It looks like a shack from the outside so not that appealing and definitely not the same as other Jersey. Mike locations. Me and my family were on a trip down to South Carolina, and we decided to stop at this location on the way down. The location was in a good city, and it looked modern and professional, though our experience was quite the opposite. The food was basically what you would expect from any Jersey mikes but the service was unethical. My mom and my sister had to go to the bathroom, like any normal human being, and they noticed that there was no toilet paper. So they asked the 2 employees to put some in the bathroom. On the way out, they went back to the bathroom and noticed that the toilet paper was still not there. This is unbelievable. Anyways, to conclude my review I have to say that this sub shop is okay food and looks wise, but if you care about your customer service, do not go here. read more

Then we stand there, no other customers in sight, and watch the other employees mill around right in front of us doing nothing, slurping on drinks. This goes on for a while so we split. I took off one star because they no longer have the Chicken Caesar wrap, at least at this location. The lady behind the counter told me they no longer server grilled chicken. Considering the current pandemic situation it was surprising that only half of the staff was responsible and caring enough to mask and indicate through that simple action that they care about their customers. Bearing in mind that some of the menu items are cold sandwiches which could easily be contaminated and not sterilized via cooking. Went to Jersey Mikes In Winston-Salem, NC on University Parkway for the 1st time in years for the 100% donation day to benefit the Special Olympics. I was so impressed with the Employee Tay! Not only did he not get 1 order wrong (while I was there) He kept everything in line from the costumers to the staff. He multitasked getting hot and cold orders, making bread, slicing, and making sure the sandwich makers were stocked. He made it all seem like an everyday ordeal even though the line was 20 people deep. I actually didn't wait in line that long, he pushed everyone through with Ease. I actually went back the next day to a very slow day and he was still working it seamlessly. I Thanked him and told him how Amazing I thought he was, and he was the only reason I came back. Yes they have limited veggies for the subs and it is a bit pricey, but the customer Experience I had because of Tay made it worth it. Also Have you seen the huge chocolate chip cookies? Perfection. We live in Indiana and discovered Jersey Mike's for the first time there. I guess all franchises an locations are not the same because when we went to get our sandwiches and I showed them my military ID they turned their noses up at it. I got a number #9' and my husband #7 they were poorly made ( not what we were use to at all!) I should've posted my review that night but honestly I forgot..I did send a complaint to corporate. Our Jersey Mike's in Indiana always gives military and retired military a discount I Thought they all did that! Guess I was wrong! But from the bottom of our hearts we do appreciate those that think of us. It's Because of first responders and those who stay the watch ( Military) That business can prosper. I frequently visit Jersey Mikes and I love the service. The guys and girls on the line get to know you after a few visits and are very friendly. The owner Jeff even pokes his head out once and a while to say hi. Love the food. It's all fresh made right in front of you. Only thing that stops me from giving a 5 out of 5 is price. I went to Jersey Mike's to get a sandwich I asked the worker how was making the sandwich to please make my sandwich on the softer bread that they had she made my sandwich I left and went to work i had not eaten all day so this was going to be my only food when I get to work I went to eat my food and the bread was old and hard I call the store and talked to the manager he to me to bring it back and he would replace it when I told him that I was at work now and could not leave I also told him that I had not eaten all day and then he told that I had to bring back the food but he would call the owner and see what he could do yes the manager of the restaurant had to check of he could do anything for me I was not looking for free food but I did not get a discount on the next sandwich or something I waited for the manager to call me back and never received a call I called back and had to tell the whole story all over and got the same results I had to pay someone to bring back the food and them did not even offer to compensate me for anything just returned my money back to my card I will never eat at this store ever again the customer service was the worst that I ever Experienced Jersey Mike's on University WAS THE WORST ONE THAT I EVER WENT TO!!! read more
