Nice Chick-fil-A in the South Bay. I like their curbside pick up, which has a lot of spaces in the front. They also have a pretty big drive-through. I feel the drive-through is the best compared to all the other's in San Diego . The food is standard like any Chick-fil-A. The order ahead app works well. The "manager" Kate was rude and unprofessional, Instead of addressing my concern, she repeatedly pressed me to just take a refund, At no point did she attempt to assist or de-escalate the situation instead she rolled her eyes & told me to leave. After insisting many times to speak to upper management i spoke to Larry. He was able to resolve issue the right way & fulfill my order. This behavior reflects poorly on the company. This location is overwhelming and crowded. There is plenty of parking outside of the restaurant but not enough seating inside the restaurant for the amount of people there was. It was extremely busy that my pick up order took way longer than expected. When we received our food, no utensils or napkins were provided. The fries were a bit burnt and over fried. We also received the wrong sauces. I asked for water with no ice and it was filled with ice. Before getting ready to leave, I ordered an ice cream ahead of time. It took forever that we were provided two for the inconvenience. I give it three stars because the female worker actually helped us after seeing we didn't not receive our order correctly. read more

Between church fundraisers, school fundraisers and just making an impact with the local community...these guys will be at the forefront! I really used to love eating at Chick-fil-A. I probably ate there 3-4 times a week until recently. The food is good, customer service is exceptional and the restaurant itself is clean and well kept. I loved their salads and would order them on a regular basis. However, over the last month, the quality has declined. The portion of lettuce has become noticeably skimpy. The container used to look full, but lately it looks half empty. The lettuce is very sparse now compared with what it used to be. It feels like I'm paying the same price for a much smaller portion. It's a sneaky, but very common way for businesses to offset rising costs. This is definitely poor business ethics. Customers know when they're paying more but getting less. It's a practice that damages trust and loyalty in the long run. The franchise might save some money in the short term, but it risks losing loyal customers, like myself, who feel undervalued. This is a deal breaker for me. I've really enjoyed ordering salads at this restaurant in the past, but I think I'll save my money and just stick to making my own salads at home. I got to chick-fil-a around 10:20 by the time i got to order it was 10:25. Just to be greeted by Robert to tell me rudely the kitchen was closed. Closed at 10:25? I asked for breakfast I,understand it ends at 10:30 but it was not 10:30 yet. Once i got home i spoke to the manager and the manager let me know robert should've explained ti me as to why they could not serve me breakfast no more she said they were out of some items. Which is understandable but robert just rudely said they closed the kitchen at 10:25. Customer service at this location is horrible. I've been to the free Wednesday breakfast a couple of times with my little girls (6 and 8 yrs old ) every time I get free breakfast for the 3 of us. Today, I wanted to see if I could get it through the drive thru, so I called first, and I was told I had to go inside the store, so I did. I got there, and the manager, Dennise, told me that my girls could not get free breakfast because they needed to show the app on their phone or tablet, my daughters do NOT own any electronic devices they're only 6 and 8, so they could not get free breakfast. Things have gotten a lot more smooth with this restaurant which is to be expected with some time. The food is what you expect from Chick-fil-A, and the line isn't typically as long as other locations, which is something that has surprised me so far. I thought that Ocean View Hills and the surrounding neighborhoods would have this place packed constantly. During a recent visit, my daughter dropped red soda all over a table on accident. She was feeling horrible about it. The gentleman that often helps people in the lobby (so sorry I'm forgetting your name right now, sir) was very kind to my daughter, telling her that this happens all the time and he would take care of it. I am writing a review as the service aspect of this franchise has been a great experience. I have dealt with all levels of management at this location from the family owners to the mid level shift supervisors on several occasions. My daughter, as class officer for her school, had chik fil a requests for multiple school events with a limited class budget and each and every time, the management has worked with us to get large quantity catering orders to meet the needs of the school and children, within a set budget and expedite and deliver on the orders seamlessly with a smile.
