I used to love McDonald's and but now I have to control my non-HDL and blood pressure so other than coffee I'm limited to the very rare occasion. On this occasion I was returning from a dinner hosted by some Anglo-Protestant White friends. Ethnic attitudes towards seasoning and serving size are important context for my holiday late night hunger on the Interstate. My first Big Mac in two years (didn't hold the Christian holiday last year due to the Pandemic) was as delicious as it is unhealthy and irresponsible for the planet. The only other walk in customer kept his distance, the staff had their masks up over their faces, though they didn't seem to be washing their hands with soap. The drive through line was around the store but seemed to be moving fast. It was a pleasant evening so I ate outside at one of their nice picnic tables. It was the only fast food joint open at this otherwise busy intersection. Based on my two visits in two years I'd say this place is okay for the rare guilty pleasure. I'd be a bigger fan if they made a Big Mac using Impossible Burgers like they've done with the Whopper at Burger King, so next year I might make it Burger King if I can find one nearby that's open late. Maybe not. I have a year to figure it out. read more

I would give zero stars if it was possible, but I guess we have to give one. It's a sad state when you hire people who do not know how to count to 4, 6, or 10. I would never normally waste my time or breath to write a review for McDonalds, but this has happened multiple times at this location. I ordered a 10 piece nuggets, and there were 8 nuggets in the package. Two weeks ago, we ordered a 6 piece nuggets, and there were 5 nuggets in the package. Now I know you don't need a masters degree to work here, but by golly you would think you would know how to count to 10 to work here. Even the manager on duty didn't know how to recount. And they refused to make it right or give your money back for their mistakes. All they had to do was give me the missing nuggets that I PAID FOR, but they refused. They acted like I was the problem. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in any fast food restaurants in Oak Creek. I waited over 30 minutes for a 20 piece chicken McNuggets and French fries. The worst part was there were 6 customers who ordered after me and received their food first. This is unacceptable! read more

It's McDonald's guys, you know what to expect here! It's open late which is a huge plus. Forget to consume food while out drinking? You shouldn't be driving! Make your sober friend take you here for a bite to eat and sit by the fireplace as you enjoy a burger and watch tv. Heck, get some fries too. I've been here very late some nights, I'm not ashamed. They have the best food of all the McD's in the area. I practically lived here when I plowed snow for many a long winter, so I can vouch for it. They staff have always been friendly and service is rarely ever slow in my experience. They are right off the freeway, so if it was a pokey place no one would go here. The drive through is always hopping. Clean. It's a word not often associated with a fast food joint but I will boast it here. The staff are always on top of things. Clean tables, clean soda fountain area, clean bathrooms. It's not a gross place to pop in for a bite to eat. Something I have noticed recently is that it's become a little bit of a hangout. Many people on laptops, reading the paper, even playing games in a group. I think its pretty cool that it's become a safe place to just chill out and enjoy a snack/meal. read more

Terrible service at all time lobby closed without warning whenever they feel they don't want to work.

This McDonald's has 2 drive thru speakers. We pulled up to one and waited for the car at the other one to get done ordering. That car drove up, we expected someone to take our order next. We sat there about a minute saying "hello" then another car pulled up to the other speaker and they get service right away. We're still waiting. The second car pulls up to the window. We're still sitting and waiting. We started saying "Hello" into the speaker again. A girl then took our order. The only thing we ordered was a medium coke. We pull up. We pay, get our coke at the second window and it's a diet coke. The inside is closed due to construction so we drive back around and wait in drive thru again. Considering the fact that they weren't at all busy and we only ordered a coke, this shouldn't have taken so long. McDonald's is always hit or miss with order correctness and speed as well as paying attention to what their doing. We don't expect the best service here however, this was worse than expected. I gave 2 stars because the staff was friendly and corrected our order without hesitation. read more

Went over to get my adult happy meal. I asked if I could get a Hi-C, apparently wasn't applicable towards it. Then I asked for a water, specifically tap water from the machine, they said they can only do Dasani. I was forced to only basically get a soda and some others. I got my food and my fries felt like rubber and cold. Everything else was good but it felt like a restricted experience for my drink. read more

My burger was cold, the service was slow and rude (she didn't even look at people while they ordered), she didn't help anyone until her manager directed her over to each person otherwise she just stared at the screen, even when people were in line. She messed up the order giving my husband just a burger when he ordered a meal. The only good thing: fresh fries. read more

Makes you go back through the drive through for sauce your willing to pay for at the window despite waiting 15 minutes "fresh fries" and mcdoubles when you ordered double cheeseburgers. read more

Typical McD's food, quick and inexpensive. As reviewed by others English was the primary language of the staff which is getting to be a rarity. On the other hand the staff on a Saturday night is more concerned with chatting with their friends hanging around the counter than getting paying customers orders correct, and then being insolent when you correct them. Plenty of other McD's around so won't be back to this one. read more

Yesterday I called about a mistake they've made. Mind you, I took my mom here on Saturday after taking her to the lake for some cheering up over her mom passing. My mom also have diabetes. So I took her to McDonalds for a bit of food and to also feed my 2yr old. After dropping off my mom, she told me her big mac had no sauce on it. Neither did mine. However, I requested on one big mac very little sauce and sauce on the side. It didn't work out that way. So I thought no big deal. I'll call them when after my husband's bday party. When I call the manager was rude, speaking to me as if I was making it up. All I could think of was how unprofessional. She kept pushing for the receipt, which I didn't have at the moment of driving. I also don't live on that side of town. Then it dawned on me that maybe she's racist. I never like saying that but I've noticed the different treatment. I'm very disappointed!! I used to go here often when we lived closer. She seems like a manager that overheads the employees whom don't like her much because of her treatment to others.
