I ordered breakfast at McDonald's Old Fort location this morning. The biscuits measure at 3 inches diameter. I would be ashamed to serve this to my customer much let alone charge for them. Working at McDonald's might not be the best job there is but it is your job. You should take pride in your work and do a good job. Will not be back. read more

After a previous bad experience, against my better judgment, I gave this McDonald's another try. We ordered plain iced coffee-- they served hot. My husband asked for the iced coffee; he was instructed to get ice and pour the hot coffee over it. I went back to the register and asked for the iced coffee. Attendant #1 tried to argue with me and said the order was hot coffee. Attendant #2, the manager in the red tshirt, stepped over and complained that I was asking for the order to be corrected. She called for two plain iced coffees and said that she hopes we f--king choke and die on them. All in all I'd say this place is 100% out of control. I have a lovely recording of this experience so I'll be reminded to avoid this location. read more

The lobby was closed and Amanda the manager would t let us in. She said they were understaffed. It took more time to tell me than to just let me in. No one was around. We were paying customers. Our order was also wrong. We ordered two 10 piece nuggets and one quarter pounder without onions. We got two quarter pounders with onions and one 10 piece that only had eight nuggets. I am a travel nurse and I stop for coffee on average 3-5 mornings per week and prefer McDonalds coffee over any other brand. I have visited multiple McDonalds locations across the state. On the morning of Wednesday July 5, 2023 I stopped at the McDonalds location at I-40 at Bat Cave Road, Old Fort NC 28762 to get coffee before heading to work. The young lady at the 2nd window handed me the cup of coffee but before I could sit the coffee cup into the cup holder the lid came off the coffee cup and the hot coffee spilled onto my right thigh. I went inside the restaurant at 8:12am to report the incident. At that point I left the premises to seek medical attention. I was treated for 2nd degree burns. Once home I contacted the store again and was told an incident report would be completed. I also contacted the 800 number to report the incident. The next day I received a call from Melanie at Gallagher Basset insurance company and was told someone would be in touch with me after the investigation was complete. Since this date I have contacted the McDonalds 800 number and/or the store location 10 times (calling at least once a week) requesting follow up. The GM of the store location (Amanda) lost the incident report then no longer worked at that location. The new GM (Savannah) completed a new incident report. I have been told each time I call that messages have been left for the franchise owner Christine Devont, the McDonalds regional office, the McDonalds corporate office, and Gallagher Basset insurance company. I have yet to receive a call back from any representative of McDonalds to update me on the investigation related to the negligence of the McDonalds employee who failed to properly secure the lid on my coffee cup on July 5, 2023. I have spoken to Victoria, Jessica, Macy, Renee, Adriann, Daniel, Ira, Jada, and Natoria. I have not visited McDonalds since this incident occurred and do not plan to. Anyone who purchases coffee from this McDonald's location does so at your own risk. McDonald's clearly has no regard for the safety and well-being of its customers and does not seem to value customer satisfaction or care to promptly resolve grievances. read more

Biscuits were falling apart, maybe they weren't baked long enough, bacon under cooked, biscuits and gravy had a bad metal taste to them, for good food go to the Harvest in Marion , or Mustards in Old Fort. read more

ordered breakfast to go, gravy biscuit and egg on the side. got to work 20 miles away, opened the gravy and there was maybe a table spoon of gravy, I was so pissed, the server must of been a idiot to only serve a portion like that, did they think it was a joke? I tend to take fast food places for granted, but they are by no means all the same, even if it's the same franchise. I found this McDonald's quite nice. I ordered through the back drive, and my hostess, Toni, was just excellent. They were a bit backed up, but she made sure I was taken care of and in good time. I went at 7pm after working hard all day, got my order at the drive thru (mcnuggets meal and cheeseburger) drove 2 min to my house, everything was cold!!not warm, COLD. Not an apology for sitting there so long, not even a "Thank you" after they finally handed me my food. Extremely rude employees, lazy, and incompetent.
