We come through this McDonald's almost daily. We usually get drinks but on occasion get sandwiches, fries, and McFlurries. None have ever been wrong in our four months or patronage. The employees are always polite, quick, and helpful. There has never been a problem there either. We do a lot of curbside and they usually deliver to the car in under five minutes. The store is a typical McDonalds. The bathrooms have been clean any time I've used them. There is a lot of garbage outside but that has nothing to do with this store. read more

By far one of the worse and slowest McDonalds I have ever been to. The drive-thru operator needs a position change!! Sidel is his name, so it says it on my receipt. Unprofessional and he talks like hes asleep! Today I have time to make this post for him. I get up to the window, I get no greet! Tells me to "hold on" as every other visit I have at this mcdonalds. I drive up just to see him cleaning a shelf while 2 other women are talking to him. The immediate need to help me was gone. He gets done and turns around and tells me, "We got a lot of cleaning we have to do" and Im looking at him and tell him "You sure picked the right time to do it! The sarcasm went over his head and he continued to clean the shelf. There was another moment last week where I sat in the drive thru line for 15-20 minutes. If I could rate this store 0/10 I would. I came in a couple days ago and placed a small order in the lobby- 1 fish fillet meal nothing crazy. It took them OVER FORTY FIVE MINUTES to bring it out to me because they were only making drive thru orders. I asked for a refund because I didn't have time to wait any longer but the manager Anna refused and got attitude with me. I was very polite, I simply wanted my money back without the meal because I couldn't keep waiting. She was extremely rude and hurt my feelings and I can't help but wonder if it was a race issue because she had absolutely no reason to take the tone she did and say what she said. The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. We went inside thinking it would be quicker than the long line of the drive thru. The dude working the register did not seem to understand me. I wanted to order three meals. After I read the first order he checked me out without even asking if I was done. I let that go. My card is linked to the app so it kept automatically just charging my card without me having to tap. I specifically told him don't check me out until I let you know that I'm done. I put my next order in and he immediately checks me out a second time. I then ask for the manager and let her know what is happening. She asks me "Do you want some free fries or something?" I was not on the hunt for free fries. However, I was very annoyed that I paid Taxes three separate times on one order. We'll never go here again. read more

This place is very disgusting I ordered a $5 chicken meal with a large unsweetened iced tea and there were eggs at the bottom of my drink. I went in there and the lady told me it was Splenda so I called another employee over and he looked and had no response. She said we don't have pest issues so what are you talking about and you can clearly see breakfast eggs in this cup. This completely grossed me out. I always ask for the simplest thing and these people never fail to fuck up . Honestly I see it on the paper no mayonnaise yet boom in my meal I have two hot and spicy mcChickens splattered with mayonnaise . The McDonalds in North Highlands on Watt Ave across the street from the Golden Corral hasn't even started to reopen like other businesses. You can go inside for pickup or to order, there isn't any dine in service and the restrooms are still closed off. The other day I say one of the employees on break and I asked her the the reason. She stated that the dine in was closed since they make more money from staying and just doing pick up, lobby orders, and drive-thru. I can understand that the lobby is closed right now due to renovation. This is ridiculous since McDonalds is putting the customer last due to the dollar sign. We had been to the McClelland Aerospace Museum in the morning and we were dying for something to eat after we left. Had to pull over at the first McDonald's we could find, it was kind of an emergency. Much to our astonishment the quarter pounder royale with cheese knocked our socks off!! It was hot, dripping with juices, and quite tasty. The pickles were crisp and the cheese was heavy and melted. My wife said this was the best quarter pounder she's had in her life. The fries were also salted perfectly. If you too are lucky enough to experience a sighting of this Shangri-La of the fast food world, you will experience a quarter pounder like no other. read more

Love this location. Really close from my house. Always nice people. You can drink two coffees or three then the Starbucks worth. It is almost on the same level of quality. But you get more from McDonald's. You can customize orders and play around with ingredients. We went inside to make sure we received the correct order and boy we were wrong. Ordered from the kiosk waited close to 15 minutes. Several items missing. When we brought this to Robert's attention he stated there's no way you ordered that item before looking at the receipt to verify or concern. Considering how much this worker is paid, I'd expect better customer service without the attitude. And forget ordering Mc flurry with extra topping cause they charge you but don't add the ingredients. I bet this location is scamming thousands of dollars from patrons. I don't eat at McDonald's often, because I don't really like it, but when I'm at a low point, I do and I don't want it to suck. They had me pay $0.30 each for a single leaf of lettuce on the side and two tomatoes. Then, they left my fries underdone instead of well done. I'm from out of town passing through, and saw the arches, so I stopped. I probably shouldn't have though. Once I parked I realized it wasn't in the best part of town, and that it wasn't the best Mickey's Dee's. The service was really welcoming, the decor was outdated, their bathrooms were decent, but what really got me was the food. I understand McDonald's is not gourmet, but the breakfast sandwich I got, tasted almost burnt and definitely not fresh. The fries were extra greasy, not your typical fresh, crunchy ,salty fries. The biggest downfall is the coke. Everyone knows the Coke is the best at McDonald's, and as such was my deciding factor for going there over the KFC and Taco Bell next door. However, they had run out of coke or it was broken, so yet another disappointment. I hope this Mickey's Dee's gets a face lift soon, and I hope that maybe my food experience here was a jinx, but I won't be coming back to find out. read more

The munchkin and I love to dine inside of this MickeyDees. Why? Fries, a shake, and free wifi. It gets no better. We flip open our laptops, and have a blast eating such naughty treats and giggling watching kitties and barn owls on YouTube. From time to time there are homeless people that wander in to use the bathroom, but there are a lot of male workers at this location, so my daughter and I feel pretty safe. Not sure if McDonald's restaurants need reviews, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to write about my experience at this particular location. My co-workers and I came to this McDonald's after seeing an advertisement about their new Quarter Pounder burgers and how they were promoting them at $1/each for 3 days. We were sold! Lunch for a couple bucks?!?! I know I probably just took a couple YEARS off my lifespan, but I'm more into instant gratification anyway, and a cheap deal for a full belly seemed to interest me despite the consequences I would reap later on down the road. Unfortunately, this (and probably any other one I would have rated) McDonald's gets 3 stars for uncomfortable seating, an overcrowded dining area and a so-so burger. I do appreciate how you can still by any sized soda for $1. And even better, they sell "senior" sodas, so my co-worker took advantage of his age and got a soda for only $0.65! Shot out to the seniors!!!! The plus side to this particular location: I admire their willingness to hire employees with special needs. There was a man with special needs busting his chops to keep the beverage area clean, wiping down the splatters, crevices between the soda machine and self-serve condiments bar, and he seemed to take pride and conscious effort in his work and desire to keep the place looking spotless! I have no complaints about the food but I frequently use the mobile app to save time, & the last 3 times I've come here to pick up my order during the evening and I've been double charged. I normally pay through the app but the drive-thru worker (it's always the same person) always says "the payment didn't go through" and asks for my card. Granted, I'm only spending $1 but nevertheless a customer should never be charged double. The night shift manager needs to make sure the cashier is properly trained. I tried to call to rectify the situation but was on hold for 20 minutes so opted to let it go because it's only $1. Regardless of convenience, I'm going to lessen my visits to this location because of the ongoing mistake I keep experiencing. read more

Stopped here as a pit stop on the way home from Reno. I've been to many McDonald's and this one is pretty clean and nicely remodeled. My father ordered the Mc Rib, they made the transaction and everything; however, they told him that they ran out of them. Although this may seem like a bad time, the manager happily compensated him with any other burger which I would not see at any locations near my house. The speaker is broken I could not hear a thing. I asked for medium sugar free vanilla iced coffee. They gave me large size with no syrup. I double check with them and they told me that they put six pumps of the syrup. However I know how it is supposed to taste. These particular coffee has no syrup at all. As McDonald's go, the store is clean and the service reasonably fast (on par with other such establishments). Enjoyed their one-at-a-time lid dispenser. Can get a bit crowded after softball games, it seems; it's halfway between the fields behind the old McClellan AFB along Freedom Park and the interstate. read more

This place is terrible. They messed up my order when I asked for two sausage mcmuffins and only gave me one. It was the biggest pain trying to explain the mistake for them to fix it and then they messed up two of my other friends orders. There are flies everywhere in here and it's not sanitary in the least.
