It doesn't look like much from outside, but inside is a very cool old space, very open and airy with very high ceilings, hardwood floors, a gorgeous tin ceiling, and an eclectic mix of furniture, local crafts, and art. The people working there are quite nice. There are a variety of fresh brewed coffees. I asked for the dark roast, which was actually a very tasty medium-bodied coffee. I judge this a triumph in Charlotte, where most people seem to prefer their coffee pretty bland. I also had a delicious bran muffin. I didn't try the expresso drinks.
