First and foremost, I actually really like McDonalds in general, so keep that in mind while I relate my experience at this particular location. Came here for a drive-thru order, only looking to get a double-cheeseburger. Somehow, while the ordering process proceeded quickly, I waited TEN MINUTES sitting at the window waiting to receive the food. The window attendant seemed helpless to do anything about the situation while she made frequent trips between us and the back of the kitchen. The burger was good, though there's no excuse for having had to wait this long. I think I'll pass on coming to this location in the future. We asked for a refund and were told that they couldn't refund because we hadn't ordered through the app. I emailed the franchise owner who said I would need to return to the store to get a refund even though the store already told me they couldn't plus I was just passing through Richmond and won't drive 6 hours back. They couldn't pull up my order on the app after showing it to them. Finally told me to pull around and ask for a manager. Manager gave serious attitude and then had me sit in a parking spot so they can bring it out. I set a time for five minutes and went inside. I saw a car in front of me was also parked. I had to tell the cashier about my order and someone said it was sitting right there and he just handed it to me. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to I just had to post my experience I don't really review fast food unless it's exceptionally bad. I can her with two friends and immediately we wish we hadn't walked in. It took ten minutes for the lady to take the person in front of us order. Then we ordered all simple items but the cashier did not seem to understand anything we were asking her. She kept talking bad about her coworker instead of taking out order. It took 45 minutes to get our food and the order wasn't even right. After we walked out the cashier came outside and literally took off her pants and started twerking in front of a friends car. Only at McDonald's can you go one day and have it be perfect and the next have a lady talk over you after they make a mistake on an order. We ordered two meals plus a sandwich and wanted to use a coupon from the app. We were informed that we couldn't use the coupon, which is totally fine, and we just asked to not add the sandwich. The lady who explained this was not kind however. When we pulled up to the window we find out she deleted everything off the order except for the one combo, so we asked to have that added and they said no to pull around and go through the drive through again. After trying to explain our order the same rude lady walked away mid sentence. We asked for our money back and they told us we had to come inside and we refused. They issued a refund and we went to the McDonald's in Manchester where we got lunch since breakfast was no longer available and had a pleasant experience. We doordashed food from here last night and I have to say it was the worst McDonald's I've ever had. All of our food was cold (not lukewarm but COLD) and the amount of time it took for our DDer to bring us the food would not have resulted in food that cold. Went up to pick up my food at the drive thru, lady opens the window and confirms that I had two iced vanilla lattes and then when I try to ask for ketchup and sweet and sour sauce she cuts me off. This location was not our first choice for breakfast but since we couldn't find a decent Starbucks in the area with parking that wasn't attached to VCU McDonald's it was. It's been a long time since I've eaten at a McDonald's so I had to look at the menu for a while to figure out what I wanted but the gal behind the counter was polite and friendly and they made our iced coffees well and quickly. I ordered the yogurt parfait because I've had one of their yogurt parfaits courtesy of a co-worker who always buys them on the way in to work and knew it was delicious. As the other reviews attest, this place is terrible. I have only ever gone out of dire necessity, and been severely disappointed the last few times, thus compelling me to write this review. On one of my last two visits, after explicitly stating that I wanted a hot coffee drink at 8AM, I was finally handed an iced drink upon having waited an inordinate amount of time.
