Stopped in quick for the restroom and if you've been to a McDonald's restroom, you know you don't have high expectations. Your typical McDonalds restroom is dingy, dirty and unkept at best. When I walked into the bathroom at this location I literally stopped in my tracks and was stunned by not only the cleanliness from floor to ceiling but the huge stalls! Trust me when I looked for signs of dirt and grime but every square inch was spotless. I thought maybe the restroom was recently renovated but the missing purse hook on the back of the stall door indicated that it was not. This was just a very well kept restroom. Kudos to the management here for keeping such high standards of cleanliness, especially in an area this is typically difficult to keep clean! read more

The line was long in the drive thru so we went on. The facility was clean and the employee was kind. We came to this McDonald's after a long and tiring day of shopping at the Pleasant Prairie Outlet Mall looking for a milkshake. However, they were out of milkshakes AND ice cream at the time. We went to the next closest McDonald's 10 minutes away only for them to have ice cream yet no milkshakes. We then drove 15 minutes to the next McDonald's, and finally they were offering milkshakes. A stain on the company name to be sure. read more

I have never had a bad experience with McDonalds expect for this location. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and a drink and when I got to the 2nd window and got my food I noticed they forgot a straw. I kindly waved at the young lady behind the window and she rolled her eyes, opened the window and just glared at me, I said/asked "I'm sorry I didn't get a straw, may I get one?" she then let out a giant sigh and practically threw the straw into my car. Some of my coworkers order from this McDonald's on break since it's 1 of 2 restaurants nearby, and they've gotten sick. I ordered fries just as a safe choice but was also wrong. Nail length is a hygienic issue. If you can not properly wash your hands or put on gloves, it is an issue. read more

Food is never fresh I dont know why everytime I ask for no salt on my fries I recieved extremely cold fries with salt, the fries tasted like they had been sitting under the light all day, then my filet o fish supposed to came with tarter sauce there wasn't none on there. I was ordering breakfast yesterday morning from this drive through and I ordered a McGriddle (Sausage patty between two pancakes if you were wondering) and I pulled up, got my food, they were polite enough, but when I opened my bag. THERE WAS CHEESE ON MY MCGRIDDLE. Now tell me why would ANYONE put cheese on a pancake. That is CRIMINAL. So not only did I have to repeat my basic order of two items. They took forever just to take our order. On top of that while sitting at the order speaker another car pulls up and orders and pulls up to the window while still sitting and waiting. Once the person taking the order got to us, they could not be understood and were extremely rude. I don't like giving out 1 stars, but the experience today really ticked me off. I ordered a Mocha with double shot coffee and the "barrister" asked me hot or cold. Reply, "hot." Then he gave me an iced mocha. When I reminded him that I ordered a hot mocha, he frowned at me! Really!?? To add to the insult, he ignored me and left me to be served by another person. Stopped here to stretch my legs after a long drive and get coffee since nothing else was opened besides the gas station. I think I would have been better off at the gas station. There were two other customers in the place. So not busy at all. Figured what the heck, I would try some breakfast since their menu is slightly different than what is offered in my neck of the woods. Big mistake! First off, staff seemed to be untrained in any form of customer service. They were more interested in chatting and heckling each other. Food was way overcooked or had been sitting under heat lamps for a while. Not sure which! Not to mention the fact I had to have them remake the coffee twice as they kept giving me the wrong one! McDonald's - Nasty ground in dirty table!!! - Fast Food Near Me - Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin

I really feel for their people -- this location gets bombarded with customers, since it's right there at the entrance of the Pleasant Prairie Outlet Mall (outdoor mall), which attracts HOARDS of Cheeseheads, Chicago-ans, and suburbanites of Northern Illinois. Needless to say, you can expect a healthy wait time for food, and especially if you're ordering for more than 2 people. This location is one of the more updated Mickey-D's and features 2 drive thru lanes. While in theory it should help with the traffic flow (which often spills over to the side street, which it shares with a BP Amoco gas station (also very busy). However, the lines just don't move. From the time I called in my order from the Drive Thru window, it took me 10 minutes to get to the window to pay. I bit my tongue at the drivers in the second lane who cut in front of me even though they ordered AFTER I did. It's a bit awkward when they know they were impolite and yet, they're parked perpendicular to your car..and you're attempting to inch forward so that the guy behind you can at least place his order. Anyhow - we were told to pull off to one of those designated parking spaces to wait for our food - and it took us an additional 10 minutes of waiting. During this time, I believe their employees were laying the burgers on Himalaya pink rock salt slabs. I know I prefer salty foods, but gee whiz, I think they dumped Kosher salt onto the fries & burgers. That evening, after I finally got home, digested my sandwich & fries, I drank a gallon of water. As far as McDonald's are concerned - you do get fresh sandwiches, consistent food, and a definite rise in blood pressure. Even so, their fries in general are the best in the QSR arena, so even if it's overly salted, I will probably stop again when Im in the area outlet shopping and in need of 'nutrition'. this mcdonald's lies about menu options twice we asked for the bbq chicken tenders first the guy said they were out of them then told us it takes too long. we arrived at 9:45pm they close at 11pm lazy!!! Really???? out of a product !!! They shut the fryer done that's what's happening. so we got two filet fish, one was raw and the other cooked. the fries were old and hard while the other fries were hot. Really upset because this place is half assed quality. rude window service and they did not mark the sodas. if we could give zero stars we would. who runs this location. we are calling corporate. the menu does not read that the employees refuse to make product nor does it read that they do not serve certain products. not recommended ever!! read more

I normally don't leave reviews for a McDonalds, it usually is what it is for a fast food restaurant. However, this morning at around 9:15AM, I ordered a medium hot Mocha, the service was just fine. The reason I am sending a complaint their way, is due to the fact that the female at the 2nd window, where you pick up your order had so much perfume on and it was so strong that I had to take the lid off of my coffee cup so I wouldn't smell her perfume. Let me tell you, cheap perfume rubbing off on your coffee cup does not mix well at all!! It stunk to all high heaven....anyways, she should wear gloves when disbursing peoples food so she doesn't stink them up or better yet....don't wear cheap perfume that rubs off on everything while you are at work!! First, the drive thru screen wasn't working to see my order. This led to the woman on the other end rambling through my order and say pull forward. Ok fine. I paid for my meal and the person that took my money did not confirm my order. THEN DISASTER. I pulled forward to the 2nd window and was handed a bag with a sandwich - no fries that I had ordered. I would give this location 1/2 star for having a restroom. Other than that, they suck. Stopped here for coffee after driving all night. There was a homeless looking guy on his laptop sitting at a counter and a woman passed out at a table. Manager was chit chatting with an elderly man and looked at me several times, smirked and sneered and never acknowledged that I was there as a customer. Hmmmmmm. An employee with a headset walked past me several times, peeked at me out of the corner of her eye, but never even acknowledged that I was standing there. After 5 full minutes of waiting for the manager OR SOMEONE to take my coffee order, I left without my coffee. They need to replace the entire staff here and start over! First time coming to this McDonald's in Pleasant Prairie. I was lucky because the city of kenosha just add a new bus 35 to mall area. This McDonald's was clean in Inside and outside. Works were friendly and nice. I order and got my food right way and my food was delicious and good. I give this place 5 stars. I come here this area every once a week because of the new bus. Not only did they get my order wrong, they insisted my order was correct. I had to explain what a small coffee was and what a medium Frappe was.I called the corporate customer service number, only to find out they are having technical difficulties. When I was finally handed the correct size frappe, there was whipped cream dripping down around the whole lid. I said to the guy in drive thru (NO NAME TAG BTW) that it was nasty and if I could have some napkins. He repeated what I had said. I asked if he was mocking me, he said no then said have a great day. WTF...for my $20 dollar order I didn't expect that kind of experience. I called the store to complain and the manager Maria did NOT understand what I was saying .
