It's so good you're gonna have to ask forgiveness for eating it! Bring your priest for your Rabbi! #Brisket

Bring your priest or your rabbi to forgive you for eating this brisket! It's so good!

How can you stop it to a place that has biscuits in its name. Super glad we did. This was a cool place and the food matched the vibe. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. Based on the recommendation I went with the loaded burger...and it was. Great burger and then add the bacon, split red hot, grilled onions and chili and WOW! When it hit the table I was told I'd need four napkins and they were right. Just the right amount of mess, but it mostly stayed in the bun. My wife got the chicken sandwich and she loved it. I am a sucker for hand cut fries and these were excellent! A great salt and pepper splash on them made them that much tastier.

I live nearby and loveee locally owned diners with good burgers, so I came here with a friend earlier this week with very high hopes. Unfortunately my hopes were squashed pretty quickly. Right when you walk in your are greeted with a blue lives matter display near the front door. There are also lots of police and fire patches put up as decoration. I know if the owners read this they will most likely not understand what I mean, but that sort of display of beliefs definitely results in a group of your potential customers not feeling safe or welcomed here. It's sad that we have businesses doing that in this area. I expect it in the boonies, not in metro Atlanta. I honestly have no clue how this place has such high ratings. Maybe the breakfast food is much better? Idk. First things first, the food came out in aluminum foil and a to-go container. We ordered dine-in. We can't get a plate around here?? Lol. Second, the food we had for lunch was very subpar. The chili in my chili cheese burger was way too tangy and tomato-y. Kinda tasted more like salsa than anything savory. So that was unpleasant. The rest of the burger was okay. The fries weren't good at all, kinda cold and floppy. No crunch or crisp to them at all. Tasted chewy and boring. My friend bought one of their miniature pecan pies and didn't like it at all. He couldn't see any pecans in it and it was pretty dry and crumbly. Overall the diner looks cute, I like the aesthetic from the outside etc. Inside it looks dirty. Not really what you're wanting to see for a restaurant. This restaurant needs: a redo of their decor, some major TLC inside, and menu revamp. It also needs better employee training, because we heard two of the workers laughing and cursing up a storm while we were eating. Unless this place changes majorly I don't think I'll ever be back sadly.

Clean restaurant; inviting, welcoming and friendly staff; quick service; and good food - what more can you ask for in a restaurant? First time visit and will definitely be going back. Great dollar value for the amount of food and you can tell the folks behind the counter care. Looking forward to my next visit!

1911 Biscuits and Burgers gets food out quickly, which I appreciated. However, the service was just okay -- nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. I ordered a chicken biscuit, and unfortunately when I picked it up to add jelly, the biscuit completely fell apart. It made the sandwich messy and took away from the experience. Speed was a plus, but the food quality and service could use some improvement.

Food is good. We love the chicken biscuits. We try to get breakfast when we visit the area.

Ultimate Chicken Sandwich

I came here with a client for lunch. The restaurant had a few people eating but was not very crowded. It had kind of like a diner feel and was very casual. I ordered the ultimate chicken sandwich and a sweet tea. She ordered a burger. My sandwich came out and they had accidentally not put in her order so we had to wait for hers to be cooked after I already received mine. Although this occurred, the staff were very quick to fix her order and brought it out in no time. The mixture of sauces was very nice on the ultimate chicken sandwich. I wish the sandwich came with a side like fries but besides that it was pretty decent. I liked the sandwich but it's not something to write home about.

I love this spot! I'm rarely on this side of town but whenever I am 1911 is always a stop on my route. Their biscuits are just soooo good. Made fresh and so many options of ways to have it. I typically go for the standard biscuit with sausage, egg and cheese which is always delicious and made fresh. This is a place I always recommend to anyone who is in the area and wants a quick, affordable, delicious breakfast option.

Honey BBQ wings

We found 1911 through Yelp while visiting from out of state and were looking for a good place to eat before heading out for the day. What a great find! We started with the Hickory fries, topped with melted cheese and smoked brisket. They were flavorful with just the right touch of sweetness. Next up was the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich, which was packed with flavor and came with a generous piece of chicken--definitely a satisfying bite. We also tried the wings in two flavors: Reaper and Honey BBQ. The Reaper had a perfect balance--spicy enough to get your attention but not so hot that you couldn't enjoy them. The Honey BBQ was equally impressive with its delicious, smoky-sweet flavor. Both styles of wings were moist, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Overall, 1911 is a spot we'd highly recommend for anyone looking for a hearty meal full of bold flavors. It's the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit!

After being seated just before 3pm, it took almost an hour to even get beignets. I had to ask for water for our table because our waitress was all over the place and forgot. Our silverware had only knives (2 in one) no forks. Our orders were the simplest thing (avocado toast, eggs, bacon, coffee) and we didn't get the beignets until almost 3:45pm. It wasn't even busy the way I've seen it be on other weekends so the delay for a such a small party seemed odd. Multiple tables around us had theirs before our waitress even remembered to bring fried bread? Wild. I asked if the egg that was part of my meal was boiled, they said it was poached and surprise -- it was boiled. So they didn't know the menu. My food was obviously put together quickly (after complaining about the wait to the manager) and was so bland, I don't see the point in coming back. I know they have better dishes, but the simple ones shouldn't be that complicated. The whole situation made no sense from the beginning to end. It's ironic that the manager said we would be in great hands as we got seated, because my experience was anything but great. Two stars because they were at least polite about it, but that was ridiculous.

Other guests were sitting at the bar having a lively conversation, but not too loud where it disturbed others. All staff was helpful and friendly Saniya took great care of me. Started with Caramel Coffee-J added 2 hazelnut and 1 vanilla cream.. no need for sugar.. this coffee was divine. Scanned over the menu.. I decided on the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler--scrambled eggs, spinach, bacon, onions, topped with Monterey Jack cheese..I added mushrooms. Nice blend of everything scrambled just right. Omelette and Scramblers served with choice of grits or potatos and a English muffin. I got the grits.. they were nice and creamy. Of course I added a little butter and Sugar (don't judge me..go judge a pageant, lol) Nice spot for Brunch they offer spiked coffee drinks and other . mixed cocktails. Plenty of seating inside. Got to the table and the cushion we sit on was so torn up on the top. This should have been our first warning. Next they brought a high chair. I cleaned it with a wet wipe, which started as a white wet wipe and ended up being gray and nasty and I only wiped the upper half of the highchair. I had the Shrimp Benny which was served on grilled focaccia bread, but it came really soggy and had a large piece of an eggshell in my poached egg. The shrimp was nicely cooked. Spouse had a gravy biscuit dish and it barely had any gravy and ordered an upgraded grits bowl that came with burnt bacon and served lukewarm and fried chicken tenders that was so hard that they couldn't be eaten. The men's bathroom was disgusting. The sink was full of water and wouldn't drain. We will not be back and we will not recommend it to friends nor any enemy

Food: 5/5 We decided to try a leisurely lunch. The menu is not large, but it has enough variety to be interesting. Everything we tried was delicious. The smoked salmon appetizer portion was large, but the best part was the great flavor. I can see why this choice has been on the menu for years. The Vidalia onion soup will be a surprise for the non-Georgians who expect it to be similar to a savory beef broth like French onion soup. Georgia's onions from the Vidalia area are sweet and tasty enough to carry the soup without the help of a meat broth and the green pesto sauce offers a nice additional touch. The salmon on fresh salad was done perfectly. The panka-crusted cod with mashed potatoes and spinach was outstanding. Both were seasoned so lightly that the true flavors shone through. The portions were generous enough that dessert at the time would have been too much, but others can do as we did and take home one of the dessert choices. Next time we plan to try their sandwiches which looked yummy at other tables. Service : 5/5 Service was excellent from the pleasant greeting, through the entire meal. Our server, Clayton, couldn't have been more helpful with the menu, as well as being very efficient and amiable. He made sure our food was served promptly and our beverages glasses were full, and our requests were met quickly. Facility: The facility lends itself to the riverside experience from the canoe in the entryway ceiling to the flowers and bird feeders just beyond the patio tables. The white tablecloth ambiance informs you that this isn't a fast-food experience. There are tents set aside in a more private are of the garden as a lovely venue for special events Location : This isn't a quick roadside stop next to a 6-lane highway. Even though the restaurant is convenient to dine in an Atlanta suburb, the roads to the restaurant wind and meander for a short distance through one of the prettiest neighborhoods, with a canopy of large old trees, with lovely fences, hedges, and gates lining the road. There is courteous valet parking at the front door. The restaurant is not inexpensive but it is well worth the prices paid, in our opinion.

The hostess was welcoming, and we enjoyed waiting by the lake before being seated. When our table turned out to be directly under a cold air vent, the staff happily moved us to a more comfortable spot. The onion soup wasn't what we expected based on the menu description, and my salmon arrived much rarer than anticipated. After sending it back, it was cooked perfectly, though the flavor was just okay. My husband loved his entrée, and the complimentary birthday dessert was a thoughtful touch. Despite a couple of hiccups, the beautiful atmosphere and attentive service made for an enjoyable evening. I'd definitely return and try something different next time.

The combination of wood-grilled beef, roasted poblano, melted cheddar, red onion, and cilantro aioli is top-tier. It's honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had, with the smoky poblano giving it the perfect kick. The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.
