Great friendly In-n-Out service! i came during my lunch- it was slightly busy. They got my order wrong. So i couldnt really enjoy my food. I asked for no onions extra spread. I got onions no spread. I couldve asked them to correct it but that'll take another 10mins after waiting 10mins in drive thru already and my lunch break is only 30 mins. I had a delicious double double cheeseburger with fries from this In-Out Burger, and that was with no salt on both the burger and fries. I only added black pepper to both the fries and the burger patty when they arrived. The burger was tasty. However, the burger patties were a little over cooked for my taste or a little on the dry side to clear that up. I asked for a side of pickles, which was grand. I liked these burgers with pickles. All the rest of the ingredients were fresh and very flavorful. The fries, too, were surprisingly good, too, even without the salt. They were crisp and tender. I just wish they carried Cholula for the fries. Customer service was very good. The gentlemen who took my order was on it. This location has inside and outside seating. read more

It's 12:46 pm and 8 minutes on a Monday. Yes, that's the time it took to get my order at the Outer Rd In&Out location. From the minute I placed the order with the drive-thru guy, up until I received the order at the window (burger and fries). Both window staff were friendly and polite, from beginning to end. The two didn't sound rushy or exhausted. Exceptional service. I had to ask for the store manager, just to let him that his window cashiers showed great customer service and care. The hamburger and French fries were good. No complaints here compared to the Clairemont Mesa location (hamburger bun was hard). Outer Road location has got to be the best looking landscape in South Bay area, so far. The palm trees, succulents, and the overall dry scape image makes the drive thru a scenic experience. Important to note, at the beginning of the parking lot entrance, one can easily miss the turn into the drive thru entrance, which leads to the drive thru itself. Pay attention. Way glad that Outer Road location opened up in my neighborhood. I use to take an 8-mile drive out to get to the next closest In&Out location, in National City. Recommend Outer Rd location read more

Not sure why there's another listed at 2420 Coronado Ave, San Diego, CA 92154. They're both the same location. Anyhow, this one has more stars so maybe it's the right one. This new location has a better setup to keep traffic off the roads. I'm not a really big fan of the taste of the burgers and I've always disliked the fries. As he is doing this he is greeting people as they walk in, he asked for my order number and brought it out to me before it was even called out. He see someone standing by a table and immediately wiped the table clean for them. He is asking people if he can remove the trash off their table. By far the worst in n out in San Diego, the line takes forever. On my last visit I ordered 2 double doubles, a flying dutchmen, fries,a lemon up, animal fries, and an iced tea. I also asked for pickles on the side and some peppers. Whoever packed my order thought it was a good idea to fill burger sleeves with the pickles i asked for which ultimately spilled in the bag soaking everything in pickle juice and covering my passenger seat in pickle juice. Not sure why they call it In N Out. The drive thru is a nightmare. You are going to SIT and Wait and wait and wait. They have two ways into the drive thru but close down one of the ways and don't provide proper signage. The parking lot is too small for the business they do and you need to ask yourself, is it worth it? I have gotten cold French fries and a messed-up order.
