The manager impressed us when he stopped for breakfast one morning, he was doin five things at once. The food was fine, you always know what to expect at The Gold Arches. Has anyone else noticed how expensive they seem to be lately, or is it just me? Anyway, one thing didn't impress us. My fiance had to log into her office for some important work while we ate. There was only one seat with a plug in the entire restaurant and that seat was taken up the entire time by a moping employee. Presumably they were on a break. The fiance managed to get her work done before her laptop ran out of battery but we were entirely put off by the employee and her manner. The manager knew we needed the space too, but never said anything to the brooding person. read more

My sons hamburger came without the meat (I specialized his hamburger to come with one hamburger paddy instead of 2) and when I took it up front to ask for the meat to be added on, she snatched it out of my hand and yelled that I don't have to be such a bitch as she walked away to the back. Men's bathroom was flooded when we came, the floors were still dirty with ketchup packets, napkins, lids and many other things from the night before. Not only have they over-modernized a kiosk inside the store, they have useless employees who just stand there and not even teach you how to use the kiosk inside? They assume everybody knows. I'm not "everybody." The employees make you feel disgraceful to ask for an employees help? After the run through and telling them what to omit from my burger? This resturaunt sucks, me, my sister, and my mom we're on a road trip from Colorado to Utah and we stopped here for lunch. We ordered a 20 piece chicken nugget with a medium drink, a 6 piece chicken nugget with fries and a drink, and a burger with a large drink. We placed a order on the kiosk at 1:33 and weren't served our food until 1:53. Very disappointed with service. If there was a 0 stars, that's what I'd give them. This restaurant has terrible service. We spent twenty minutes waiting for our simple order while other customers were served ahead of us who had ordered after us. The drive thru was prioritized, and the staff cared more about gossiping that working. One staff member was standing there talking about a bong in someone's car in the drive thru instead of working. UPDATE: Wow, this place just gets worse and worse. Really surprised they aren't closed. Orders are wrong every time we go there (no exaggeration) and it isn't just missing items they don't even make the menu items correctly, they leave off sauces, bacon is almost always missing, you have to ask for straws. The food smells bad, the store smells bad, some of the workers smell bad. Most of the food is very sloppy, its usually undercooked and almost always cold, and check the apples in your happy meal because they are usually out of date and your kids might not know before they bite into them. They always look busy but a lot of that is because they are so slow - you will sit in the drive thru for 10-20 minutes on average. And it is never the same employees working there. Management at this establishment is really, really bad. Try it for yourself but your going to be sick to your stomach later. *** This was a decent restaurant 10 years ago but now it is just horrible. The staff are ill-treated and it shows in their work. Orders are often incorrect and the food is always old (so old I've seen congealed fat on burgers and bone-dry grilled chicken). The staff can be friendly but the managers are almost always yelling at someone right in front of everyone. The restaurant is dirty and not well maintained for a chain restaurant. We stopped by on our way to Provo Wednesday, Jan 2. My husband went inside to order our to go breakfast sandwiches, two egg McMuffins and one sausage biscuit with egg. I opened the bag as we left and the immediate smell was not right but I couldn't put my finger on the reason. I soon found the problem. The sausage in my sausage biscuit with egg was going bad. I took a few small bites before realizing it was the sausage and threw the sandwich away. My husband said his egg McMuffins were ok. I have been reading local Facebook reviews recently that give poor marks to both the Vernal and Roosevelt McDonalds since they were both bought by the same new owners. What happened? I've never had any problems in the last 4 yrs with this place and just in the last month they have went down hill. From what I'm reading on here they went down hill 10 yrs ago. That I don't agree on. It's pretty sad when you go in the drive-in that has 2 lanes and make your simple order of 2 lrg meals and 1 happy meal. It takes 30 mins to get the order after they tell you to go park and they'll bring it out. Oh heck no. Other people are leaving after long waits and twice we got the wrong order. Finally had to leave as daughter-in-law had to get back to work. When she brought the food home which is only 1.5 miles away, the fries were ice cold, there was two quarter pounders and 3 small fries in the bag. Really??? I'm not sure what size fry she got because she had to get back to work. I guess we're going to have to find a different place to grab a meal. Gonna miss my quarter pounder and Ice Vanilla Coffee. :) read more
