Service sucks and slow. Workers never pay attention to the orders up front. There's never a person at the register to handle the orders on the kiosk, or to take an order. The service just sucks. I made an order today for pickup and waited a half hour almost to an hour. I asked a couple workers how long it was going to take and I got a smart answer from the worker with blueish braids. Even though our curbside order took much longer than expected, when I called the store, the manager was transparent and honest, which I really appreciated. Maybe I caught them on an off night, but it took almost ten minutes between the time I placed my order to when someone came to the register so I could pay. I would've given them a pass for that because the drive through was pretty busy (I was one of only two people inside) and they can't control how many people are waiting, but once I finally got my food, half the chicken sandwich was basically raw. I don't mind waiting a bit because things happen, but the chicken wasn't even cooked all the way through. They can control that part. They've overlooked items in my order countless times, but I always check the bag, so it's usually not a big issue. Today, I sat in line for what felt like forever and in a rush went directly home after receiving my food. I get home, and sure enough, my McNuggets are missing. Sauce is there, no nuggets. I head back to the store and get nothing but attitude from the person at the counter and not even a sorry. I had put in an order through the McDonalds app before leaving work, it's about a 10 minute drive to get there. When I get there expecting my meal I am told they will start making the meal. When I got my meal they didn't supply cups for the drinks that I ordered. So finally they start going to fix it and they hand us a bag of 'part of the order' and ask us to pull up. Pull up, park... Y'all... it's someone else's food. Not even close to our order. Never did I think I would review a McDonald's in my life...unless it was more terrible than expected of course. This should be the model store for all Mcdonalds to strive to be. The staff is friendly as if it were a chic-filet without the fakeness. The establishment was cleaner than ANY fast food place I have ever been to and I ordered a Big Mac and for the first time in 20 years it was made great! Sounds weird and yes I'm considered a "foodie" since I've been in this industry for 25 years. I have fine dining experience and I do consulting. Time for me to stop rating McDonald's and start rating myself. 01/22/24 nobody in line in front of me; I guess that gave them a break. Finally after I said "hello" a voice comes over the intercom. I ordered one thing a double quarter pounder with cheese only. I pay and move up to the second window. The young girl at that window is standing at the counter doing nothing. Obviously my order wasn't ready. A car comes in back of me and finally the manger walks around the girl opens the window and ask me to pull up to the third window because the burgers weren't quite ready. So I pull up and not long after my sandwich comes. I thank the guy that gives it to me. I get home and I have fresh cooked double quarter pounder on a roll with no cheese. Thank God I had cheese at home. I've come to the conclusion that when people order and don't receive their food; these workers can already have a meal paid for while they're at work. This is the Macker's I'd suggest if you needed to go to one that's on Route 13. If you're wondering why, it's because they're pretty quick with giving you your meal. Their meal quality fluctuates, but is more often good than bad; I've had really good triples, but dry as all get out ones as well. They also double check with you on your items, possibly because they don't want to have complaints. The biggest issue that the place has is that getting out of the place is a hideous nightmare. Not joking; your best hope is to either get out by the Subway or use the strip lot and turn around. It makes the place a bit of a pain on that. read more

That said, there is always a long line and the staff is usually very friendly and try to get people in and out quickly. This McDonald's is always busy but they do move really fast. The food is pretty good as well. My problem is it's always something missing from the order. On 2/3 occasions I ordered happy meals and got home and either the fries or chicken nuggets are missing out of the box. This is very frustrating because I normally prefer my children food here when it's late after sports and I don't feel like cooking so, to get all the way home and see half of the meal is missing is frustrating. Its McDonalds. I have been going here for years. Normally the food is made correctly and it is of good quality. I have gone through the drive through and also inside. If it is busy there can be a wait and they do get busier than other McDonalds in the area at some parts of the day. I would say they are better than the Dover McDonalds that is near the Community College. You shouldn't have any problems here so it would be a place that I suggest over other options in the area. But its McDonalds so be realistic don't expect a TBone steak just expect your food at a reasonable price and without any hassle. read more
