Not going to lie, we were at the beach and the kids wanted McDonald's had I known it was so far away from Jacob Riis park I'd have gone to the one on Flatbush. Nevertheless I placed my order and by the time I realized how far away this one was, it was too late. I then saw their Yelp rating and was like oh my god. What have I done. However, I was pleasantly surprised!! The only thing missing were napkins. The staff was pleasant and even got my order right. The best part? Every single item was fresh fresh fresh. Like most restaurants in this area unfortunately the service is not always the best. The drive thru is almost always slow and congested so most times I just go inside. There rarely any lines inside but the service is still slow. They also seem to rarely be able to scan your app at the drive thru which would allow customers to use the offered deals. I am greatful that they offer the new crafted signature line offered by McDonald's here because it's different and delicious. I honestly only return because they feature this new line. read more

This McDonald's has really changed a lot for the better. They got a complete face lift and their customer service is fantastic. You would think, it's just McDonald's but they got really tech savvy in here and have made great upgrades in here. They have these kiosks where you can order and customize your meal from the bun down to the toppings. Staff is really friendly and look happy to be there. This is a huge change from before. The place is also really clean and you see staff cleaning all the time. I haven't been in the bathrooms so I don't know how there maintained. I only gave 4 stars because they forgot something from my order a few times. They owe me about $10 worth of food. Going home only to realize they forgot someone's meal isn't cool. Since then I look in my bag everytime to ensure my order is complete. Also, they took out the playground for the kiddos to put more seating. read more
