Do not recommend this location due to the careless staff not being mindful of objects landing in food. My child almost choked on a small piece of plastic that was inside his chicken nugget box. Fortunately he spit it out and placed it next to his fries. If you all ever visit this location please check the items and ensure there's no objects that could be a hazard or result in a child's death. Definitely placed a formal complaint on their corporate website. Do not recommend this location.

Crowded cold mess

Dirty. Cold and crowded. I have no clue when it's 50 degrees outside they have the ac blasting. We had to clean our own table. After waiting for a bunch of uneducated people to finish. I can't believe how people will put themselves in front of a 4 year old. I wonder how they treat their grandmother. And I still can't get over the ac blasting while it's so cold outside.

Raw meat

Don't eat here! My hamburger was raw. 5 was raw and 1 was cooked. They tried to scam me on my refund. Attached a few of the hamburgers. The manager Lied to my face. Will not come back.

One glance at top coffee spots in the area and we were sold on Malvia! We called an Uber to take us over. Once dropped off on Avenida Revolución we read in other reviews that the shop can be a challenge to find - but we are a persistent bunch and figured it out. Here are simple directions to locate it: find the gastropub La Justina on Revolucion and walk down the stairs to the left of it. Then proceed forward until you see the unmistakably unique and cute decor of Malvia on the left. There are several tables outside then the coffee bar space at the store front. All the drinks looked delightful and it was a tough decision to select just one drink. A friend opted for an iced drink with coconut and espresso, I chose the "Dorado" which featured turmeric. It was sumptuous and refreshing - with a gold appearance from the turmeric. The espresso was tasty and there was just the right amount of sweetness. Super refreshing and highly recommended. Service was kind and prices are super reasonable. The sitting area was unique too - there's other neat stores in the area and the temperature was nice since we were underground. Overall, Malvia was excellent and definitely worth checking out. Thanks for the memorable experience!

The first few times I had come to grab a coffee, Malvia was either closed or I was just unable to find them. If you are using Google Maps my best advice is to get to the corner of Madero and Third and enter one of several doors which will lead you into a large market style space. Malvia is about a shoe-boxed sized cafe in Zona Centro. There are several tables in the front with seating for probably around twenty. On the afternoon of a June day I visited and ordered an iced latte. It was 45 pesos and probably around twenty ounces. It was very delicious and I was happy to sip on it while I walked to Gastro Telefonica. Malvia definitely fits into to the Tijuana craft coffee scene and I highly recommend you stop by to try out a caffeinated drink.

The menu options were simple, i don't know if making a concoction of flavors was possible but it didn't show. I like bitterness in my coffee and this had just a hint of it. We tried the mazapán and Mexican mocha, they were both good. Again, i prefer the stronger coffee flavor so for me it was subtle but still good. The flavor of mazapán was there but again, subtle. They were not overly sweet which I liked. We also tried a s'mores puerquito cookie which was also not overly sweet and good flavor. I will be back and ask if I could have my coffee made stronger, hopefully this helps! Our total for 2 coffees (hot and cold) and a puerquito was $14.50 Food/Coffee:**** Service:**** Ambiance:*

Now I get to go sit in less traffic with a smile on my face and a warm cuppa Joe in my hand Of course I had to order two different recipes. I got the cinnamon dolce and the rosemary iced latte. They are both perfectly made with the perfect amount of coffee to sugar ratio. She also had milk alternatives for me, so I got both with oat milk! Not to mention her website was so professional, and easy to use. Thanks again I hope your business thrives! Can't wait to come back next time I need a good coffee close to CBX! PS I'm buying two rosemary iced lattes next time!

I visited Coffee Bean today, and unfortunately, my experience at the register was disappointing…read more The cashier, Sofi, came across as rushed and unprofessional from the moment we started ordering. We asked what matcha flavors were available, and she told us they only had Classic Matcha and Strawberry Matcha. I asked if there were any other flavors, and she simply replied, "No." My friend then pointed to what looked like a coconut matcha on the menu board, and instead of explaining it, she just stared at us as if we were bothering her. We ended up ordering that one. She then asked if our order was to go because they were about to close. At that point, I understood why she seemed to have such an attitude, but customers who arrive during business hours shouldn't be made to feel rushed. I also asked if they had soy milk, and she bluntly replied, "No." When I asked what milk options they did have, she listed oat, almond, and nonfat. A little friendliness and willingness to help would have made a big difference. The good part of the experience was that the drinks were absolutely delicious, and the gentleman who handed us our drinks was kind, polite, and welcoming. I appreciate his great customer service. I hope this location reminds its staff that even when it's close to closing time, every customer deserves to be treated with patience and respect.
