For such a small town, you'd think they would be on top of this. I ONLY recommend going to this McDonald's during the week late at night when the mature workers take over and understand what it takes to do your job. They can get it right, but only by the few there. Anything DoorDash from this place is trash, do not even try. Just go inside, seems to be faster. Never got waited on at the drive-through after several minutes of sitting there and cars on the other side passing us, at least four cars. This happens frequently here and half the time their frappe machines don't work or something is broke. I don't think I'll return to this McDonald's anytime soon. read more

Great random McDonalds pick to stop for a quick bite and coffee while starting out on a trip! We weren't looking for anything in particular and even checked our collection of fast food Apps for deals before deciding on the fallback choice of McD's Dollar Menu. Walking in at 9:45am on Thursday we found the inside to be clean and orderly, check! Headed to the restrooms that were likewise clean, check! Then went to the counter to order instead of the two kiosks that were available to get that old fashioned personal experience, check! We decided on the Sausage Biscuits and changed from originally thinking of Coffee to ordering a Soft Drink, any size $1 so Large, of course, check. My wife picked out a booth while I went to the Drink Station to select and fill. I returned to the counter area to wait for our food and almost immediately the pleasant young lady who took our order came up to me and informed me that my order was already at our table! Smiling, pleasant, competent, and professional staff in addition to the expected McD's fare and a clean restaurant is what we wanted and this McDonalds delivers the total package! I'll keep it bookmarked for future travels in this area. My only regret is not getting the name of the young superstar that took care of us for a personal shout out, but hopefully she knows who she is! read more

I found this McDonalds irritating. To be respectful first, I will say they seemed clean. The food was the standard. But that's the good...the bad or what I found irritating was, you are greeted not with welcome to McDonalds but self serve kiosks...so I dive into that, and of course had to call for help to untangle the mess I made of placing my order...the process took about 4 or 5 minutes...far far longer than if one of the staff had taken my order. Next issue I found here was the total loud chaos of the middle school/high school age staff that seemed/sounded out of control...very unprofessional. There appeared to be one adult manager, clearly not in control, in my opinion. Should be a good environment to teach kids some work ethic...not romper room. read more

This may be the worst McDonald's I've ever visited. The counter person couldn't just the energy to say hello or ask what i wanted to order. She just stood, mute, until I spoke. Then there was no thank you, pick up your order over there or even get lost. The order board indicated my order was up so i stepped to the counter only to have a different order tossed in front of me. I won't be back. read more

I would think being in a town the size of Potterville the McDonalds would be on point because there isn't really that much traffic here. I would steer clear of this location. Stopped at this McDonalds this morning. I love the cranberry orange muffins. Went to order 2 of them and noticed the case was only filled with blueberry muffins. I ask the guy if they had any in the back room. He said "no". I asked "are you sure"? He told me they hadn't had any in 1 week. That is not good planning. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

Usually about once a week my girlfriend and I hit the drive thru here for something quick and easy for breakfast just before work. HOWEVER, usually about once a week I have to double check our orders because they are CONSISTENTLY missing items or not preparing them properly. For instance we will order something like an egg mcmuffin and ask for NO cheese as my girlfriend hates processed cheese. We will confirm it at the order screen, pull forward to pay, double confirm it at that point in time, and then move ahead once more to receive our order. At that point we ask yet again if it has been made with no cheese. They usually tell us yes and then.. then.. then.. we open it and discover.... guess what?! Friggin Cheese on it! Even triple checking is just not enough with this place! Just this morning I ordered a number 11 meal. Simple I thought. Foolish me! For those who don't know a number 11 meal is a bacon/egg/cheese bagel with a hashbrown and coffee. I however added complexity to this overwhelming order by asking for (GASP) an upgrade from coffee to a small orange juice! The price was then given and I pulled forward to where I paid for my number 11 meal. I asked again AT THAT POINT if the upgrade was processed and the young lady assured me it was correct. I pulled forward once more to receive my meal and again foolish me.... I received it and smiled at the young lady who cheerfully announced: "Number 11 meal?" I replied: "Right here!" She smiled and handed it to me and wished me a good day. Okay, as I get on the highway I look and I see that she did not give me a hash brown and she did not give me a bacon/egg/cheese bagel. They instead gave me an egg mcmuffin! Just a plain by itself egg mcmuffin. No hash brown, nada! So to say I am livid is an understatement! Now I get that this is fast food. Seriously I do. I get that this is an unskilled labor position! Really, I am right there with that! However to think that these idiots are clamoring for a 15$ an hour raise for their (HAH!) quality hard work and customer service is just beyond ridiculous! Seriously, how friggin hard is it to put food together when your NOT rushed or to confirm visually that the food is what was ordered?? Is it so hard to look and see the difference between a bagel and an english muffin based breakfast sandwich? Does it overwhelm your finely honed skills to confirm by peeking into the bag that a meal has at least TWO friggin items in it?! Really?! Really?! Here's a big thought to management on a local level! EVERY single time your staff misplaces an order, messes up the process, gets a complaint because of a GENUINE friggin mistake on your unskilled laborers end, then WRITE THEM UP! Be punitive! Be pro friggin active! And shortly you won't have so many mistakes because your highly skilled and overwhelmed staff wanting that 15$ an hour will either step up and shine or fall and sink like a stone! Fast food? Great customer service? Highly skilled staff who takes pride in themselves? Pride in their store? Pride in their food? NOT! Go back to kindergarten and learn your friggin job!!! read more
