    Chicken salad varieties

I had another great experience here! The fall matchas are worth a try. I had the spiced maple...yum! I also tried the pumpkin chicken salad - no it doesn't have pumpkin. It has pumpkin spiced mayo and candied pecans. It was really good. The service was great. I don't have to wait long to place my order or for my order. The vibe is always chill - tables, bar seating, and window seating options. I'll have to go back and try something else! Check it out!

When we walked in, we were hit with a strong odor of bleach. Plus side, means the place is clean. Down side, the smell was so over powering that it was nauseating. Fortunately, the friendly staff greeted us immediately and we decided to stay and give them a try. We had an oat milk almond matcha latte. It was interesting. A little too perfume tasting to my liking but my companion loved it. I did enjoy the matcha and was happy to find another cafe that doesn't get me sick (Intense lactose intolerance). Will try it without the almond next time. We also had a wildflower latte. Didn't try it due to the dairy but my companion liked it. I'm not a fan of flowery drinks so doubt I'll try this one. Treats were a lemon curd muffin. Massive and tasty! We shared it because it was so big. We also had a croissant, one of the better ones I've had lately. Buttery and flakey. I only had a small taste (that pesky butter). I would have given it a five star rating but that bleach smell was really bad.

Better than any Starbucks hands down!!! Fresh bakery items, delicious teas and coffees as well as yummy frappes for the littles!!! Staff is always polite and friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for getting my papers done! Location is the best!! I came for my birthday and on National Twin Day to celebrate my kiddos!! Definitely a fav in our household!!!

Great little cafe to grab coffee or a bite to eat. It's very open seating with tables & couches for a more relaxed vibe. The Chicken Salad Sandwich is my go-to. I was worried about the artichokes throwing off the taste but I didn't even notice or taste them. The barista recommended the Hulk smoothie, & I regrettably went for it. I would not recommend this smoothie. I could get past more than a few sips. It was bland aside from a powdery flavor. I thought the coconut milk, banana & strawberries would come through in flavor, but you couldn't even taste them. Despite my distaste with the smoothie, I still highly recommend this cafe.

Latte and a spinach and feta pastry

Gather was a nice find! I was on my way to an event nearby, but I realized I was super early and had some time to kill. - Parking - Center lot. - Vibe - Love the vibe with tables and cozy places to sit. The shop is very spacious and open which I like! - Sips and Noms - Latte - great! Lattes are my go-to at coffee shops and this one was great, served in a pretty decent sized mug. Spinach & feta pastry - this was really delicious. The barista offered to warm it up, which I could not refuse. It was warm, crispy, flaky and soft with the spinach and feta. The next time I visit this part of Chesapeake, I look forward to returning! Enjoy, Friends and never stop exploring!

Super cute coffee shop! Very friendly and attentive staff. My sister and I ordered lattes, muffins, and a cinnamon to share and everything was delicious!

I love this spot! I've been a couple times before to meet a friend for a bite and then to meet another friend for a Saturday morning coffee, but today I went to get a salad for a late lunch. I tried the winter salad and they were able to sub the chicken for avocado as my protein, and I was so grateful (I'm not a big meat eater). It was a delicious salad, and everything I felt I needed to eat today after a couple weeks of seriously dirty eating. I can't wait to come back and get it again.

    Chicken Salad, Seasonal Berry Lemonade

This is my go-to spot for a chicken salad sandwich! It is just so good! I also love being able to sit outside with my dog on the patio. I've had a few of their seasonal lattes and none have disappointed! They had different popcorn flavored lattes and I was apprehensive at first but was surprised at how good they were! They also had a berry lemonade on their menu for a short period and it was super refreshing! The staff are always friendly and tentative. A great 3rd place atmosphere!

Date of Visit: Sunday, March 8 | Time: ~9:00 AM…read more If you want to see a masterclass in multitasking, you need to visit this spot on a Sunday morning. When I walked in, the vibe was relaxing with the good music playing--just three tables and one person at the bar--but that didn't last long. Within ten minutes, five more parties dropped in, and the place went from zero to sixty real quick. The Service: A One-Woman Show I have to give a massive shout-out to Casey. For the first hour, she was "The House." She was greeting everyone, tending bar, taking every order, and running food. Even as the crowd swelled, she stayed on top of it. She got my drinks out fast, and while there was a wait for the food, it was totally reasonable considering she was flying solo until backup arrived an hour and a half later. The Food: Seafood & Southern Staples The kitchen is run by a single cook who clearly knows their way around a fryer. Even with a mountain of large DoorDash orders stacking up, my meal arrived hot and fresh about 20 minutes after ordering. The Main Event: Egg, Catfish, Shrimp & Grits with Texas Toast The Seafood: The catfish and shrimp were fried to perfection. Those shrimp are truly colossal and packed with flavor. My only minor gripe was that both were a bit on the greasy side, but the taste was spot on. The Sides: The soft scrambled eggs with cheese were a little too soft for my personal preference, but still tasty. The grits were standard, and the Texas toast was exactly what it should be: perfectly toasted and buttery. The Drink: I ordered the 50/50 tea. It came in a 12-oz plastic mason jar and hit the sweet spot--refreshing without being overly sweet. The Bottom Line Be prepared for the "fine print" on the bill. There is a 16% automatic gratuity and a credit card service fee. My total came to $41.33. Tea: 2.99,2 egg & Catfish:16.99, add cheese:.99 and side of fried shrimp: 9.99, service fee: 1.24, 16% gratuity: 4.95, and tax: 4.18 Honestly, even with the auto-gratuity, I had to slide Casey some extra cash. Watching her manage a sudden rush while keeping the wheels from falling off was impressive. If you go, expect a bit of a wait if it's busy, but know that the staff is working their tails off to get you a solid, hot meal.

I'm not a fan of automatic gratuity, but it is what it is. I've been here several times and usually enjoy it, but this last visit was just okay. I had a basic breakfast--eggs, potatoes, pancakes, and bacon. Unfortunately, everything was warm at best, not hot. My friend ordered pancakes, eggs benedict, and fried catfish. She mentioned the catfish was greasy and tasted like it had been cooked in old oil, and the egg on her benedict was more like a boiled egg. When we shared our concerns with the server, she simply said ok and didn't follow up. Hoping this was just an off day because I've had better experiences here in the past.

Spent just shy of $400 on 2 people in their "speak easy"…read more They add an 18% gratuity, on every check; and won't serve you until they make this clear. That alone: is a turnoff to me. I tip above 20% 95% of the time. The food was average at best. Temperature was off on both entries. Taste was nothing special. We only had 2 mixed drinks, and 2 glasses of wine. The 1st dirty martini was made with vermouth after I specifically said no vermouth. I was billed for both. Neither martini was topped off. Both were 1-1.5 inches from the top. Wine was fine. The service was ok. Not great. The table settings are bland, and could be found in a Dennys restaurant. After a below average dining experience; I was a bit surprised with a $375 bill. Suppose I should have paid more attention to the prices for side dishes and deserts. Adding insult to injury: I somehow left my Amex behind at the table. First time in my life. Then the fun began. My wife and I called the restaurant and had to leave messages 5 times between us, to confirm they had the card and to arrange a pickup. Not one call back: in 5 calls!!! Finally ordered a new card. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away from these lazy people.
