Crunchy, crispy and delicious! The original alone is some of the best fried wings I've had. Service was friendly and quick. They even included a free donut.

I've been wanting to visit this 92Chicken forever and am so happy my friend and I finally checked it out on Friday. ***LOCATION*** This 92Chicken is located in Jackson Ward on Broad and Jefferson. There is plenty of free street parking nearby. If you can't find a spot on Broad, there are lots of spots on Marshall st. You can also take the Pulse or bike here. ***EXPERIENCE*** We came on a Friday evening around dinner time. It wasn't too busy. We ordered our food on a screen and were handed a buzzer for when our food was ready. Their box meals are incredible deals. They come with plenty of food, fries, and a drink. They have options that are just the chicken, but the box meals are too good to pass. I adore Korean fried chicken so was familiar with the flavors. I got one of my faves, honey garlic. I ordered the nugget box meal and was so happy with how crunchy, fresh, and tasty it was. The fries were great too. My friend got the chicken sando box meal and it was HUGE! It was cooked to perfection. He found it to be a bit plain, but the sauce he got on the side really elevated it and he adored the dish. There are a lot of seating options available. We got a nice seat by the window which was perfect for people watching. The people who work here are super kind and lovely. ***PRICE*** My meal was about $16 with tip/tax. And this was a lot of food. ***BATHROOM*** There is a single gender neutral bathroom available for customers. You have to ask for a key to use it. ***CONCLUSION*** If you're craving fresh and delicious Korean fried chicken with tons of sauce options, I highly recommend checking out 92Chicken. You won't regret it!

This is a new restaurant in Jackson Ward and I was excited to try it. The restaurant was really clean and the service was polite. I asked a few questions and the older lady went and got who I presume to be her husband to help me further. I ended up ordering at one of the kiosks. While I waited, I went to the bathroom and it was clean. The bathroom key was HILARIOUS. I got the spicy garlic flavor, but they have a ton of options for sauces as well as chicken type (half, whole, tenders, wings, nuggets, strips). The wings are HUGE. There were moments where I was on the fence about whether they were cooked through enough, but I just rollled with it because they tasted good. This is not the best Korean Fried Chicken I've ever had, but I'd return. It's on the expensive side though. Each wing is nearly $2. As a transplant from Atlanta that's crazy.

Didn't expect too much from Korean Fried Chicken in downtown Richmond, but it was actually overall pretty decent! We got 3 halves which was pretty okay for 3 people. Red Hot Pepper chicken tasted very good, and was about as spicy as a "medium" at an average spicy chicken restaurant. Soy Garlic Spring Onion was probably our favorite one. When you get a bite of the chicken with the spring onion? Tastes PRETTY darn good. Original - probably the least favorite since it was somewhat dry, and the breading to meat ratio was not as good as the other chickens we got. And the flavor was not very strong. Overall, solid spot near a college campus to satisfy a korean fried chicken craving/itch when jn downtown Richmond.

On my last night in Richmond, I stopped by this place to try their chicken wings. It was not very busy but there is a bit of a wait since the wings are made to order. The place itself is kind of like a corner store vibe vs a restaurant but it was clean. They also said they were getting ready to start offering Boba soon. The wings had the perfect crunch and were juicy on the inside. I had a side of waffle fries with them. In all, the food was really good and I would return if I return to Richmond.

First day, I think I was one of the first customers. The person behind the counter and cook, were both very friendly. I suspect they are the owners. There are multiple flavors / sauces with the chicken. I also believe it's offered in different forms, nuggets, fingers, drum sticks, or full chicken. I normally don't order fast food, especially fried fast food, but given that, this was tasty. I liked the sweet and spicy Yangyeom sauce. The Waffle French fries were good. It seemed like a very big plate of food. They may have given me extra as I was the first or one of the first customers.

Saw a new Korean fried chicken place opened and decided to try!! The fried chicken was crispy and juicy. I think with the amount of chicken you get, the price is definitely reasonable. Also, you get pickled radish on the side. The owners were super sweet. You order on a kiosk and the order came out really quick. It is located on broad street so relatively close to VCU campus. The place is new so it is very clean inside. I hope to go back to try more chicken and also all the different sauces as well!

Really good chicken place! The chicken was really juicy and fresh. Every piece was crispy! We chose to get the Yangyeom sauce on the side! It was a 10/10 on sauce, pretty spicy but flavorful! I would reccomend! Parking is a bit difficult though as it's near a main road. There is a fair amount of seating too! Wish our order came with radish! Workers were nice and polite!

Every item on their menu is packed with flavor and made with care. The chicken was incredibly juicy and fried to crispy perfection. The spring onions were fresh, donuts were soft and chewy on the inside with a crunchy coating. The inside offers a quaint environment with friendly staff who will often throw in an extra donut sometimes or go out of the way to make sure you can fully enjoy your meal. Great spot for lunch and dinner, and incredibly convenient for a quick drink before heading on the Pulse.

I got the shiitake mushroom savory udon noodles on my last visit and wished they had a bit more flavor. The time before that I got the japchae that was way too oily for me. They even have vegan kimchi and were so nice to bring out vegan gochujang because the one they have on the table is not vegan. We got the dolsat bibimbap and I always say the stone bowl is absolutely worth the extra money. The best part is always the crispy rice. Tteokbokki Having a vegan option without seafood was a great find. Most of the time the sauces have shellfish in them and I don't have the patience to make it from scratch. The noodles were cooked perfectly and they give you two vegetable dumplings on top. The sauce was nice and spicy without being too overwhelming. Kimchi pancakes: wish they had a bit more kimchi in them than the batter, but still good. Japchae with tofu, nice and almost beefy tasting. The black pepper was a nice punch. Korean fried tofu so nice and crispy with a really good sauce. I have been missing KFC since I turned vegan and good to know they have a good substitute for it. Service A good sized family run place where you can sit down or get take out. You order at the counter and they have a screen or you can be like us and take their paper menu to a table. A few four sized tables and some smaller two seaters. There was plenty of take out and delivery while we were seated. The person at the front was super helpful and patient as we tried to figure out what to order. They seemed busy and did not stop for too long the entire time. They came to bring us things and check in on us. Please use reusable cups for dining in and not styrofoam cups though! They have reusable utensils which is nice. Ambiance It's a fast casual place, but in a little strip mall in the county. They have K-pop playing and a stream of music videos so I didn't mind.

This place is consistent and clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is dangerously good. As many have said, you have to know what you're doing in order to make the most of this experience, and it IS an experience. You'll choose a soup base (all of them are good) which the waiters will bring and heat on your table. Then you'll hit the buffet and grab anything you want to add to your soup (they have all sorts of noodles, veggies, seafood and more). You'll also grab any meats you want to cook on your table's little grill. What I especially love is that the KBBQ and hot pot are all one flat rate, you don't have to order anything but your soup base and any drinks. I recommend getting a big plate for all of your soup add ons, and a small plate for your raw meats. They'll give you tongs to cook the meat and a giant pair of scissors to cut everything (wait to cut the meat until it's cooked). Apologies for the novel above, but maybe it will help someone. Yes it can be overwhelming if you're not used to the cuisine, but it is WORTH trying that something new. Qpot also has a full Chinese buffet, great for kids who are scared of the grill and the soup. We are truly in love with this restaurant. Thanks for always showing us a good time!

This is the kind of food that makes you stop mid-conversation and comment on how good it is. The bar service was equally impressive. We placed our order through the bartender, and despite it being a Tuesday evening, there was plenty of staff on hand. Multiple team members checked on us throughout our visit, and every interaction was friendly, welcoming, and genuine. What really stood out was the sense of community. I really wanted to try the kimchi fried rice, but that comes in a pretty big serving and they didn't have that as a side option. So I ordered white rice. The waiter said he's gonna ask if I can get a side of kimchi because that's also not an option as a side order. It's a no go for a side of kimchi. They said it's a different kind of kimchi they use for the rice dishes. Oh well, maybe I can suggest that be an option in the future. Someone told me that this place was better than Bonchon so I'm gonna compare the two. It's definitely a friendly, family atmosphere. Plenty of options on the menu. Outside dining as well as inside. Appears to be very clean. Rice - mushy not how I like it. it has a hint of something it's not regular white rice. But it's also not Jasmine because I like Jasmine rice. Interesting. I definitely expected better rice. Not rice pudding. I didn't know the wings came with French fries but they were bland. Not even any salt. Chicken- they only gave me 2 flats and 6 little drumsticks. Ok, it's a little spicy which was also unexpected. I really don't care for them at all. The waiter was nice and checked on me a few times. I wasn't offered any ranch or blue cheese or any other kind of dip for that matter. I asked if they had buttermilk ranch, they did not, just regular ranch. No offering of wetnaps either. I had to pour some water on a napkin to wipe my hands. Since I said I'm comparing, I'm gonna have to give it to Bonchon for the better wings, the better taste of the soy garlic, and the rice. Sorry bb.q I'm disappointed.
