I'm no math genius, but I'm failing to understand McDonalds pricing. I can get 2 breakfast sandwiches, for example an egg McMuffin and a sausage McMuffin, for $4. I can get any large drink for $1. I can buy a hash brown by itself for $1.50. So then why is an egg McMuffin combo over $9 with tax? How dumb does McDonald's think it's customers are or is it just here in AZ that they take advantage of people who can't read or do simple math. Hard to screw up McDonalds but they managed to do just that on my last visit. The chicken nuggets were cold and tasted sour, while the soda had the consistency of syrup. I didn't realize this until I was a few miles down the I-10 so it wasn't worth turning around. Having said that, this is a convenient gas-and-grub stop to top off the tanks before heading into California. There's a Love's off the same exit on the south side of the I-10 which attracts truckers and tourists like moths to the flame, so it's always crammed and filthy. The restrooms here are always clean and the dining room, should you decide to chill from the I-10 madness for a few minutes, is clean. read more

Always always always buy your gas in Quartzsite, AZ before you cross the border into Cali... so that said, the Pilot (Chevron?) off exit 17A (?) is right next to the McD (and cheaper than the gas station immediately off the exit)... Clean bathrooms and get your consistant McD items you want as you continue on the long drive in to LA. read more

I bought a quarter pounder with cheese and a large fry ( no drink) and they charged me $12 and change. Most expensive McDonald's I ever had. A convenient waypoint on my semi-regular drives between Phoenix and Los Angeles, this particular McDonalds location offers standard, predictable fare at a good price. Let's face it, when you pull into the parking lot and see the Golden Arches, fine cuisine is not what you're looking for, so with reasonably low expectations, you're sure to be satisfied. While I tend to avoid chains as a rule, when you're driving along the I-10 and need an air conditioned place to rest, grab a quick bite and use the restroom, this is place to go. Trust me - aside from the chains (McDonalds, Burger King, Carls Jr., and Subway) there aren't too many places in good old Quartzsite. I've tried. Because of this, the dining room can get pretty crowded, and since they cater to a continuous stream of weary travelers and truck drivers, well...let's just say it's not the cleanest McDonalds that you'll ever stumble upon. They try to keep the restrooms clean, but during busy times, they can be downright nightmarish. So there ain't much on the way to or from Phoenix, but if you need a snack, stop by this McD's for your road trip meal When I looked at my order, I saw the the fries were missing. Then I looked at the receipt, and sure enough, they weren't on the receipt, either. I told the Manager and offered to pay for the fries. He said, "Don't worry about it" and gave me fries right out of the fryer, nice and hot. I'ts great when Management covers for their people who are working hard and make an honest mistake. Food was good however customer service is a different story. Horrible and rude. No one told you to work at a busy McDonald's if you don't like a busy atmosphere. I asked the lady to repeat something because I'm half deaf and she gave me an attitude when she repeat it. I asked for the number 1, but not the meal because I already had drinks in the car and apparently I wasn't allowed to get just the burger and fries. Standard McDonald's with one major issue. The menu board isn't in front of the majority of cash registers, so you can't look at the board and order because there's a large column blocking your view. There are 4 menu boards with the main board for breakfast being hidden behind McCafe area and as far from the cash registers as possible. Went IntoTthis McDonald's and, I was so ,Discussed. it was night time I had to wait for ,25 to 30 minutes just for a cheese burger and, a big mac. Stopped in at Quartzite McDonalds to use restroom and order food. Restroom was clean. Large crowd waiting inside and no staff taking orders. Decided to use kiosk. Put in order for two quarter pounder combos, which came up with amount of $24. Thought I messed up and it was so busy we decided to go through drive through. BTW, NO prices on menu, nada, nein. At drive through, place order, sure enough, $24 for two combo meals, twice as much as any other McDonalds I have been to. Buyer be warned, this is not right. Totally taking advantage of customer. The prices here are insane!!! We are a family of 4. Ordered for standard combos and are total was $51.04. After some research the average price in the state of Arizona for a regular combo meal is $6.45. We paid 10.99 a meal. The food was mediocre, which can expected be expected. For $6:45 and $11:00. I asked the waitress about it because I eat breakfast at whatever local McDonald's I'm near everyday and I've never had this problem before. We went there on 8/19/18 at 630pm. I'm not sure the managers name but I told manager that both soda machines were out of carbonation ( we tried several sodas) he said ok and would take care of. He didn't take care of it so we proceeded to tell another worker. No one took care of it. The food was disgusting. The fries tasted like the were sitting in old grease and were cold. The trash cans were overfilling and every table was dirty. So to sum up our experience We cleaned our own table, had no drinks and threw away half our food ( the fries) because it was literally to disgusting to eat. I will never return to this place. AVOID this McDonald's. We are at Burger King a few days prior. They were clean, friendly and had hot good food. I suggest eating there. read more
