I unordered from Grub Hub 2 large Chili's w/ their hot sauce and 2 Biggie bites w/ 2 burgers and chicken nuggets w/ ranch dressing for both. I only received one of the biggie bites meals with no ranch dressing & 2 large Chili's w/chili hot sauce which I didn't receive... Apparently, someone at Wendy's altered from their recipe that has been awesome for more than twenty years. It was so sweet that even w/ chili pepper and both chili powders, I could correct the sweetness..someone at Wendy's screwed up and didn't follow the recipe! read more

I regularly place mobile orders daily from Wendy's. Because of my job I travel all throughout the state of DE/MD. I ordered from this Wendy's in Smyrna DE. Caesar salad with chicken. I received a salad with no chicken. I only ordered 1 item and they still couldn't get this correct. What kind of people does this establishment hire that can simply follow or read instructions and get it right. Where's the quality control? Do they check to make sure orders are correct at all? Store needs to be deep cleaned inside, as in there was an exposed tampon in the bathroom just out in the open. Soda had no carbonation and fries had no salt. I regret paying for a large meal that I was going to eat for my road trip. My SO ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers, the first one was fine, however the second one so bad they had to stop eating the burger halfway through. The bacon was dry. The burger patty tasted off, like something wasn't right with it. Employees looked disheveled & miserable working there. read more

The people at Wendy's in Smyrna, DE NEVER listen. I asked for my food a very specific way and not once this year have I received my food correctly. It's like they're robots and all they know how to do it make what's on the menu. I'm extremely upset because when I go there with my Family I mend up spending almost $40 just to come home and can't eat. It's a huge waste of food and my money. They don't consider that when people have special orders it could be because of an allergy or special diet. It's very inconsiderate and thoughtless. Well typical Wendy's. Coming home Dover International Speedway! Desided wanted something fast to eat. But was not fast. Waited 20 min for food. Like I always have enjoyed the jr bacon cheeseburgers. But they pile the salt on the fries. Way to much. Spicy nuggets are better then the original nuggets but they could add more then 4. Bathroom door was locked and it was like 5:30pm so that was a dispointment. Being from out of town. Nothing us new when it comes to Wendy's no matter what city or state you are in. read more

I was hopeful this Wendy's would be better than it was before it was renovated. The place was dirty and unkept before it was renovated. When it reopened, the restaurant looked clean and fresh. The first couple of times we ate there after it reopened, everything was great. Yesterday, a Sunday, we stopped by for a Frosty. Big mistake. We were stuck in line for over twenty minutes. I didn't mind the wait so much, because I realized it was the weekend. After waiting all that time, when we got to the window to pay we were told they were out of the Frosty mix. The person taking our order tried to take our order twice while we were in line because the line was so long. He had plenty of opportunity to tell us they were out of the mix. Guess the new building didn't solve the problem because they help was the same as before. read more

Received the wrong food. Worker came outside and yelled at me about it. Raising her voice at me and acting threatening. Claimed I told her I had the correct food even though she came out to tell me that I had the wrong food while waiting for my salad and I agreed that I did. She then brought me only the salad and when I questioned where the rest of my food is she told me I claimed to have the right food... which I did not. She then gave me only 1 item I was missing. This Wendy's is quickly degrading to become the worst fast food restaurant in Smyrna. The last time I was here, I ordered a taco salad. Received a Ceasar Salad. Was marked wrong on the receipt but I know the mistake was theirs because I never ordered a Ceasar salad before. Drove around the drive through a second time and at least they made it right. Today, I ordered a large Chili, a baked potato and a single with cheese plain. The single wasn't even in my bag. I'm done with Wendy's in Smyrna. Lots of other choices and even though I have liked the chain, it just isn't worth the inefficiency any longer. read more

I'd give this place no stars if I could. It's filthy. Liquid cheese running down the side of a hastily wiped down table, and that was the best table in the joint. Every inch of grout was black, ceiling tiles sagging from water intrusion, carpeting loaded with dirt and food. Flies made rounds table to table as guests shoe them away. The health department would have a FIELD DAY at this location. Keep in mind it was not busy and employees just stood around. I grew up on a mushroom farm and currently work in sanitation. I'm usually OK with dirt but I had to walk away from eating here. Disgraceful and should be an embarrassment to the company. read more

Went to the drive-thru for a quick snack on my way home from Dover. Service was fast and the girl at the window was super friendly and my food was hot and fresh. The parking lot could use some work, it was kind of bumpy, but I'm not sure if that is because of the winter we had this year. Other than that I would stop here again. read more
