I don't do reviews I feel it's my duty to do this one!!!! So my fiancé and I went into McDonald's she went up and got her soda. I went & used the bathroom was quick and I was washing my hands about to exit the employee that cleans the bathroom is a female she sticks her head in the door is looking me in the face and says is anyone in here?!!!! loudly I'm standing like inches away from her face because she's peeking around the corner. I said I'll be a moment. I'm washing my hands by this time thank God !!! I responded with. I'm almost done. I'm coming out. She says OK well, I'm waiting on you!!!! In the nastiest accusatory tone!!!! I'm like OK I'll be right out as I come out the door she scoffed and says something under her voice I said excuse me? She said if you got something flipp to say say it to my face. At this time, I'm exiting the double doors and walking out the restaurant. I said ma'am what you're saying is very unprofessional. I'm a paying customer and I was using the bathroom. I was only in here like two minutes. She says what did say????? I repeated my previous statement over my shoulder & she comes running out the door and tries to punch me in the face telling me I'm gonna punch you in your face!!!! The manager comes running out the door because he must've known that she was a hot head. He grabbed her arm and wrestles her away from being able to assault me. Then he proceeds to drag her back into the McDonald's. So I let the situation cool down for about 10 minutes, and I went back in and spoke with the manager. The managers attitude was deplorable. He acted like I was a nuisance the way he talked to me. He told me he would handle it. I expressed to him and I did not feel like she should be dealing with the public. I feel like you should've probably sent her home right now and possibly fired her. I don't know that seems like a lot. Maybe she was having a bad day. I don't know, but this was a crazy circumstance. I mean this lady was crazy !!!!!! I just feel like it's my responsibility put this out there. This manager handled it completely unprofessionally was not apologetic in any way. I went here for lunch on Sunday after church. I got a Big Mac French fries and a Mcdouble. The fries were hot and tasted great. Now let's get into the burgers, the Big Mac. The bread was hard and tasted stale. As you can see, the pictures of the McDouble looked a mess. The meat was burned, cheese was old, and the bread was hard. It wasn't hot , not even warm. I did not notice all of this until I got home. The customer service was horrible. I will not be eating here again. I gave them 3 chances to get it right, and every time, it has been something wrong. I used my app to place an order on a Saturday afternoon and the line was not too long but the wait was long. I pulled up to the speaker and provided my code to which I received a response of "that order is cancelled". I was speechless because I wasn't sure what it meant. There was dead silence for approximately 1 minute which is as long time in a drive thru lane. I responded that I didn't cancel it and the employee replied that there was nothing she could do. This McDonald's has a SERIOUS problem in the customer service dept. I ordered a 20pc nugget meal "COOK TO ORDER" which means hot & fresh. NOT heat lamp and/or raw food. "Cook to order" is a secret McDonald's Corp word which means make it fresh. Found that out on CNBC. Upon biting into the food. I could clearly tell the nuggets were nowhere near done. Also the fries were very soggy. I know it's late night. But there has to be some QA " Quality Assurance" even at night. When I called back to the McDonald's to ask for a replacement. The phone just rings and rings. Tried like three times. Then someone finally picks up and hangs up. My wife and I visited the Pasadena McDonalds on Thursday, around 2:00. We stood in line, there were two young men ahead of us in line, and waited about five minutes. No one would serve us. The two gentlemen ahead of us finally left. We waited another five minutes or so, and still no one would serve us, so we also left. The following day we picked up a couple of Egg McMuffins (yes, we finally did get served). Took them home and they were so greasy we could not eat them. I've been going to McDonalds for over 50 years. These two incidents were the first times both the service and the food was bad. I've been going to this McDonald's for years. Yes it needed to be updated but the new building is terrible. The drivethru has the new two lanes which doesn't make sense. You have to pull up past the intercom to read the menu board which is difficult to read on a good day. Today I arrived at 10:29 and ordered breakfast and they told me they were serving lunch. In the past, this was the one McD's that served breakfast until 11. Not any more. Now I ordered a big breakfast but was told only certain items were served all day breakfast. Now all the components of the big breakfast are available as sandwiches, or even a 3 stack of hotcakes, but they couldn't serve a big breakfast platter. How hard is it to take the sausage, the biscuit, the eggs and the pancakes and put on one platter. We also had a bad experience the night we had to take my husband to hospice. It was extremely late when we left and were so hungry and Mc D's was open. We didn't want anything fancy, just cheeseburgers and hamburgers. They were so salty we had to throw them away. Not just a little salty, but unedible salty. Needless to say we were very disappointed and hungry after not having anything to eat due to the circumstances. I hadn't gone back for over a year, but today broke down and decided to get some breakfast. Won't make that mistake again. Got lunch instead and the fries were so over fried, I had to throw them out for the birds and squirrels. Mc D....you were better off with the old set up. Renovation didn't help. read more
