fries from the fryer and dump them and no salt. So if the managers don't care why would the employees??? When leaving a manager came outside to smoke (at the entrance door) then threw here cigarette down on the ground and headed in while blowing her last puff inside the restaurant. The food wasn't bad today about typical for McDonalds. The issue I'm having here is that there is a puddle of soda in the playground an no one has cleaned it up. We have been here for about an hour and it was here when we got here. I did a mobile order, picked up my food and went back home just to find they didn't give me everything I paid for and they added mustard, onions, cheese, and pickles to a McChicken sandwich. I went there, explained the situation. Me and the guy laugh as I show him the sandwich and he tells me to let them know at the other window. Great, I go to next window. These are the only people who can turn their own mistake worse! Just disrespectful and unprofessional. Thank goodness they have a decent manager and hopefully she can correct these issues. Went through the drive thru . I was helped right away. However , I ordered one meal and said one second please and the lady immediately said continue with the order. I just ordered something quickly because I felt pressured although there were no cars behind me in the line at all. Then before I could add anything additional on to my order, she snapped back with "drive forward". She didn't ask if that completed my order etc . So I finally give in to my son because he has been begging to get a happy meal and play on the playground. I finally have said, never again, will I walk into this place. We all know that the Golden Arches takes a lot of crap for their piss poor service and untrained employees. This is all true, so they deserve everything they get. However, at this location, incompetent takes on a whole new meaning. The night supervisor was walking around bitching to and about virtually everyone and everything. What I heard was: Turn off that French fry. Why didn't you clean the tables? And so it went for the 30 minutes I was there. I can put up with the wrong food, which they always fix, and long waits but having a supervisor walking around screaming is just too much. So I didn't realize this particular McD's had a Yelp Review until now, but this is from a couple of months ago, but I'm sure these things are still happening today. First of all, I went in there with my family to get dinner, we ordered fairly quickly which was a surprise, but nonetheless we waited for about 20 minutes for our food. While we were waiting I kid you not, two of the employees start arguing and yelling at each other, yelling insults and cursing, all around literal children in their lobby. They eventually took a few swings at each other before a manager FINALLY stepped in. When we did get our food after this "fight" we left because my parents weren't even comfortable eating in the dining area anymore. Also when we picked up our order and left, it was completely wrong. I firmly believe that the ONLY reason this McDonald's remains open is it's 24 hour, and there isn't another one for miles. It is impossible to get through the drive-thru in less than 10 minutes no matter what time of day or night you try. The employees are indifferent at best and incompetent at worst. I pulled in this afternoon and ordered 2 Egg McMuffins. They took my money in 1 minute. Got to the pick-up window, and it was "Please pull into spot #1 and your order will be right out". Obviously, this is some new usage of "right out" of which I am unfamiliar, because 15 minutes later, I am still sitting there despite several employees wandering up to the car and asking if I had ordered X. "No, 2 Egg McMuffins." "Oh.... OK", and they wander off. Finally, I go inside. The drone behind the counter (coincidentally one of the folks that wandered past outside) looks at me like I'm interfering with his nap and says "2 Egg McMuffins?" "Why yes, how nice of you to remember." He grabs them off the warmer, I drive away, aaand... they're screwed them up. You not 4 ingredients in the thing, and they've forgotten the meat. I really hope no one ordered a quarter pounder from here at around 6:30 PM on March 5, because if so you may be joining myself and my husband in the food poisoning club. We ordered burgers, got home, I took a few bites and it was raw and completely uncooked just pink and mushy on the interior. Been throwing up all night. He took it back and the Manager at first had an attitude about giving a refund and said no refund. She closed her mouth real quick when she saw how raw the burgers were. Then said oops our grill wasn't working properly and offered somew new ones. Heck no. I might be off meat from how disgusted we are. This is such a safety hazard. Two nights ago I came and approached the counter at 10:38 PM. They told me the dining room was closed and they just had not locked the doors. "You close the dining room at 11 and it's not 11." This McDonalds has the worst customer service from the staff to the managers. The frappe machine is always "down" or "being cleaned" or "down" Right after "being cleaned" the employees will straight up lie to you in drive through about the frappe machine and you'll see the people inside getting them. The drive thru time doesn't matter if your customers aren't getting what they come to McDonald's for. Definitely won't be back and urge everyone else to do the same until they get their act together. read more
