Once again I am reminded that I only visit this McD because it's on the way to someplace else. A little while ago I ordered a large burger meal and was asked to park in one of the designated pickup spots since the food wasn't ready. When the guy brought out my stuff I should've looked to see if he was still chewing. The "large" fries were barely halfway filled and there were no stragglers in the bag. They were piping hot but looks like someone else got to them first (allegedly). I would like to get what I paid for -nothing more or else. read more

Service was ridiculous last evening and I needed to calm down before I wrote this. The manager was incredibly ignorant and rude to my husband. She argued over the validity of the McDonald's app that she herself had no idea how to use. If you encourage customers to use the app, as a manger you must be capable of navigating said app. Traveling the country for his business, I have encountered varying levels of service indicative of the people in that area. As a resident of Kenhorst, only a few blocks away, I implore upper management to do better at their selection of individuals whom manage the evening shift. Long story short, she short us out of 6,000 points and refused to honor the app that indicates we were charged for a drink and the points were deducted for a happy meal. This was the worst McDonald's experience I've had. Went on Saturday morning with granddaughters ordered on kiosk (they had cash) I ordered on the app. The girls were instructed by kiosk to go to counter to pay where a gentleman already was waiting for 10 minutes!!! We asked for staff to come to the front counter & we're told as soon as they finish the Door Dash orders...7 minutes later an employee came to front desk to take gentleman's order & the girl's money . I didnt want to go thru drive thru so I walked in. Waited 10 minutes til someone, the manager, came to the register to take my order. After ordering I realized the soda machines had signs on them and both were out of order. I called over and a worker came to counter. Asked if I could have half regular and half diet coke. She rolled her eyes and called over another girl came over. Possibly the assistant manager. Asked her the same. And I was told no. They couldn't do that. Has to be either one or the other. I went there in the morning and placed a mobile order. The manger was a girl and who was very rude to me saying I needed to pay more for my order when I already paid through the app. I showed her and she still said I needed to pay for my food when it was taken out of my account. Best McDonald's in berks county by far. Got a bunch of food and they got everything right the burgers were put together perfectly.

I order my food through mobile order. I ask for double cheeseburger, they gave me a single cheeseburger. The sprite taste weird too.

Food was terrible. All of our food was cold and gross. Our kids wouldn't even eat it. Very unimpressed and disgusted.

Considering the disorganized manner of our drive thru order at 2AM with a carful of giddy people after a drag show; They amazed us all with their speed, accuracy & customer service. Stay away. I was passing through and decided to stop here. The one employee said I was eligible for a discount and free fries if I buy one. She said it was buy one get one free. I also ordered a fish sandwich. I went through the drive through and the buy one get one free fries was a lie. Also they messed up my fish sandwich. I complained to the on site manager and nothing happened. I ended up writing a letter of complaint and a franchesca, the owner contacted me. Place is newly renovated, now sever break defeat 24-7.just a normal McDonald's in reading near a lot of car places. Noting really to say about it it's just a McDonald's haha. Seats are comfortable, barely any lines on a Sunday. The interior is so nice I wish my house was themed like this. It's very abstract and modern and I love it. It very welcoming. read more
