We loved our visit to Caffiend Coffee Co. The staff was friendly, helpful with recommendations, and took the time to confirm our special request. The Blue Fog Matcha had great matcha flavor, while the house-made rose cardamom syrup in the Velvet Bloom Latte was yummy. We appreciated that the cilantro sauce served with the empanada tasted fresh. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available, along with a decent-sized parking lot.

I've been meaning to try this place. I noticed it was right across from Wick and Sip where May's Parlor used to be so I went after my Sunday outing. The girl who took my order was nice and patient. I ordered the fall menu matcha which had persimmon and spices and a bacon egg and cheese empanada. The space is beautiful and is the perfect environment for some peace and quiet or a nice convo if you sit outside. I was not a fan of the bacon, egg and cheese empanada as the contents tasted super processed exactly like a hot pocket. However, the matcha was incredible, great quality and I loved the flavor. I can't wait to return and try other items on the menu including some coffee!

I love a coffee shop!! And Caffiend is a great addition to the Ghent area. There's plenty of coffee shops in the area but they also sale bakeries and empanadas, so I feel like that gave them a little more cool points. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner answered all my questions. I ordered their bean empanadas and the sauce that went with it was chef's kiss!! Paired with my raspberry latte, it made a Friday work day pleasant. The coffee was strong but not bitter and the syrup was homemade and not too sweet! Can't wait to visit again, like tomorrow LOL!

Always open to try new coffee spots, so I came here with a friend to catch up. The servers were very nice. My friend got a macchiato and I got a seasonal latte. They have plenty of options of yummy bites. My friend got the cranberry orange muffin which was pretty big!! I tasted it and it was very good, super fresh. My friend who's older didn't realize the macchiato was basically expresso and cream. When she asked if she could change it for just coffee with cream they assigned her with no issue. While there's not a lot of seating inside we were able to grab seats on the cozy spot to catch up. Before we left I ordered some beef & cheese empanadas to take to my husband. Definitely a grab spot to grab coffee on a nice day while you're out exploring the area!!

I decided to stop by for a matcha before a workout class this past weekend and had a great experience. The ambiance was wonderful. I was able to order within a few minutes of entering the cafe. I ordered a matcha and a homemade raspberry pop tart. I got to witness one of the employees making my matcha. I was impressed that the matcha was hand-stirred using a bamboo whisk rather than a shaker or a blender. This definitely had a positive impact on the quality of the drink. The matcha was excellent and the presentation was beautiful. As for food, I don't normally eat pop tarts at home, but when I saw how delicious they looked in the case I knew I had to try it. The raspberry pop tart was excellent. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the other flavors! Overall, I would recommend stopping by Caffiend for some excellent drinks, ambiance, and treats!

It was my first time coming here and it was such a cute coffee shop! Very clean and modern, and I love that they serve some empanadas and pastries alongside their coffee. I got the beef empanada and it came with aji verde sauce, and both were fresh, flavorful and delicious. I also got the seasonal iced gingerbread latte with whole milk. I adjusted to half sweetness and it was perfect. Service was friendly and the food/drink came out quickly. I will definitely come back soon!

I was at G-Patton Salon and asked the young lady doing my grandsons hair about a coffee shop in the shopping center and all she had to say was they have empanadas , I walked over and got a few empanadas , butter croissant and ice coffee and I must say 10/10 all around , food, ambiance , service etc. very welcoming for sure. I will definitely be back

I love to support local so I had to try this new cafe. The set up of it is beautiful and unique in itself. I love that they make their syrups in house, especially rose cardamom that one is my favorite. My first visit (and since then) I was met with great service!! 10/10 Try my order: 16 oz iced latte with oatmilk and rose cardamom ‍soooo good

Surprising find! Super cute cafe that is perfect for studying (just a few tables) and the quiche was better than I expected! But the highlight was the Blueberry Fog Matcha! It's so hard to find a solid matcha in the area so I will definitely be back~. They test seasonal drinks in house and craft and perfect each signature latte until it's up to par. Staff were also very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Will DEFINITELY be back and looking forward to their fall menu

Just opened up. Very cute setting. They have a few selections for pastries and even have quiche on their menu. Coffee tasted great!

As for the food, I don't order food here too often so I haven't tried too much, but a super slept on pick is the pesto chicken sandwich. Holy amazing it's delicious. Price point for the coffee here is very reasonable with a plain latte being somewhere around $5, which is definitely better than many coffee chains.

During the ordering process, the barista asked me was I planning on sitting outside. I understand that having a pet requires extra responsibilities. However, her tone made us feel unwelcome.

It's incredibly spacious with high ceilings, tons of natural light, and lots of beautiful details everywhere you look. The front patio is perfect for people watching or just enjoying some fresh air, with lots of space between tables (no awkward eavesdropping here). Inside, the vibe is super chill. There were quite a few people working on laptops, but it didn't feel stuffy or too quiet ... just a comfortable, low-key buzz that makes you want to stay a while. I started off with an iced americano topped with strawberry cold foam. The foam itself was a little thicker than I expected (it was more "whipped cream" than "cold foam"), but honestly, it was delicious. I'd totally order it again. The flavor combination is chef's kiss. A little sweet, a little tangy, and it adds something fun to a classic drink. For food, I went all in on the Box Car Sandwich. If you love grilled cheese, you HAVE to try this. Oozy pepperjack and cheddar, crispy bacon, tomato, avocado, all sandwiched between slices of perfect sourdough. And the special sauce on the side? I could have eaten it with a spoon. I have no idea what's in it, but I want a bottle to take home. I can't wait to come back here and give their espresso martini a try, and their pepperoni swirl pastry looked 10/10.

I ordered the Monticello breakfast sandwich (with sausage, egg, cheddar, arugula, and a delicious aioli on an English muffin) and their Brown Sugar No. 05. Another customer in line even asked us if we've been before and told us about the fun latte flavors. My mom and I ordered a cold brew each, and it was my mom's favorite cold brew she's ever had! It was good, but it was interesting because near the end of our cups, we tried each others' drinks just for the sake of things, and they tasted different - mine tasted less coffee, whereas my mom's drink had a was stronger coffee flavor. Maybe they were from different batches? Nevertheless, cold brews were great and I would order again. Like other coffee roasters in the area, if you buy a bag of beans, you get a complimentary cold brew, coffee, latte (?)! I was tempted to purchase a bag but they are so popular and only had 1 type of bean left that I don't prefer - heh, I warned that I'm a coffee snob. Would definitely go again/ask family to purchase beans for us out of towners.

It operates out of Toast on weekdays and Perro Blanco on weekends. I ended up circling the block for a while trying to find it because I had no idea where it was located. Apparently they mention this on Instagram, but since I don't have Instagram, I only figured it out after the fact. I can't help but wonder how many potential customers end up at Mea Culpa Coffee, which is right behind Toast and much easier to identify as a coffee shop. Once I went inside Toast and asked, the cashier explained that I was already in the right place. Mystery solved. I ordered the iced blueberry lemon zest matcha latte with coconut milk, and it was genuinely delicious. The blueberry and lemon complemented the matcha really well, making for a refreshing drink that wasn't overly sweet. My only hesitation is the price. At $9, it felt a bit steep for a drink that appeared to be about 16 ounces and was filled almost entirely with ice. While I enjoyed it and would order it again, I'd have a hard time justifying the price on a regular basis. Overall, the quality of the drink was excellent, but I think Kobros could make the experience even better by making their location more obvious outside of Instagram and offering a little more value for the price.
