Today I had the fish sandwich with fries, buffalo sauce, and an unsweet tea - everything came out quickly and, most importantly, hot, even the fries. Both drive-thru cashiers were friendly and helpful. The only thing I would watch is salting the fries. Sometimes there is already plenty in the pan. Sheesh! I haven't visited this location in about a year. My reason for going is because my family cannot break away from this chain. I'll admit the fries can be addictive and I catch myself stealing at least 10... I figured they wouldn't miss any... five from my mom and five from my daughter. Well, my family put in a request last week for food that totaled over $17. I brought food for three people... I cringed at the total. But my family asked and I agreed to stop here. This store features a two lane drive thru meaning, you can choose from two lanes to drive up and place your order. Well I chose the lane with the fewest cars, but the other lane moved much quicker... how is this even possible. I pulled up to the speaker... placed my order... I had to repeat my order three times before the order taker comprehended everything. Super frustrating... I get to the window to pay... really quickly. Well I guess it was really quickly, because I noticed other cars ahead of me and in the other lane were parked in the parking lot... waiting on their order. I figured too bad for them, my order was simple so no way was I getting parked... As soon as I pulled up to the second window I was told to pull up the third spot and someone would bring out my order. Aye yi yi!! I waited about five minutes... an employee came to my car and asked that I confirm my order as he stood there with a bag in his hand... It wasn't my order. Another three minutes went by... my order finally arrived. Sheeeesh! This visit was unbelievable and the time that it took to receive my order, super crazy! Would I recommend you come here... go at your own risk. This store is located off of the busy Airline Blvd. Other eateries are nearby such as: KFC, Taco Bell, Cookout, Wendy's and a few more. A gas station is nearby too. The customer service was super mediocre. Therefore, do not come expecting over the top customer service or fast service. Pack your patience. 8/17/21 -- 3:15am Yikes, on the sign it says they're open 24 hrs except on Wednesdays. My boyfriend has work at 4am, nothing else is opened to eat except here.... so he pulled to the drive thru and waited 5 minutes. No one helped him. He went up to the drive thru window, he can hear music playing and people inside but they're trying to hide their faces. Another car circles around, confused if they're open. Finally he gets a workers attention and they say they're closed. If you're closed, put cones to block the drive thru! You're wasting everyone's time. Looking at the reviews, looks like management isn't good and this place doesn't even have a good reputation. Disappointing. Do better. read more

I am a frequent flyer for quick food fast in the morning. This location is always clean. The management team is friendly and they express appreciation for your business. The staff is well trained and very welcoming. They have learned to manage the double drive thru lines with ease. I love, love the egg white breakfast sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised by the light fare and great taste. I paired it with coffee and a yogurt parfait. Great tasting healthy food at a fast food restaurant - life is great. When you look through the window the tables are always clean and a worker is walking around the restaurant checking in to make sue you are pleased. The staff smiles at you when they are assisting you with your order you are answering your question. All furniture in this location has been updated. Great seat cushions, chair height and extremely comfortable. Quite possibly the worst run McDonald's in the region. The day crew is typically good, usually, but the evening/night crew is absolutely worthless. I've never been when it has taken less than 15 min to get through the drive through, even if there are only a couple cars ahead. A competently run crew should average 2 min or less per car, but not this hoard of lazy people.; it's like they don't even start making your food till you're at the second window. But I know that isn't the case, because 2/3 of the time, the food is tepid at best. A couple of days ago, I sat at the order box foe 10 min without a peep. I left and went to Wendy's. This place has been remodeled ,very clean TV screens at most of the dining section for your enjoyment with your family or friends. They even have a miniature seating section for kids. I highly recommend this restaurant .My cashier was very polite and was eager to serve me. The door says 24 Hours, The website also says 24 hours. Tell me why I sat in the drive through for 20 minutes with no response. I come here often because I live down the street and it's on the way to my work. In this area everything else is closed. Yesterday morning I waited for 20 minutes and someone finally answered. She told me that they closed at 12am and reopened at 5 am. If that is the case then how am I stopping throughout the week in the early am around 3:30-4 ish to get a coffee and a sandwich. I am a Kindergarten teacher and I planned a field trip to Willett Hall. Our small group of 35 students (~10 kids were out sick) watched a stage play and stopped at this McDonald's location afterwards. Management and crew were completely prepared for our group. They directed our students to a seating area. They met us with warm greetings, checked up on us throughout our visit. The students' happy meals were sorted and bagged. Juice boxes were bagged, as well as napkins and ketchup. Distribution was oh so smooth! Checkout was a breeze also. Only issue to note is that checks are not accepted. If I could give no stars I probably would. Customer service is just horrible. They waited about 15 minutes to come and tell us that they were out of the breakfast burritos and she said "you could I guess go talk to my manager about a compromise" and then walked away. Went in for breakfast with my kids and I was amazed how clean it was and I was greeted at the door....unusual in other locations. The food was hot and fresh and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also had a ton of patience as I tried to keep my twins from tearing the store apart. This McDonald's is a step above the Portsmouth Blvd location in Western Branch. It was remodeled some time ago. The food is usually decent. I usually check this location out on weekdays about 4pm after getting kids from school. There was a time stretch where there would be a very strong chemical odor in the restaurant. I was guessing it was cleaning materials? My main gripe is that sometimes the service is hit and miss. Really good and then bad. The last time we went there it seemed a bit unusual, it appeared as if most of the staff was hanging out in front of the counter area. Not sure if there had been a meeting or what was going on but it was unusual and felt uncomfortable. The employees were loud like perhaps some loitering or even horse playing was going on. Maybe the employees were waiting for pay checks? I really do not know but it was odd. We decided to not bother walked out and headed down the street to a different restaurant. read more

If you are looking for a place to get food, you should not go to McDonalds. They are located in York County, Virginia. Don't go to McDonalds because the workers do not wash their hands, the bathrooms are not clean, and more bad reasons. The worst part is that the playground smells like feet. Some of the workers aren't very friendly. I never go to McDonalds because I think it is a horrible place and if you go there, I think you will not like it either. The food is horrible because once I told them to not put onions on my burger, but they still did. I would say the smoothies are okay, but nothing else is good to me.
