My coworkers and I dined in for lunch, and I was truly blown away by this Chick-fil-A experience!!! The Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich I had here was the best one I've had yet at Chick-fil-A! It was so fun to dine in, and the service was impeccable. Everyone was super friendly, made sure we were okay on refills or taking plates to make more room. The food was brought out quickly. When we asked "what was special about this Chick-fil-A", we were given a run down of the Truett's Chick-fil-A locations. These are named after the founder, S. Truett Cathy. Each of them have a different concept. (One of them has a luau theme, with special pineapple drinks and other items). This one in terms of decor didn't quite have a specific concept, but a lot of the photos and decor were memorabilia, old pictures of the owner's family, and of things he liked, like the train that ran along a track close to the ceiling, and was set up diner-style. The Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich was so juicy, crunchy, just the right amount of spice, with dill pickle, fresh lettuce, tomato, and pepper jack cheese. It came with two sides, so I ordered the sweet potato souffle and brussel sprouts. The sweet potato souffle was AMAZING. I was not expecting it to be that good!! It is a must try! It was sweet and had crunchy pieces of crust, so it was like a deconstructed sweet potato pie. The brussels were also good, nothing special to them but cooked well - it's great to dip in chick-fil-a sauce! We also got loaded fries to share, and they were also so good. We devoured them within 3 minutes!!! It was made of waffle fries, cheese, bacon bits, pieces of chicken. SO good. This Truetts/Chick Fil A is off of exit 74 from I-85 in Newnan. This is a very high traffic area and the restaurant may be a tad difficult to locate from the main road, especially in traffic. They are closed on Sundays. The location is beautiful from the outside, it looks newly built. I interacted with several staff and they were all pleasant. The drive thru line was extremely long, but they have a well organized flow. It was almost like a ground crew at an airport. Very efficient. My order was fresh and correct. read more

This Chick-fil-A in Newnan was my first ever experience at a Dwarf House. It's one of over a dozen Dwarf Houses in metro Atlanta. It's located on Highway 34 E / Bullsboro Dr right off of I-85 exit 47 (SR 34 - Newnan, Peachtree City). People have told me about Dwarf Houses and I've passed them before, but I never really thought about what makes them different from a regular Chick-fil-A besides having the cartoonish Dwarf House facade out front. A Dwarf House is like a regular Chick-fil-A store except it also has a full-service, sit-down dining room with an expanded menu. Our experience in the dining room here reminded me a lot of an American chain diner like Denny's. What's funny about the Dwarf House is you can get the same old Chick-fil-A items such as the chicken sandwich and waffle fries, but instead of being served in bags, they are presented nicely on plates with an additional side such as a garden salad. Ooh, fancy. (There's been a similar concept applied to McDonald's in Japan except at a fine dining level.) What's interesting are the dishes exclusive to the sit-down menu. They include items like a grilled cheese sandwich, ham & cheese sandwich, 5 oz. brisket burger ($12.25), and 10 oz. ribeye ($15.99 for a platter); Southern sides like baked potato, mac & cheese, green beans, coleslaw, field peas, corn bread, sweet potato souffle, and collard greens; and desserts like fried pies (apple, peach, sweet potato). They also serve Southern-style breakfasts all day (biscuits only until 10:30am though) and offer a breakfast buffet on Saturday morning. We decided to go with a couple items we can't get at a regular Chick-fil-A: * Fried Chicken Melt Platter ($10.65) - fried chicken topped with melted cheese and smothered onions with a side of baked potato and additional fried okra (+$2.15) * Hot Brown ($9.15) - chopped chicken, cream sauce, cheddar cheese, paprika, and bacon with a side of fried okra The Fried Chicken Melt Platter actually wasn't on the menu. We modified what was on the menu, the Grilled Chicken Melt Platter, and made it unhealthier by subbing in fried chicken for grilled chicken. It was delicious -- Chick-fil-A's classic fried chicken topped with cheese, fried onions, and crispy, buttered toast. Mmm... I was curious about the Hot Brown after our server described it in stunningly accurate detail. She warned us that it was a little "funky" and customers either love it or hate it. You can put me in the camp closer to the latter. From the picture, the Hot Brown looks like grits, but it's not. It's a cheesy, creamy sauce. The chopped chicken is just that. Boneless, skinless... boiled? Ehh... It certainly was hot (temperature hot) and brown (I supposed), but I didn't really dig the flavor nor texture. There was also one slice of toast cut into 4 triangles and 2 strips of bacon. The sides (fried okra, baked potato) were average for a chain restaurant. Service was great. Our server's name was Destiny and she was sweet and friendly. Service is one of the best things about Chick-fil-A in general. We took our ticket to the register when we were done and the receipt (I paid with credit card) had a tip line for the server, which you don't see at a regular Chick-fil-A of course. If I eat at a Dwarf House again, I'll definitely order something other than the Hot Brown. read more

Always reliable for a quick and great meal! This CFA in particular is cool as it also has table service, counter service and unique menu items. It's a little off the highway, but worth it. This is a Truett's Grill, which is an old-style Chick-fil-A. It is half sit down cafe with servers and a menu including platters with unique meals. In the front they have a regular counter restaurant to the front. The decorating of the buildings are that are a reproduction from the 50's with high ceilings and small tiles every where. Real wood doors with smoke glass and stenciled lettering. It even has a small red exterior door just for the kids. I love this place! As always, you enter a business that is spotless where lots of workers are available to direct and point you where to go. Lines move quick and you're treated with the highest level of respect. This place is ran like a military chow hall-only the food is better. It's tight, spotless, the food is excellent and the workers are trained to a precise level of competency that is unmatched in the fast food world. This is the standard by which all others are trying to reach. Happiness and deliciousness all well saying "it's my pleasure." I had a wrap with a large Lemonade. Both were the best in the business. My bride had the regular Chicken sandwich, fruit cup and large lemonade. Folks, they nailed our service, food and treatment. They get us! Met our every need, want, and desire. I could suddenly become an author and write a book on how great this palace of chicken is, but long story short, if you are ever in Newnan and you want to immerse yourself in a one of a kind experience, do not look elsewhere but here! Since my work team and I started working here at Newnan, we visited this restaurant the most by far, and yes yes there are other options, but there are reasons for that. First off, go through the small red door to begin your experience, then you'll have the option to have full-service dining or just casual dining (gasp). We have always chosen to have a waiter, and it is well worth! The menu consists of everything in a regular restaurant, but there are many southern favorites in addition to the regular menu. Everything I've had tasted wonderful. I've tried many sides, but by far the Brussels Sprouts sent me to heaven and back so many times! The food is essentially the reason why you'll want to come here, but the service and atmosphere are definitely above an average Chick Fil A! The service here has been extremely consistent every time I come in, and you'll never have to wait an unreasonable time for your food! The atmosphere is very bright and very southern like (as you expect), and it is always clean and fresh the second you walk inside! Chick Fil A is known for it's wholesome food and consistent service, and you get all that, plus more at Truett's!
