So there's a lot of love about this establishment. There's a nice secretive entrance to the speakeasy and you get all types of cocktails and they were really good form old fashions to cocktails. I do appreciate the customer service our waitress was so attentive and knowledgeable. The food is pretty good too. I will say that I got the burger and fries and the fries were slightly overcooked, but I gave that a pass because the duck fried rice was excellent so overall I definitely will recommend this place.

Gotta check out Eleanor's bar (the speakeasy in the back)! It's such a FUN, cozy experience, rooted in a rich family story/ legacy. I'd love to go back. We went on a Sunday evening, in which they did a special Indian menu (we were told the chef had trained with authentic). Nonetheless, we ordered from the regular menu (and our boring selves each ordered the same item), so we didn't get to test out too much variation on the menu. We ordered the Funky Chicken: one of us grilled and one fried. It was delish. We were jokingly told that their Whiskey-Sour esque drink, The Brown Thrasher single-handedly keeps them in business-- that's how delicious and popular it is. We ordered one and it did not disappoint. I'd come back here in a heartbeat, but moreso for the ambiance and service than anything else

Didn't stay. Got caught by the coffee cup police who challenged me for bringing a cup inside the restaurant- it was such a challenge after a long long day. I met with the hostess at the stand and she proceeded to seat me but then there was a woman who snuck up from behind her and interrupted our conversation. The woman who I will name as Karin approached me in a very rude manor as I was plotting my seat selection. While she may have been in her right duties to inquire about my cup, the way she did it was rude and quite nasty. She blamed her approach on previous guest who have came in sneaking alcohol out of the building or better yet, sneaking beverages inside. It was publicly humiliating. The impact affected me staying and consuming any food with that type of energy aimed towards me. No manager came to inquire about what happened. So, I took care of my peace by walking out. I won't tolerate my self care with nonsense or disrespect. There are ways to convey messages to patrons or customers in a way that is not personal.

Really happy with the additions for the menu with Eleanor's. They finally listened and added some nice cocktails with tequila!! Service was excellent. There was a great female bartender when I went and she hooked up the drinks really nice. Also the fries were really good, she has an awesome recommendation for the "garlic mud" dipping sauce for the fries. This review is mostly for the speakeasy and less so Muss & Turner's. Honestly the food menu for Muss & Turners is not that creative and overpriced. Head to the back for the nice bar though, cooler ambiance!

Mussels- hearty in a wine sauce with bread- very good

The three of us had a fantastic dining experience on Saturday evening. We took a non traditional path to dinner by ordering all tapas and shareable accompanied by a couple of glasses of wine. Our server Micky was spot in for our needs... not too hovering but not absent. We would definitely return. We ordered adult Mac and cheese, a pickle flight, the brussel sprouts, pimento cheese spread, mussels, and split an evil chocolate chip cookie. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

This would be a good spot if you wanted a solid sandwich. They have some good options. But they have a plethora of other things to pick from as well so don't think that you're limited. Starting off, they have free parking in the shopping area that it's in so you don't have to worry about looking for parking. It could get busy though so don't make it seem like it'll be abundant parking. Because there are a lot of places here. The front part of the house is a very well-lit restaurant area. It's right in the front of the building so you can have the glass windows that are facing the parking lot. They have a little deli spot as well so it's a normal type of establishment. You go in the back, and then you have eleanors. Eleanor's is a hidden bar or a speakeasy style situation that has a dark and jewelry vibe of an old school s establishment. There's bottles of liquor everywhere, pictures all over the place, it's very woody and rustic. But it does have a really pleasant charm to it. They had the same menu in the front as they do in the back so you're not penalized if you sit one place versus another. There's music playing in the background so there will be a little bit of obvious, but don't expect any TVs or anything like that. Also the spot will get filled really quick because it's not a whole lot of space back there. So the last time I went I went at around 5:00 or 5:30 p.m.. there were maybe three people at the tables but the bar was just about full. Another half hour, and people were falling in so you got to time it right? Or you may not have a seat. There were plenty who came in and left right back out because there was no area or place to sit. Chili cheese fries - the fries were really good and very crispy to perfection. You can tell they are house made. The chili and the cheese take it to another level thought. The cheese is tangy yet subtle. The chili is very meaty and filling (it has beans in it btw). You may find chunks of meat in the chili so that's a good surprise. El's wings - the wings were very good and meaty. They had a very Mediterranean feel to them because of the seasoning. They came with tzatiki sauce so you got a bite of refreshing flavor if you decided to dip them. S/n ...they garlic mud was good ..I tried it on the fries and the wings. The burger - The burger was solid. Now it's not a flashy Burger by any means, it's going to be a plain burger with cheese on it, but if you don't mind not having a bells and whistles this burger, maybe a good contender. Contender. It's not super big but the bread is very nice and soft, and the burger patty is cooked very well. Again, it's nothing with a lot of flash and bang. Just a solid Burger. And I would get it again. Brown thrasher - this is their take on something similar to an old fashioned. It was pretty good, a little bit more on the sweeter side but it was still pretty good. If I lived on this side of town I would probably be going here often. It seems like it's a really good spot for right after work, and it does get full so just keep that in mind. But it's still a good option.

The Gobbler

What happened to The Gobbler with fresh slice turkey breast ! I have ate this sandwich several times. I ordered it to go and mine had sliced turkey deli meat on it. I had a craving for the Thanksgiving sandwich on a bun .

Do yourself a favor and dine here as soon as possible. You genuinely cannot go wrong, everything is just sublime. We started with the pickle plate, which was ridiculous. Highly recommend starting with that. I had the Butternut Squash Farrotto with the Brown Thrasher cocktail, couldn't imagine a better pair. A taste of Autumn in every bite and sip. Others in my party had El's Wings and the Chicharrones and they were equally as amazing. Service was fantastic and the playlist they had going was just banger after banger. Will unquestionably be returning!!!

Tiny lobster roll...

Wow, Hopefully I'm doing this right because I never take the time to leave a review... I feel kind of robbed. I was just charged $42 for a very basic lobster roll that is half or 2/3rds the size I would expect. I basically lobster and parsley on a what seemed stale mini hot dog bun. Really disappointing. After the mid Reuben a got in the past, seems like a BIG MISS. Cheers, Sean

Great vibe. We wanted a speakeasy for a bday celebration and we got one! We loved the secret entrance through the freezer door! The decor and atmosphere were very chill yet electric. The music was not overbearing and the bar service was impeccable. We enjoyed the El wings, which had a unique tangy flavoring with a tzatziki dipping sauce! My husband had the Hanger steak and I enjoyed the "Corn Palace," which is a light corn salad with pickled Vidalia onions and dressing served on a bed of arugula! There is also a goat cheese cheesecake. That's right you heard me... delicious and not too gamey. The dress code? There was no dress code. Patrons were dressed neat and clean, some business casual, others jeans and shirt but neat and clean nevertheless. There is a regular seating area, which is kid friendly and had a deli-like feel with the speakeasy bar and small seating area in the back. The menu in the front and back are identical. As an added touch, the staff blessed my husband with a birthday card! We will definitely be back!

Walking by here you easily can smell the food and it makes it worth it, even though from the outside it doesn't look like a whole lot. I think this place is the perfect place for dinner and then drinks, seeing how they have a speak easy hidden in the back. Cocktails here we're amazing, with a full bar, a great beer list, and nonalcoholic options for those who may not be able to drink. I think this place is fantastic and it is going to be on my list for suggestions for a fun night out!

5/30/26 7:30pm…read more Cumberland Mall Cheesecake Factory Parking, semi hard We waited about an hour for a party of 3. It was very crowded, lots of events happening (birthdays and other celebrations). So I cut them some slack with the wait time. Waiter was not as attentive as he could've been. I had Shrimp Scampi which came cold. I ate the shrimp and left the pasta. I wasn't impressed at all and I've been here before and had great food ...but the vibe is different now. We had to ask for the bread to be brought out. We waited about an hour for the food to come out and when we were ready to go had to wait for the waiter to come cash us out. Always like The Cheesecake Factory, but this likely is my last time patronizing this location. We should have gone to Maggianos.

What a giant disappointment. We come to this location multiple times and never had an issue until…read moretoday. We were there to celebrate my friend's birthday. Our reservation is at 6 and we were seated by 6:08. Took a few minutes for our server to come greet us, we all started off with waters, but said that we will be ordering drinks and we have one more friend arriving in 10mins. Came back with the water and bread baskets and he disappeared again. Our friend arrives and finally got our server's attention to order appetizers. At this point, we were kind of annoyed and the birthday girl said to forget about the drinks. She flagged some other server down to refill our waters (still haven't seen our server come back after taking our appetizer order). Someone delivered our appetizer and we asked him to refill our waters again. At this point, we see our neighboring table's server more than we see ours. Birthday girl flagged someone else down for more waters and we just sat and waited. Finally was able to flag down someone, probably a manager that was walking around, told him that we haven't seen our server in a long time and we would like to order dinner. He said ok, walked away and came back and said that he will take our order. His demeanor / attitude was short and borderline rude (at least when he was talking to me) but so soft spoken and patient with my friend sitting across from me with her questions. Not sure if he felt some kind of way because I said and quote "We haven't seen our server in a while and we would really like to order dinner." Once we ordered... more waiting, then suddenly... our server popped up and was like "are you guys ready to order?" What??? do you guy who work together don't communicate with one another? We told him we already did and just just gave a nod and walked away. Took about 30-40mins before we got our food. Our server did stop by once during that wait to let us know that it'll be ready soon. My friend's first concern was... is out food going to be hot? Finally when we got our food she took a bite of her chicken and she said "it's just warm", the birthday girl's chicken was also just warm, my pasta was slightly undercook and also just warm. The last 2 entrees that's delivered to our other friends, the fried cauliflower... was hot. The veggie burger was hot but the whole thing fell apart when she picked it up. She also had to wait for her sweet potato fries, which was actually fresh. Then our server popped up to check on us, we went ahead and told him to put in our to-go order and asked for our check (not really sure how long it would take for him to come back if we let him leave... LOL). We all just kind of picked at our food, the quality of the food is just not there and we were really annoyed at the lack of service that we got. I ordered the Jambalaya pasta and the chocolate truffle tower to go for my husband and when I got home (30min drive) and open the food... It was dried, the pasta was undercooked, there was no flavor (not the jambalaya that my husband got when eating in). He took a bite and said it was the most disgusting thing ever. As bad as the food and the service is, at least they can still make a decent cake / cheesecake. Being home and taking a bit of that cake is the best thing of the night. Definitely not the cheesecake factory we know and remember. The birthday girl's dinner experience was ruined and she was really annoyed with the lack of service and the quality of the food as are the rest of the party.
