HORRIBLE customer service, EXTREMELY POOR management!! Not only did she lie about being the manager there, she did not even try to resolve the issue. She barely spoke English and was extremely rude!!! The food was not even good this or the last time around. No manners or respect from all the young workers here. All of them do whatever they can to ruin your experience here. They will charge you for an extra sauce for your kid's nuggets. One very cold day, the teenager at the pickup window held my bag of food out of the window full arm's length, I had to motion to him to put his arm back into the building unless he wanted to lose it. Set up a pick up order at 1:07pm for lunch in the pouring rain and wind. They had me waiting outside and getting soaking wet. I called outside on my cell phone, and started walking away. It was then that someone came out and asked me to come back 15 minutes later. The drive thru wasn't even busy. No longer a regular customer at this location. I'll pay more and support a smaller deli. Alright, now I know everyone's been to at least one McDonald's. This is one of the good one's. The staff is polite. The restaurant is clean. And fries are almost always hot and fresh. My wife spent the summer of her freshman year working at this one and she verified there is nothing disgusting going on here. (Not sure if I can say same for the one in Wallingford). The orginal McRib was a work of legend, and is sorely missed (Its why it made the rib list) Last but not least, apparently pregnant ladies love McD's French Fries and this is the only one she trusts :-) (Though have to admit the one on Univerisal Drive is also on quite an upswing!) Horrible from top to bottom. Too much to list. The franchise owner is directly to blame. He will fight tooth and nail to not even put a darn pickle on a burger. Yes, it happens all the time. He literally said "it saves money". Those are the same words he said when I asked for a receipt (on a different visit). No receipts- "I save money on paper and ink". No sir, you are doing two things: You are not allowing the customer to complete the McDonalds survey of our visit to your location and you are then not honoring the free food that will result from completing the survey. I've lived in town 50 years. This is a relatively new owner. He has ruined this location. He's rude, arrogant and should never represent or be the face of any McDonalds franchise. It's McDonalds, what's the big rave about? One cannot rate them on the basis of their taste, the same generic fast food offered at each of their franchises, but it's worth mentioning that this location is always clean. Staff friendly and the general atmosphere of this place is just calm and relaxing, have yet to be faced with rowdy kids or things of that sort. read more

I am a regular costumer and usually don't have any complaints, but today had a really bad experience. I order my food through drive thru and once I got to my office and open up the bag I see a different sandwich than what I ordered. Not good for me since I like having breakfast early in the morning. I clearly stated eggs whites with white cheese on a plain toasted bagel with butter.. I swear when I saw that folded yellow egg and that yellow cheese totally ruined my morning honestly nothing pissed me more than getting ready to eat my food and is not how I wanted it.... Now I'm stuck with this sandwich until 10:00 before I could go change it ... poor customer service today... beyond mad right now read more

I really don't know how this McDonald's has continued to operate. In my experience, they almost always get the order wrong, especially in the drive-thru (yes, Joe Pesci's rant from Lethal Weapons 2&4 come to mind.) Make sure you check everything before you leave the window, even if the car behind you is leaning on the horn. If you're ordering a Happy Meal for your kid, find out what toy they'll be getting, or you may get an older one your child has and a story about being to trade it in, unopened. Most McDonald's honor such, but this one fights you tooth & nail to avoid the trade-in, later. Additionally, this is one of the newer, non-kid-friendly McDonald's, designed in the "cafe" style, as if they've graduated from fast food. Drive-through order, had to wait a bit for it but I wouldn't have minded if we had gotten all of our order. They forgot a burger (which we still got charged for) and sweet teas were NOT sweet at all. (Also fries had obviously been sitting there for a while and didn't have much salt on them) Couldn't go inside to fix it cause we were in a hurry to get home (hence why we went through the drive-through.) read more

Really nice McDonalds restaurant. Fireplace with tv above it at the center of the seating area. Much nicer than most franchise locations. I love fast food on occasion, and if I'm in range, this is where I go. The restaurant is clean, the service is friendly, and the food is hot. Also, the family who owns it are wonderful people. They are always contributing to the community, offering their venue to local schools and teams. I love supporting them by using this restaurant. read more

Today I went thru the drivethru and order 2 breakfast sandwiches and a 2 chicken tender piece. When I got to the the window I asked to add a 6 piece tender also. Nice cashier said no problem, I went second window and was asked to pull up and wait, no problem. Someone came out and gave me a bag and went inside while I was checking it. There wasn't a 6 piece. The drive thru was very long so my friend said I'll run in. The manager said there was no way he would miss that and insisted that he gave it to us and soon got the attention of other gusted saying she was a liar. He said to go get the bag that it came in, his defense was what size the order came in that he gave it to us. Then when presented the bag he said well this doesn't help! So rude and disrespectful. He finally did give us what we paid for, but told my friend to not come back even though she remained calm the whole time and wasn't the one who made the scene.
