I'm giving 4 stars because I could see the people working in this busy McD giving 100% full effort to take orders promptly and get the food out quickly to the customers. Anyway, I should also say that the food was all being freshly cooked, so while it is not organic, gourmet, blah, blah, it is what McD does and the quality of the items, i.e. burger, fries, drink...very basic...was good. My only issue was with their big screen TV size ordering screens. I'm fine with tech and trying to streamline the ordering process, but then one I was trying to use was not working, and rather than try to fix it or take it out if service, the employee said that it sometimes works and sometimes does not. Dying for the most expensive, cold and stale spicy chicken nuggets you'll ever have? Look no further! Despite being in the line of sight of 4+ employees, I had to flag someone down to get my order taken after many minutes of standing at the only "open" register. I ordered ten piece spicy chicken nuggets and a soda. The total price? $8.84. $7 for chicken nuggets?? I'm a broke college kid and I passed Panda Express in California because I figured I'd get a cheaper meal at McDonald's later down the road. I was wrong. My order number was called out before I even had a chance to put my wallet back in my pocket. I was so happy and figured that this was their redemption. I walked back to my car to eat my chicken, but it was lukewarm and stale. I chose not to give a 1 star review, because once I was finally helped, the cashier was kind and so was the woman who filled my soda cup. The food was usual for the establishment, the ambiance was that of any roadside dive; filled with tourists coming in for a bite to eat and a rest from driving the long desert stretch between Phoenix and LA, mixed with locals holding court with their dogs. Placing the order well the kiosk took my order, no issues there. The problem was with the service staff. After waiting for my food to be delivered to the table, and standing up when I saw the young woman looking for my table number, I approached her to tell her that order was mine. She responded with the rudest comment that I didn't need to come up to her with all that attitude. Before I could say anything she turned around and waved me away. I said "Excuse me?!" She answered "You heard me", never turning back and muttering that she didn't need my attitude and I was too much. A local patron came up to me and said "Welcome to Quartzite! Don't bother telling corporate about this because nothing ever gets done and this happens all the time". I was embarrassed and incensed at the same time. My family and I quickly ate our food. I was crying from being humiliated in from of the whole restaurant. I will never forget this horrible experience and do not recommend coming here. Not one single employee or manager came up to apologize. This McDonald's is the antithesis of their slogan. I'm hating it! read more

I don't stop at McDonalds much at all but on the way to AZ we stopped at Quartzsite location. I ordered two of the two cheeseburger meals and it was $29! I know inflation has taken its toll but it hasn't been that long since I've ordered that meal. Maybe because it's in the middle of nowhere their prices are higher? Next time I'll wait to find an InNOut, their DD meal is only ten bucks. read more

The best customer service we've had at a McDonald's. The young gentleman, Chase, who was working when we stopped by was so helpful and courteous. Our order was served in a timely manner, bathrooms were clean, and when he wasn't busy he made sure to walk around and ask all the customers if he could get us anything else, as well as check that tables and chairs were clean. read more

Zero stars. Terrible experience. Worst ever. We brought our students here after a school trip. We told the manager on Friday (2days ago) that our group was coming. We arrived. Everyone ordered. We waited NEARLY TWO HOURS for everyone to get their food. We got here at 4:30 and it is now 6:20. When we were there Friday morning 4/28 the service was efficient and great. Tonight, 4/30, the manager ignored our orders. The numbers disappeared, the tickets were just sitting on a counter and not being expedited. She expedited the regular guests orders and ignored ours completely. The manager would not acknowledge us!! The employees did a better job helping us out. Everything was so disorganized! The employees here are pleasant and hard working. You can tell they make an effort and are doing their best. Compared to the majority of McDonald's the staff here keep their establishment very clean and are consistently hardworking; this is an accomplishment as this store is constantly busy with customers. read more

This place is disgusting. it should be closed down. I first went to wash my hand before getting food. The sink water is brown. So that's what the employees are washing with if they are washing at all. Then order the food and it was wrong. I went back to let them know and a girl took it and forgot about it. While waiting they told another customer that his food disappeared. I get a hold of another worker and told her the girl that took my orders name and she said we don't have anyone with that name here. I point to the girl and said her name and like magic she turned around. I got my food and it was wrong again. My mcdonald's experience here made me realize there is a type of food called slow food. and it is exactly like it sounds, the opposite of fast food. i have waited 25 minutes for my order of hamburger, spicy chicken sandwich, fries, and an iced coffee. when i got my food my hamburger had no ketchup, onions, or pickles on it. when they called me to pick up my order i still had to wait to get the iced coffee. there is a burger king very close. just go there. also when we were here there was a lady running the food from the "kitchen" to the pick up spot and she eventually got pissed and started yelling at some people. that was entertaining for a bit. yelp might need to start a new category called slow food and just put this mcdonald's in that section. read more

This may be the worst run McDonalds I've ever experienced. Absolutely not a collective shred of people skill in the whole staff. Ask for your drink cup, which they have forgotten, and without a word of in reply they turn, get one and hand it to you, without acknowledging you exist. Asked someone else about the order. No response. It's like they've been trained to be rude. Customers generally seem to bother them. I'm sure this is a franchisee store, not a corporate one. A fat cat owner with a busy store like this doing, I'm sure, $3 million-plus a year is making a lot of money. He/she undoubtedly does not live in Quartzsite, probably Phoenix, LA or Dan Diego. Tracy was very friendly & very patient especially with the people that were in front of us. She made sure they got what they wanted in a fast manner as well. The line moved fairly quickly. We stopped here mainly to use the restroom, which was helpful to see the golden arches up on the sky before the off ramp. Restroom (woman's) was clean & enough stalls for NO line thank goodness. We tried the New McNuggets which to me tasted pretty much the same but that's good for me. The inside was very modern & new looking which was also very nice. read more

On our way out of CA we stopped for breakfast, employees were not friendly, dinner room was dirty, straw covers all over, chairs all out! On our way back to CA (almost 2 wks later) THE SAME, unfriendly, matter of fact my husband asked if that was a quarter had lettuce in it and the cashier asked him if he had ever had a quarter pounder! Just 2 quarter pounders, 1 large fry, 1 large drink was 16.00 They didn't give me a receipt so I can't provide a survey or see if I was charged correctly. Stopped by here on our way from Phoenix to go back to Orange County, CA! The staff was really friendly at the drive-thru and they were wearing masks and gloves. We got here at around 11AM (just 30 minutes past breakfast! So if you want breakfast, make sure to go before 10:30AM ) and ordered really quickly. Once paid, the second window had us wait at the drive-thru parking to wait for our food to finish (which was less than 5 minutes for fresh fries)! Everyone here was lovely and the food was great for our small pit stop on the way home. There's a gas station right next to it if you need to get that too! read more

I don't know why this McDonald's has low reviews. We don't usually go to too many McDonald's but pulled in today, Saturday, at 12:30 PM. They were quite busy but there's plenty of parking. Everybody was friendly, the bathrooms were clean, the food came out within 10 minutes and was piping hot, and it tasted pretty good. We ordered a regular burger and a Bic Mc. The staff was great, the prices and food were not. You don't pay these prices even at the airport! Coming from the food business I know these chains pay the same rate for food items. The prices are negotiated with vendors by McDonald's corporate office, so why this specific McDonald's charges almost $3 more for an egg McMuffin meal with a drink is beyond me. I have paid as much as $5.62, yet this one charges $8.51? Talk about highway robbery! The sandwich and hash brown was so salty it was difficult to eat. It was a waste of money! The worst quarter pounder I have ever had. I bit into the burger to find a burnt Crunchy something. I some how managed to choke it down and then got another bit of the same. I just about threw up but was able to spit out the pour excuse of a burger. This is after I'm asked to pull forward from the drive thru so McDonalds can manipulate the wait time. The employee are talking on their cell phone in front of a line of customer's. We requested our cheeseburger to have cheese and we asked twice and they couldn't get it right. I asked for a refund and the manger went and hide in the back and send the employee who messed up my cheeseburger to give me the refund which he hesitated and was rude once the money was handed!
