This McDonalds was surprisingly quick with my mobile pickup order. Their bathrooms were okay and staff was friendly when I asked for ketchup packs. I got a Mocha frappe and fries. The frappe was sweet and tasty. Definitely leaning dessert over a more serious coffee drink. The fries I got were undercooked, but well salted. Food quality could definitely use work. Overall, not a bad spot to pop into on a road trip, but check your fries before leaving. read more

Stopped on our way north- Easy to park with plenty of spaces. Upon entering I noticed how clean the place was. I went up to the counter and the girl was ready to take my order- she was very friendly and polite. I used a couple- she didn't have to call a manager for help- I got no cheese on one of my sandwich- the food was so fast I thought it might have been wrong- it wasn't!! I had to use the restroom (it was being cleaned) I noticed the cashier go and say something to the man cleaning the bathroom- I asked if he was almost done- she said she didn't know- she was only asking him if he was having a nice day! Was there coming back from Mt Airy to do an atypical stop at fast food. Incredibly awful. Two happy meals. Wouldn't let my grandkids eat that mess. Literally, a few cold fries with a cheeseburger that had so much ketchup on it, it was spread out all over the container/wrap it came in and all over the bun. It was a mess. The tiny little pathetic piece of meat in there somewhere, I can't imagine feeding this crap to kids. Then, the other happy meal, again cold chicken nuggets and fries with no toy. The food sucks it's week old grease and food poisoning central. This place is terrible & only open because health department has dropped the ball. They do have some interesting tattoos displayed in the restaurant employees area. Lol. All the employees have some nice looking tattoos. If you are into that ! But they don't have quality food !! It's is McDonald's so what else is there to say? Well this location has a quirky drive thru!! Made a quick detour off Hwy 52 for an unsweetened iced tea. The drive thru is awkward and has about three awkward turns around the building to go from menu, to first window and then another slight turn to the second window to pick up your food. Then you have to watch for the cars who are backing out and not paying attention to the cars coming from the drive thru because they don't want to exit properly. So look out for those people! I was pleased with my large tea not being full of ice. A big thank you to the person who did this and filled my order with unsweetened and not sweet tea. You did great!! read more

i don't usually have a hard time at this location, mainly bc i know to stay away from a busy place if i don't have the time. i stopped by on my way home last night for what seemed like a normal night. i was greeted and paid for my food by a man named gabriel last night who absolutely made my night. he was super peppy and polite. it made the experience even better than it already is and i couldn't thank the staff enough for sending me off in higher spirits than when i arrived. i had a tough day yesterday so ending it off on a good note w this awesome crew is EXACTLY what i needed. I go to McDonald's around 545-6am before work. One day I went to get myself a breakfast, when I pulled up I saw two employees outside havi g a smoke so I went to the speaker and waited like 5 minutes and nothing did a circle came back and an employee said they weren't ready to open. It was 559 am. On line it says it's open at 5 am. Don't know who is wrong here but something needs to be done because I have gone to get breakfast before this time and it was no problem. They have recently paved the parking lot & renovated the inside and outside. Great place to eat if you have kids, new play place. Service could use some improvement, they go thru employees and managers too quickly and everyone seems confused as to what is going on read more

I have not eaten at McDonalds in a long time because my food is normally doesn't taste good, is wrong and it takes too long. Recently I stopped at the Wendy's next door and waited 20 minutes for one burger, no fries or a drink, just a burger and never got it. I walked out and decided to give McDonalds a shot. I have to say that it has improved a great amount. The service was fast correct and the food was great. The customer service was great too. read more

If I could give this McDonalds a negative star I would. I rarely eat at this one but when I do I never get the correct meal. I get shafted on my meal and do not get what I pay for. Not only getting the wrong thing...sometimes I get anything at all. I once waited 30 minutes for a 10 piece nugget meal. I asked if I was going to receive it and they promptly offered me someone else's meal. Management is awful and employees are as bad but zero guidance.
