Funny thing... I often find myself making trips through Ohio but, never been able to stop and try the local cuisine, at least until recently. Skyline Chili is damn there at every exit I see. I've seen a food program or something, enlightening everyone about some strange concoction of "Chili and Spaghetti Noodles!" Horror I tell you. Well, don't knock it until you've tried it. I ordered not one but, seven loaded Coneys with a Greek salad! "I had to get something green." The restaurant presents a Dennys / Farmer Bros appearance. The hotdogs were good and their hot sauce is a great add on. I paid roughly thirty dollars for the whole meal, not including the tip. The service and atmosphere were unique. My order: -3 coneys with habanero cheese, mustard, and onions -2 coneys with habanero cheese, no chili, and no mustard -cheese fries with habanero cheese Not a single item had habanero cheese, all the coneys came with chili and mustard, they put chili on the cheese fries and the entire time the girls behind the counter are giggling and not listening to a word that's being said. Possibly the worst customer service and food quality I've ever experienced at a restaurant in my life. I will not be back to this location-ever again! Way overpriced for the lettuce and cheese I got with a sprinkling of actual chili at the very bottom of the container on my " deluxe burrito" .. I paid extra for the deluxe-why? Also, I ordered a burrito-not an overpriced salad. Seriously, what is this? (Pictures of food for reference) Food overall was cold.. cold chili. Ice cream floats at $7.50 each left much to be desired. Hardly enough soda in them to even make them drinkable. I had my Mom pick up the order and once I saw what they had gave her.. I immediately called in to get a refund or replacement on the "deluxe burrito". I was so confused why I got a container of lettuce and tomatoes. I ordered online and spent $45 and was told to take it up with DoorDash.. I don't have that app I just ordered online through skyline- and did the pickup option. I'll never do that again. I have eaten at Skyline Chili restaurants before. There used to be one in Richmond, which I loved. Unfortunately, it closed many years ago. If I come across a Skyline Chili when I am out of town, I will stop to eat there. I was in Eaton, OH, recently on my way to a show, and I did stop at their location. The restaurant was nice and clean. The waitress was very polite and took my order. I got my food quickly. I ordered the 4 way Chili, with cheese, onions, and beans, along with a Diet Pepsi. My food was hot and delicious. It was well worth it. I will stop here the next time I am in Eaton. It is not far for me to drive over here, but it is well worth it, because we don't have anything like this in Richmond anymore. read more

I typically only go through the drive thru when I eat here but the food is always good and hot.

This is big, bright and very clean chili parlor, with plenty of cheerful, courteous and competent staff. I've been here periodically over the past year or so for dining in and taking out. There never seemed to be a lack of help, a very good reflection on the family that owns this location. It's fun to sit on the side where you can see the food being prepared in a big open cooking area with big pots of steaming spaghetti, simmering chili and little Coney dogs. The other side has a lot more seating. There's a drive-through too. And a loyalty card that I'm working my way through for a free meal. Never a complaint about the food. If you're never tried Cincinnati style chili spaghetti this would be a great place to start! read more

Nothing beats the Midwest! Not only is there a drive thru but you can order inside for to go and a fast sit down service with a server! We were asked if we have eaten here before and I have not. They brought out a sample of their 3-way dish for me to try. And man was it good! Super interesting with the chili and pasta but was shocked by the flavor of the chili. Ended up getting the chili cheese fries, chicken bacon ranch wrap, and the 4 way dish with onions. The wrap was well mixed inside and a delicious bite each time. It has been a long time since I've been near one of these places. We were on a road trip and I planned to stop at one as we drive past. For a fast food type of place, the quality is very good. The service was better than what I'm used to seeing from places like this. Good prices as well for all the food they offer. I've never eaten at a Skyline Chili before and didn't know what to expect. To my surprise I was pleased. Never thought about Chile over spaghetti, without beans (I don't like many). Onions and beans can be ordered separate to suit your taste. For kinda fast food, and personal service this was a great spot. I will return and try some of the other items. read more

The food is still as good as ever for Skyline, but I don't think we'll be eating in the restaurant again. Recently remodeled, and the inside is LOUD and BRIGHT and GLARING. So if high-school cafeteria ambiance is what you're after, you'll love it! On the plus side though, service is great (until a server yells an order to the kitchen across the restaurant, see NOISE above), and fast. My family (with 3 kids under 10) go to this Skyline at least every 2 week. The food is SUPER Yummy for everyone from the 2 year old to Dad and Mom, but that is the case as almost all Skylines. What sets this skyline apart: The Service: Led by the new owners, typically at least one of the two owners are available to talk to (not that we need to) The servers and prep cooks have great attitudes that engage both the adults and the children. The restaurant is always clean (despite little ones like my mine who make messes). AND on Tuesday nights, kids eat free and enjoy making a free simply craft during the few minutes it takes to serve our food. I always look forward to eating at this skyline. read more

This Skyline staff is amazing! Greeted with a super happy welcome from the team. They are all happy and very attentive. Before eating, the experience was already awesome. The building is very clean inside and out. Then comes the food! Prepared with wonderful presentation. Super fresh and delicious. C'mon, man. When in OH-IO, you've got to eat some Skyline Chili! At least that's what I've heard from my Cincinnati friends. We're cruising through the state at the moment, so we looked one up. The location was very clean upon entering. We were promptly greeted and told to sit anywhere. Our awesome server Renee came over, dropped off some of the best oyster crackers I've ever had and took our drink orders. She asked if it was our first time and when we told her it was, she offered us a sample of their 3-way. Cool, it's off the bucket list now. The 3-way is their chili, spaghetti and shredded cheese. Now, I was a little surprised initially because the chili was sweeter than what I'm used to. That's not a bad thing at all, though! The sharpness of the cheese mixed with it was very distinctive. There's no other word for it and there's no other taste like it. Incredible. They also offer the funnest (yep, funnest) little plastic bibs you can wear while you eat! Complete with a little pocket on the bottom to catch any drippage. lol I loved that one side was attached with a small hole, so you can stick it right over the head of a kid without having to tie it! Adults can just pull the little tie loose and tie it up the regular way. We decided to order a small 3-way and a Coney dog each. Here comes another amazing part of this story: their hot sauce is actually hot, y'all! Like, seriously spicy! I was so amped! I love spiciness. The spicier, the better. I get so tired of going to places, hearing about how super hot their sauces are, getting excited and finding out it's a step up from Texas Pete. This stuff? It was legit! Good work, Skyline! Our bill was about $8.50 for all that and it was well worth it. Oh! And when the wonderful Renee came back to drop off our check, she told us the manager (the terrific Jessica) had a gift for us since it was our first time: some of those tasty crackers, a packet of the hot sauce, one of the bibs, a York peppermint patty, a frequent visitor card and a coupon for our next visit. Now I wish I lived in Ohio. If it weren't for the winters, that could be a thing. It's only 48 degrees right now and I'm already in a fleece. Thanks for the memories, Skyline! Dinner last night with the grandkids because kids eat free on Tuesday. When I come back to Ohio, Skyline is on my list of must eats. 4 way with beans and a coney or two, life is good. I wish I had gotten the servers name but if she reads this, she will know it's about her. First of all, I am familiar with Skyway but I've never eaten at one because in my younger days I cared about what I put in my body. If you've seen me lately, you will know that's no longer a priority. I saw the freeway sign on a long road trip between Dayton and Chicago and decided now was the time to add Skyway to my bucket list. After exiting the freeway, the sign said 5 miles. What?! I guess I really wanted it so I made the trek. That was 5 miles of beautiful Ohio farmland so it was seriously no big deal. Upon entering I was immediately confused. Do I order at the counter? Do I sit down? I'm sure they noticed that and someone came to my rescue and told me to sit wherever I wanted. A nice young lady came up to me and asked if it was my first time at Skyway. Again, it must have been the deer in the headlights look I had on my face entering the joint. I'm familiar with Skyway because I used to work with a bunch of guys based in Dayton so I knew there was a 3 way and a 4 way and so I went with the 4 way: spaghetti, chili(no beans), cheese and onions. The server asked me what size and described by her hands as child size - a ramekin, medium - if your not hungry and larger- a guy with a guy could handle. I chose the large. After receiving this huge bowl of 4 way, I kind of wished I had ordered the ramekin. That is really more cheese than a human should consume in one sitting. But that didn't stop me. The 4 way was good. The chili has either cinnamon or allspice in it- you can tell as no chili tastes like that. Not in a bad way-just different. The server was great. She engaged me in conversation and made sure everything was awesome for me. Someone even came over and acknowledged that it was my first time so they gave me a welcome bag with oyster crackers, hot sauce, a bib and a coupon. Pretty, pretty...cool. I should have ordered smaller as I couldn't finish it but surprisingly it wasn't a gut bomb. The long drive to Chicago was a nightmare of regret. I would go back and I will recommend because I would like to see if someone can eat that much shredded cheddar. To the server who served me, you were very nice and you made the experience an experience rather than just a place to eat 5 miles from the freeway exit. read more

This is a must have in the greater Cincinnati area. It is a wonderful establishment with tasty chili and noodle combinations. They also have baked potatoes, salads, wraps, chilitos, and french fries. All of which my family for years have enjoyed. I was elated to move from Cincy out this way and found this one in Eaton Ohio. The service is impeccable. Worst service and portion/quality of food I have had in a very long time. My family and I stopped to eat while traveling cross country on our move. We had the worst service ever. The girl didn't ask for refills or check on us, in fact when we asked for refills she asked if we wanted them in to go cups. We were still eating. Last time we went there we took one bite and it went in the trash! We got coney's and the little hot dogs were cold and hard, the buns were a soggy nasty mess and it's expensive! I do like the chili there and the chili cheese fries but the hot dogs are just nasty! In my opinion even Vienna sausages are better than those nasty cold things. The only dog I ever liked from there was when they had those Cheddar Metts! Those were amazing! Anyhow if I do get Skyline I get the chili on the side or it's just a soggy nasty mess! read more

Since the Morelands took over management this restaurant has really become a great place to eat! We always get great service, the atmosphere is always pleasant.
