Pulled pork, chicken, brisket, mac and cheese ($18)
    Ellis R.

4.5 is my rating. 1. Great bang for the buck! 2. Friendly customer service. 3. Delicious BBQ. The portions are hefty. I prefer the pulled pork and chopped chicken. I have to try some other sides. However, I can vouch for their mac and cheese lol. I think this place is a gem and worth trying.

Decided to stop by during our drive home up Coastal Highway 1 -- and it was well worth the pit stop. From hot dogs and nachos to traditional BBQ sandwiches and platters, everything was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back our next time through!!

An absolute gem! Some of the best Q I've ever had in my life! The brisket rivaled what I have had in Texas, and the pork was as good as any in Carolina. I really cannot express how delicious and flavorful and juicy and just perfect everything was. If you are driving to / from anywhere in the northeast to / from the Delaware beaches or Ocean City MD, you MUST go here!

BBQ Ribs, Mac N Cheese, Baked Beans.

Amazing BBQ!! Got the Ribs, chopped chicken sandwich, baked beans and Mac 'N' Cheese. Ribs had a whole bunch of meat and were very moist. Didn't feel like I was eating on a damn toothpick rib which is always awesome. Portions were also great and was very full after. They were unfortunately out of all the brisket and pretty much all the pulled pork which tells you how popular this place is. He did have about a 1/4 portion of pulled pork left which I mentioned I did really want try since I was just passing through. He was kind enough to not only let me have the small portion but also not charge me for it. Additionally the hospitality was amazing, such a nice and friendly staff. Next time I am passing through I'll be sure to stop in. Thanks again!!

Brisket sandwich with creamy Mac n cheese and collard greens that were not too watery.

Excellent BBQ! Walk up window. Staff (believe we were served by Janay) was very friendly and courteous plus knowledgeable about the menu. Had multiple items. Loved the beef brisket and how lean it was (and I'm picky!). Everything was packaged nicely. Nothing leaked. Utensils and napkins provided. Will definitely be back!!! Don't pass this place up. You can tell this place has some hardworking people that take pride in what they do. It is worth the stop even if you're driving through. It was easy to get to with plenty of parking (RV PEOPLE - plenty of room to park and pull out!). They also take credit cards and weren't hassling you for a tip at the end of the transaction, which is a turn off for me. I gladly gave them a cash tip. Try this place - you won't regret it!!

Incredible! Hidden gem in Smyrna -- amazing food! Incredible service. Nice spot just off of Route 13. They have an outside area to sit with umbrellas. We got the brisket, pulled pork, collards, Mac & cheese and baked beans. NO NOTES! Everything is jumpin! We will definitely be going back.

Authentic and delicious bbq. Best pasta salad I've ever had! When we saw pit bbq we knew we had to stop here for late lunch and were not disappointed! First of all, the guys here work hard and are the nicest and most welcoming. And then the food is quality, great portions and lip-smacking good. Sad but not surprised they were sold out of brisket so we got some awesome pulled pork. Juicy, not too smoky. I loved the coleslaw and sauce on the slider sandwich. The mac n cheese had a nice sharp cheese flavor and was not dry. The pasta salad!! Perfectly cooked tri color pasta that just soaks up the vinegary Italian dressing and pairs perfectly with the cherry tomatoes and cucumbers. Really hit the spot on a hot day. We will definitely be back to visit!

2 piece BBQ chicken $6.00 winner today

Today was my first time trying Pit Daddys BBQ and I will definitely be back. I was hoping to try their Brisket, but it wasn't on the menu today. Instead I got the BBQ chicken which was wonderful and came with a drumstick and thigh for $6.00. They were perfectly seasoned and had a nice wood smoke flavor. Lovely. I also tried the Pulled Pork Platter which came with your meat and 2 sides. I chose the mac and cheese and collards and passed on the bun since I got pasta. The mac and cheese was perfect and the noodles weren't overcooked like most places do. Also their collards had a nice black pepper kick and a generous helping of bacon...yum The pork was nice and I appreciated that they served the sauce on the side, but the chicken was the winner today. The patter was $14.00 so in total I spent $20.00 but there was enough food for my husband and I to share. I can't wait to go back and try the brisket. Thank you for sharing your wonderful product.

The food arrived warm smoked ribs, chicken, and those delicious baked beans you name it! All food was on point.

Food was awesome. The lunch size was kind of small, but it was delicious. They really need support.

My husband said we should just cancel the order and leave. I reminded him that I already paid for the food. I told him I had to pee, and he didn't even want me to use the bathroom. So, we just sat and waited for the food. But at the same time we looked at each other and said..."You can't even smell any food cooking!" Bruh, we gave everything away to some homeless folks. I hope they enjoyed it. I'm giving them two stars bc they were nice. But um, neither of them were Black/Jamaican. I wish them well.

Now usually something like a salmon hoagie is not the first thing you order when vetting a new restaurant. I would usually go with the fried fish or chicken - something easy. But I felt adventurous, so I tried their signature hoagie. I set my expectations low accordingly to avoid disappointment. Let me tell you, smh... For first impressions... They killed it. The sandwich pays homage to the traditional salmon patty with parsley made at home except this version is more evolved. This is the type of recipe you get after making something over and over - adding a little of this and that. This recipe takes time. You're not gonna find this sandwich anywhere else. You can try to duplicate it at home, but expect to have that "something's missing" feeling until you go through what it took to fine tune this recipe. Time. The salmon is not canned or minced. You can tell that it's made fresh immediately. They must cut them into chunks when cooking because they break down in the sandwich, but not to a "minced" level. You get bites of chucky salmon that's just the right proportion at the right time. The sandwich is rich and the taste of garlic, cheese, parsley, etc permeate each bite. It's an instant favorite and I'm not even into sauces with cheese! The sandwich is not too wet and the sauce is not overbearing or too "rich". When I was picking up my food they showed me an example of their po boy sandwich. (From the looks of it, they added their signature style to that too as I saw shrimp AND Fish on the sandwich!) I'll definitely be back to try their other entrees and sides. I'm extremely picky when it comes to food. When you taste this sandwich, you totally understand that these woman can cook. But that's just the first hurdle. The next stage is finding out if you like someone's "style" of cooking. There's 100 ways to make collards, but only a couple that "I actually want". I got a feeling all their food would fall into the "Dayummm.... thats good!" category.
