Filthy
Brandon S.

Consistently the single most dysfunctional McDonalds location I've ever been to. I end up here on occasion as the kiddos will demand to have their cheeseburger and nuggets quota filled. Count on your order being wrong but don't bother double checking the bag. Last week, an order with 2 cheeseburger meals and a mc crispy meal. They forgot the mc crispy, one of the burger meal's fries and didn't put cheese on any of the burgers. This week, a raw mc crispy...utterly disgusting...with no pickles. As if the 100% error rate wasn't bad enough, inside you'll find an absolutely filthy store that's regularly out of soap and towels. So, so, SO nasty. Do yourself a favor and find a different store.

Gross
Earnie G.

I have no idea how McDonald's allows this location to remain open. It's a terribly rundown, unmaintained, and fairly dirty location. You can see this starting outside, with rotting wood and lack of paint in many areas. It's literally falling apart in places. Once you enter, it doesn't get any better. The floor has the odd greasy film grossness that those of you who have worked in fast food will know from the kitchen area. Good fast food operators ensure their floors are cleaned in the kitchen several times a day to keep it at bay. Places like this allow that floor "feeling" to migrate throughout the restaurant, including into the public areas. This is one of the latter. Counters are either dirty or have swirl marks from being cleaned with a dirty cloth. Spills and stains abound on many surfaces. The handwashing sink up front looks like it has mold around it. Spots of black something are in other places on, around, and under counters, drink machines, condiment stations, and more. The playground is closed. We asked why and were told it's been closed for months because "something unsafe in there needs to be fixed." But no one has bothered actually to fix it. We certainly will not be returning to this rundown dump of a McDonald's.

Got a burger that was fully raw, and then the burger that we got to replace was also completely raw

wrong order, missing items

Joel the store manager today, April 29. Tuesday is the worst Manager and shift leader ever in the history of McDonald's I go in hungry after my 12 hour shift at work and I go in trying to order some food I pay for a four piece chicken tender, which is 699 before tax. I get a free McChicken And I end up walking out with four piece, chicken nuggets and a McChicken so they are charging me for the tenders and only giving me nuggets. I go back and complain and they give me a my chicken tenders and let me keep the nuggets and then while I was there, I decided to order a plain Sunday and they end up giving me a chocolate sundae. Every single time I go and Joel is working my food is either messed up missing or just completely wrong and they still charge me for it This needs to get fixed ASAP if I go in and pay for the food I want I better come out with the food I paid for not no substitutes. I wish I could give zero stars or negative stars this place deserves better management.

Dangling sign
Eva M.

I'm writing this review mostly to post the picture - a dangling sign that is meant to show you when your order is ready. Classy. Seriously, it's a McD. They tend to be 'meh'. Some locations are definitely better than others; this location is decidedly in the latter category right now. Plus: - They have a good size play area outside. I'm sure parents appreciate it. Minus: - Very low staff. There's only one cashier in the front with customers 6 to 8 people deep during a Sunday lunch time. - It's oooooold. Definitely need a remodel. If you want a newer alternative, check out the McD on NE85th in Kirkland instead. Don't ask me about food. I don't eat there.

DAVES HOT CHICKEN @ REDMOND…read more Parking is honestly pretty horrible here. You'll really only find street parking unless anyone knows of a parking lot nearby. Since it's located in downtown Redmond, parking can be a bit of a challenge. The area itself is very walkable though, with plenty of shops around Redmond Town Center. You could honestly park at Redmond Town Center and walk over to Dave's Hot Chicken, it'll probably take about 10 to 15 minutes. Otherwise, you can try your luck with street parking, especially if you're just doing a quick pickup. I really wanted to try their mozzarella sticks, so I got the $10 combo that came with three mozzarella sticks, fries, and a drink. I ordered them at Medium heat and kind of wish I could've chosen different spice levels for each stick, but they were still really good. The place was honestly super crowded when I went. I feel like Dave's Hot Chicken is just an overall great chicken spot, and if you haven't tried their chicken yet, it's definitely a must. This time, though, I specifically wanted to try the mozzarella sticks. I placed a pickup order and got my food pretty quickly. They even had samples of their slushies and drinks available to try. The staff were super friendly, and the overall vibes were great. The atmosphere is really cool, and I love the design and branding of Dave's Hot Chicken. Overall, I had a great experience, loved the food, and would definitely come back again.

I ordered online to try and save some of the wait time, but we were waiting to pick up way after our scheduled time. If the food was good, I'd be OK with it -- but this was the saltiest meal I've ever had in my entire life. I don't know how else to put it. The chicken in the sliders was coated in powder that hurt my mouth, the sauce hurt too, the pickles were even worse, and even the fries and mac&cheese were too salty! All of this compounded like crazy and there was just nothing you could do to escape it. I choked this down, really. The chicken wasn't very close to being juicy. It was expensive too, can't just let it go to waste. One star for the very secure togo packaging and another for the nice presentation (bright reds, greens, yellows) it had. But man, the spice isn't good (or there) and the salt is just awful!

Everything seems cooked to order. My favorites dishes are the japchae and squid. Our family took advantage of the chicken's ability to maintain their crispiness, even for carry-out. It was OK, though a little confusing. Once we settled on KFC for dinner, our hosts (daughter and son-in-law) suggested carryout from 'The Third Place', which was a little out of the way from where we were. It is the Third restaurant opened by the owner, all Seattle area locations known for her KFC (Shin Sung Korean restaurant with Underground Kitchen and the since closed Yeon's Chicken). The chicken was ordered beforehand, and because it is prepared fresh when ordered, it took a bit of time for the order to be complete. There is a limited amount of sauce choices, so we chose Honey Garlic ($23.99) and the classic Yangnyum ($23.99), both marked as Whole Chicken size. Also a side order of french fries ($7.99) completed the order. The fries were good: nice and hot, heavily battered potatoes, providing a nice amount of carbs to go with the fried chicken. The chicken came with pickled radish (chicken-mu) which for me is a must, and it was good. In terms of the chicken, they were all wings, which isn't what I expected: getting the breast and thigh pieces chopped into bite-size pieces, battered and sauced, is what makes it KFC, vs all wings which is more like a Buffalo wing restaurant. So we still got the expected 14 pieces, but they were all wings (flats and drums). I thought the sauces were fine (intentionally ordered mild), and the chicken did maintain a crunch (though not as shattering as the best we've had).

I suggested fast-casual, and he promptly discovered Coastline Burgers like he'd uncovered a hidden gem. Meanwhile, I had a flashback to a fancy dinner here with my husband back in 2008 in the Historic Stone House of Redmond--so clearly, we were both feeling nostalgic and hungry. First win: **parking.** In downtown Redmond. A true miracle. Second win: the vibe--warm, welcoming, cozy, and matched perfectly by genuinely friendly staff. My son kept it classic: plain cheeseburger, fries, and a cookies-and-cream milkshake. His official review: "Five out of five stars." His unofficial review: intense nodding while eating and zero leftovers. So yes, according to a very serious teenage food critic, this place is elite.

But unfortunately, just like when I first tried Coastline Burgers in Kirkland, I thought it was A-O-K. Some positives of Coastline Burgers are that there's dedicated parking right by the building, is centrally located to the park, Redmond Town Center and other businesses downtown, and the friendly staff and outdoor seating. Again, the stone house building that Coastline snagged is truly a win for the place since it's one of the few historic buildings still standing in the area. But when it comes down to the actual food, the reason why you come here, I can't say I was all that jazzed. I ordered the classic burger with an extra patty, fries and a side of ranch. Is it weird that the best part of my meal was their house-made ranch? I know my ranches, and this one slaps. It's zesty, creamy and flavorful, which is what you need for dipping. This made the skinny fries all the more tolerable. However, I should say that in general, I'm not a fan of skinny fries where you need to grab a bunch to chomp on. But they're decent. They were crispy and freshly fried, so that was cool. But the burger was the biggest disappointment. I think the bun to beef ratio was off, tasting more of the dry bun than anything else. The beef itself was not bad, but wish it was just a tad more seasoned, especially to cut through the dry bun. But it was juicy and not well-done, which I liked, including my dog! Overall, for getting a burger in downtown Redmond in a casual spot where you don't have to wine and dine, Coastline Burgers is one of the few options to do so, if not the only one...question mark? If you're willing to spend more and not in a hurry, I'd recommend walking over to one of the restaurants around that serves a quality burger.

The chicken is incredibly tender and there are some nice fatty pieces in there that add a lot of richness and flavor. Exactly what you want from a proper Hainan chicken. It comes with two sauces and both are delicious. I personally felt like it was missing a soy sauce component, but then again the ginger sauce does a great job of tying everything together so I get why they went that route. Small thing overall. I did takeout and the whole process was quick and painless. The soup that came with it was really flavorful and had just the right amount of salted elements to help cut through the richness of the chicken. A nice touch that rounded out the meal. One thing worth mentioning is that I noticed it was available on DoorDash for a bit cheaper, so if you are ordering in, that might be the move. But if you are picking up in person the experience is smooth either way. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Very solid, especially coming from an LA Native
