Service was good and quick but the fries we got were soggy and unsalted. Would of gone back if not for the road trip.

Recently came here to grab some food and also grab a few things from the connected gas station next door. Staff was friendly and food was made in a timely fashion. Dining room is really quiet and empty but it's pretty busy in the drive thru. Solid reccomendation! read more

Pretty standard McD's ... the usual food and done nicely. What is nice about this McD's is that it is in the same building as the Shell service station. So in one stop you can go to the bathroom, gas up your car, and get a bite to eat. Service station has all the usual impulse items in a nice clean place. Easy-Peasy. read more

I ordered the Iced Pumpkin Coffee, appropriate for this time of the year. It is delicious, and I recommend it. Of course, they got all the goodies McDonald's is known for. I was really hoping for a Rally's/Checkers with a dining room experience here. Who am I kidding? I went for the WiFi and the air conditioning. I'd never been to this McDonald's on the north side of town. It's part of a Shell gas station and convenience store. I've been to those all over the country, including the Quizno's that is only about 2 miles away. Shell doesn't take over management of the restaurant any more than Texaco does, and that's a good thing. I ordered a cheeseburger in a combo meal. She asked if I wanted a large drink and I agreed to it. The total price was rather high, which I didn't understand, and as she looked at the display for the back-up person to get orders, she turned to ask me if I wanted 1 cheeseburger or 2. They have a 2 cheeseburger meal and that's what she selected. So, the manager came to help, and refunded everything and started again. She did the same thing. It was like cheeseburger combo meal training day. The next attempt, she asked me "So, you just wanted the cheeseburger by itself? and I probably looked a bit surprised, so I (irritatedly, probably) repeated "cheeseburger in a combo meal" with emphasis on "combo meal" again. I must have said it 6 times before I got my food, plus I said "fries and a drink, also". Since I was mostly there for something other than food, I suppose it worked out, but is it so difficult to understand a simple order? It's a good thing I didn't ask for extra ketchup on the sandwich. Zero stars!!! I just ordered and the register had a very, very, very bad attitude , she sucked! I asked her how she was doing and she goes "it could be better" rolling her eyes. Three customers showed back to the register while I was waiting for my food, one said his fries were missing from the order, another gentleman showed up and said his fries were soggy and a third customer showed up complaining her quarterpounder burger was hard as a rock thinking it had not been fully cooked, meat was still raw . Service truly sucked, bad! I know it's fast food and I'm complaining a bit much but come on! Get rid of the attitude and try to serve good food! read more

What are the number one, a number to 2a, and the number five. I was not asked about sauce for the Nuggets, so I told him the sauce for the Nuggets, and then they forget the sauce for the nuggets. Didn't ask me for the drink so I told him a Coke and instead they had an extra Coke and charge me for it didn't show the order on the screen first person at the drive-through took my card, but refused to give me a receipt, saying the next window would they give me the receipt. The next window did not give me a receipt, I told them to take the extra cook back, I didn't waited for straws that they didn't provide, and for the sauce that I wasn't given. I go inside, ask for the receipt telling them that I'm going to be asking for a refund for the coke they charge me for. Manager yells to the crew as I'm leaving asking if they got that extra Coke back. Worried less about the Coke and train your people to give out receipts at the first window, ask for the sauce, give the sauce, and also give straws This is not rocket science read more

I ordered a number 1 big Mac combo large with a diet coke, and a 10 piece nugget with sweet and sour, and a Carmel Frappe. Instead I got a dbl cheeseburger, medium fry, large diet coke and my frappe is like drinking a cold coffee without ice. I've called literally 8 times and nobody answered the phone! I want a refund or put on the books for a free meal. It's complete bullshit. I've worked in the food industry for many years and never in my life have I ever gone to a McDonald's and have so many problems every other time. THE ONLY REASON WE GO THERE IS BECAUSE THE NEXT ONE CLOSEST TO ME IS WINCHESTER! BEYOND PISSED. I CANT EVEN GET A FKN PERSON TO ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!! read more

We conveniently eased off of I-70, & there was a SHELL Fuel Station, McD's & when inside I found a STORE. With a large selection of DRINKS, SNACKS, FOODS & Restaurant, we were able to get hot meals, stock up on groceries, & refuel, all in a convenient, clean, courteous location. read more

Stopped for gas around Midnite and grabbed a bite. Would have been better off with pre packaged gas station food. Both fish sandwiches were about the size of a playing card and about half the normal thickness. They were dry, over cooked, and without taste. The big mac pattys were about 3/16 inch thick. These never could have come from McDonalds supplies. They have to be docktoring them up to maximize profits, at lease late at nite when nobody else is open. By the time you realize what you have you're miles down the road. Have been going to McDonalds since opening in Desplains. Pretty consistant even in Europe. If this was my first time I would never have gone back 50 some years ago. read more
