The person taking my order messed up my order and I had to correct it at the window. I'm guessing the employees got mad I "changed" my order at the window and gave me these for fries with spread on them. I clarified 3 times I wanted fries with spread, and this is what I got. The disrespect is unacceptable

We just love In and Out the flavors, the smells, the taste. This location is just in am odd spot. In the same parking lot is a very popular chicken sandwich spot. Customers turn into the shopping center by In and Out..then sit there blocking the entrance. Everyone is always hopeful and friendly

Food is always fresh delicious and wonderful. Service employees is exceptional sometimes beyond.. location however it is not the best as far as traffic. It's right off the highway. This is super busy and you're out quicker. Specially, the weekends expect to wait it moves but expect to wait. The environment ambience they give her one star just because it's so crowded and busy. It's better to eat in your car and get out.

I ordered a Flying Dutchman burger have hearing a popular Podcaster rave about it. Ideal for those on a keto diet. Basically two patties, 2 cheese and slices of grilled onions as the bun. Messy to eat but tasty. What impressed me more is they now have pink lemonade made with Stevia and sugar-free as well as sugar sweetened pink lemonade. Next time I may order a protein burger which uses lettuce instead of bread bun. It's great they recognize low carb dieters. Another plus is the fountain drink bar free refills, I just wish they had a bigger selection of zero-sugar sodas. Still in enjoy dining here and definitely will return. Prices are very fair. GOOD JOB!

Quality/Quantity - Four burgers and two fries today. Double Double Protein Style Burger - My daughter is so healthy, LOL. Double Double Cheese Burger. And two cheese burgers. See pictures. My daughter said these were some of the best In N Out fries she has had in a long time. Also of decent quantity. Atmosphere - Consistent with the brand. As usual, crazy busy. Such a large team working so hard in the kitchen, see picture. One person was cleaning the dining area and bathrooms, but he was losing the fight... Drive thru, be we prefer to walk in and order as we feel it is faster. And help for better Yelp pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10:30am to 1am or 1:30 am the next day. Limited small parking lot, but we parked in the lot next door and walked. Service - Good, quicker than most In N Outs. Price - $26; inexpensive. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1948 with your 387+ locations and still keeping it within the family!! Thanks for keeping it simple and good!

This location does a great job with my orders. I've never had an issue and I've been coming here for years. Food always comes out hot and fresh. The staff are really friendly and I love chatting with them when it's not too busy. The drive-thru line usually moves at a steady pace, but sometimes it can be slow. When the line is very long, it can get backed up to the freeway off ramp, or it interferes with the congestion around Chick-fil-A. There's plenty of parking available in front of the building and in front of the hotel nearby. If you're dining-in at night, it can be a little difficult finding some seating. It feels like you're waiting forever for the food. It's also pretty loud inside, which is why I more often than not take my food to-go.

First time here and I am impressed. Good burger and fresh potato fries. The burger crew pulled out all the stops. They were dapper and sailed a tight ship. I was happy to be onboard. We ate inside as the drive through line was quite long. The inside was very clean and lively. Well done Sacramento. Would come back

What's not to say that hasn't been said about "In-N-Out Burger" other than they've always been consistently a west coast fan favorite going way back to the 1950's. The location I am focusing on is their Madison/I-80 one that has been operating strongly ever since 2008. This location is quite the ideal one since it covers a very broad geographical area; mainly Foothill Farms, Carmichael, Fair Oaks, North Highlands, and Citrus Heights. The location itself can get very busy during all hours of the day and evening and with the addition of a neighboring "Chick-Fil-A" that arrived in 2016, it can be chaotic just trying to get in and out of there (pun was intended on that one). I've probably been to this particular location at least a few dozen times (I live just a couple miles from here in Citrus Heights) and find myself utilizing their drive-thru (which this one is quite efficient) as well as dining inside. As many have mentioned, their menu is simple yet very affordable. You get your choices of a Hamburger, Cheeseburger, or Double-Double complete with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions (raw or grilled), and their signature secret sauce. Salt, pepper, mustard, and green chili peppers are available upon request. You can also get fries cooked to your preference; regular, crispy, no-salt, or Animal Style w/grilled onions and secret sauce. Then of course you can get their handmade milkshakes (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, or swirl), fountain drinks, milk, coffee, and hot cocoa. I will say this and I am not being an advocate for In-N-Out but having come to their locations going back to the mid-1990's, they have always consistently been one of the better fast food places I've eaten at. Not just because their food is fresh and made to order but the level of customer service, hospitality, and overall ambiance is quite rewarding. Their employees are paid a fair wage (above minimum wage) while they offer excellent health insurance for their full-time staff and upper management. With that said and done, I am giving the Madison/I-80 "In-N-Out Burger" an above average 4-star rating. When it comes to my favorite fast food places (which I don't visit frequently), In-N-Out ranks at the top followed by The Habit, Five Guys, Smashburger, and McDonald's. And I will say that the food at In-N-Out hits differently; probably because of the spongy soft bun combined with the seasoned meat patty and secret sauce. Many have tried to replicate it but will never duplicate it.

The fries were actually pretty good, an above average standard French fry with salt. The burger however was phenomenal. There was an amazing crust on the outside reminiscent of a backyard bbq. There was ample bacon, lettuce, cheese and sauce to make it a balanced bite. The bun was high end brioche style, they really went all out on quality of ingredients.
