If I could give this location no stars then I would, but unfortunately it does not allow me to do that. I had no other choice but to give it a one star. I frequent this particular McDonald's very often, as well as the Kennesaw location. For some apparent reason the customer service is horrible at the South cobb location. They really need to do better. Even the managers have nasty attitudes. I went here trying to place an order using the receipt as it states at the top of it, "by one Sandwich get the other 1 free". The manager became rude telling me that I could not use that receipt! Granted, the receipt is from another location but I use all my receipts at other locations and they accept it. This is the worst McDonald's location. Visited on 4/26/25 @ 10:17 am. The drive thru was packed. One of the lines never moved. When you finally got to the microphone I was greeted by a very rude young Hispanic lady. When I approached the next window, the young lady was still very cold. Could not even say hello or thank you. When I approached the final window to pick up my order, it took about 3 minutes for someone to even approach the window with my order. This young lady is also rude and always seems unhappy. She handed me my caramel macchiato and big breakfast. Katarina literally just shut the door in my face as I checked my order. I had to try and get her attention because she forgot the hash brown that came with my breakfast. She finally came back and ran back to grab the hash brown with an attitude. She handed me my missing item and slams the window door again. Just rude all around. Definitely won't be frequenting this location again. Sad that these young ladies don't take their jobs seriously or have good customer service skills. The food was a meh as well. It's a McDonald's so the bar isn't set super high, but for a McD's I have definitely experienced worst and better. This spot is located in the Kroger shopping center at the corner of Concord and South Cobb, which if you are familiar with, is a VERY busy spot...so, be prepared to wait a little more than normal, especially during busy times. If you are in a rush, this location is probably not for you. I see a lot of issues with the service at this location and I am surprised honestly, because this McDonald's has some of the best service of McD's I have visited in the area. I will say that I get better service when I go through the drive thru instead of inside, as I have encountered some less than enthusiastic and helpful attitudes when ordering inside. That being said, when I go through drive thru's at other locations in the area, the folks are silent at both windows. They reach out to get payment, process and hand you your change/card and receipt and close the window. However, at this location I always feel welcomed by folks at both windows. They dont strike up convo or anything, but they do say "hello" and "thanks" at the least, while seeming decently cheerful. You all know the food here, and I will say that I have never been disappointed with anything I got here. I usually hit them up for an Iced Coffee, as their regular iced coffee is fantastic! It's Mickey D's, what can I say that the world doesn't know. Let's see, hmmm... well a restaurant that claims to be 24hrs was closed to customers, except Uber eats and Door dash. The audacity! It's a tad after 12am and I'm starving!!! Other than that, this location is fairly new, the employees are kind, well this is only my second visit, but they've been great on both occasions. Parking is ample, double drive thru, easy excess to 285, hop on hop off incase you're in a hurry and don't want to drive a mile for food. Only reason this location isn't a 5 star, I left with no food. Kinda false advertisement, the whole 24hr thing, but I'm not bitter . Ay, what do I know. I'm sure I'll visit this place again. Had to wait quite Sometime almost 30 minutes! I showed a picture of where there's not really a line I think they're just disorganized at this McDonald's. It's sad too because I only go to fast food every now and then and I really expect it to be efficient in "fast". Obviously this is not an efficient one! Not sure what caused my delay, the Double Cheeseburger was hot, I wish I had asked for not salt as I normally do because this was definitely too salty. It is a little trick and wort the wait for a "no salt" order because you know that they just cooked it! The fries were a bit cold, also should have asked for no salt, to make sure they were hot. Just ask for salt on the side if you really need the added salt. The ketchup is pretty salty, and is enough for me. I was starving and with this stay at home , there aren't many fast foods I would go to normally, this I though would at least be average, but it is definitely BELOW average. I hate writing poor reviews, but this experience was horrible and I doubt I will return. First and foremost I was given somebody else's order. When I gave them the food back they asked me to pull around to the front. I sat out front for 30 minutes waiting on my food before going in to ask what was taking so long. Once I went inside to ask I was told they thought I had left. They proceeded to give me the food that had been sitting out as everything was very cold. I asked them to remake the food so they did warm up my children's meals. Once home I gave my children and my mother-in-law their food. She bit into the burger and was disgusted because it was not cooked. I know some places you can order a food medium or raw; however, this is McDonald's and all food should be cooked thoroughly. We had just dropped off the dogs at boarding and we were on our way to the airport. We weren't going to the terminal that had a McDonald's and we decided that it would be better to just buy it before we get there (plus we didn't have to pay airport prices). There are so many McDonald's out there and they all serve the same thing and so the only ways you can judge one and compare it to others is through the service and the quality of the order. I appreciated that this location was quick and efficient. They got my breakfast order correct which was a bonus. The restaurant and its bathroom were clean and the employees were polite. All these things make this location a stellar one. Of course they have a drive through but they also have plenty of parking as it sits in the lot of a grocery store. It's never too busy here but even if it got to that point, they get the food out quick. read more

I currently have an accent because I am not from America, it is definitely not a thick accent due to people on average understanding me.I went to the drive-through with my girlfriend, and the manager proceeded to act like he didn't understand what I was saying. The workers clearly understood that I was ordering a six piece McNugget but the manager proceeded to continue to ask me what I was saying, although it was quite understood that I ordered nuggets. As I proceeded to the front of the drive-through I was confronted with an amazing worker who's birthday it was. I let her know that I wasn't happy with the service that I received because I did not expect two people to speak at me at the drive-through at the same time. Possibly that could've been the reason that no one understood me but I felt specifically put down because I was not American. At first sight, this McDonald's is beautiful and one of the only McDonald's I have seen with the new, upgraded decor. BUT, service here is very hit or miss. The handful of times I have been here have been very inefficient, and sometimes just strange. Once I was in a drive-thru and since the screen wasn't working, I asked for my order to be read back to me. The team member simply said "no" and told me to pull up to the first window. Most recently, the team member was simply distracted by a previous customer and wasn't paying attention, so my order was incorrect. The supervisor was very polite and efficient, but not extremely concerned. Food and environment are great for McDonalds. This is probably one of the worst McDonald's that I have been to recently. From the time we entered the restaurant to the time we sat down with our food, it was over thirty minutes. Yes, we should've gone with our instinct to leave and find another place to eat, but did we? No. We were hungry. Mom ordered two cheeseburgers and an unsweetened tea, I ordered a cheeseburger and side salad. The unsweetened tea in the dining room was out, and trying to get anyone's attention is near impossible at that place. We finally got someone, who might've been on break, and he wasn't too happy about the unsweetened tea being empty, again. When he grabbed the container he left a mess of lids behind and didn't come back to clean it up. He also made it sound like he would be back with more tea. Five minutes later, nothing. We got someone's attention at drivethru and he said they didn't have any unsweetened tea as well. From our order to others I watched, there was a lack in communication amongst staff and a lack of attention to detail as many orders were brought back with missing or the wrong items. The best part? This McDonald's has one of the worst crews I've ever seen. Absolutely everyone that works there has a "I'd rather be doing anything but this" attitude. I know your minimum wage job might not mean much to you, but if you know you have to work there, you can at least pretend to have a decent attitude. They tell you to pull around for even the most simple of orders, as if they have absolutely nothing prepared. This "pull around" BS is nothing but an excuse for them to half-ass their job and take their sweet time. So much for "fast food." I have been to the McDonald's twice now, both time for breakfast on my way to work. They are in a prime location for commuters in this area, but I don't think they realize this fact because it took them 10 minutes to fill my order. I ordered a simple BEC biscuit, but on a muffin and t hen I sat and sat and sat and sat some more while the 4 cars in front of me sat and sat and sat. When I finally arrived at the pickup window the girl at the drive through has to ask me what I ordered. I was so annoyed at this point that I could have just left, but no I tell her what I ordered and drove off upon receiving my breakfast. When I looked in the bag I realized that the had given me the wrong thing!!!! I had to turn around and go in...When I complained that MANAGER making the food started arguing with me.
