The food made me sick. This restaurant needs a health inspection and training on food handling as well as customer care. The egg was undercooked in my Egg McMuffin an the yolk oozed out. In addition to making me nauseous, I had stomach pain for days. When I reached out through Customer Care, I was told the restaurant would reach out to me. It has been 6 days and no one has contacted me despite my calling and leaving my contact information with someone who identified themself as a manager. I called back several times and no one will address the issue. Each time, I was told to call back. I am currently on hold with another Manager (Elizabeth) as I type this review. She never returned to the call despite the fact that I communicated this made me very ill and that I would like this escalated and resolved. I shouldn't have to obtain an attorney to get a response from a restaurant that made me ill. Unbelievable and Utterly Unacceptable. The positive thing I can highlight about this McDonald's is that drive-thru service is quick - if you go kind of late at night. Other than that, prices have become ridiculous as fast food restaurants constantly pass on higher costs to customers (example: 2 apple pies were priced at $3, and now you get one pie for $1.99. No.) Worst of all, though, the food isn't dropped fresh upon request. I wanted a freshly cooked filet of fish sandwich with extra cheese. While I was told it was freshly cooked, the sandwich was barely warm - I mean, not even warm enough to melt cheese. Went to this outlet for the first time . People mostly buy drive through here . It was empty inside . Nice large screen to order things and pickup. There is also a curb side pick up available . Fries no salt flavor, warm not hot. Not busy and tables need cleaning. For how slow it was I would think the food would be fresher, the burger buns are old and dry when you take a bite the top of the bun peals off. The restaurant seems a little messy with garbage on some of the tables and on the floors. The cashier didn't seemed too enthusiastic with their job and did not smile at all. The staff did not seem to be that friendly. Fish Filet: They were able to get rid of the nasty sauce that usually comes with it and replaced it with the ketchup that I wanted. It tasted even better with the ketchup replaced into it. Coke: The coke seemed a bit watered down and did not have the coke syrup taste that makes it taste good. Night crew management needs to get their act together. All grill stuff was unavailable at the drive thru while still open. I couldn't believe I was unable to get a burger at McDonald's. What I did get was a bunch of chicken sandwiches and even that took 20 minutes to get to me. My milkshake was melted by the time I got my food, and there were missing items from the bag. Seemed a little expensive so I drove to the other McDonald's in town. I had purchased a sandwich at the second location the week before and it was cheaper than the location closer to my home. They charged me $5.19 for each sandwich. How can the corporate-owned McDonald's justify charging $2.30 more for the same sandwich? This McDonald's is allegedly open 24/7 a few nights a week. I just visited this location and the so-called 24 hour service. We pulled up to the speaker box and waited for someone to greet us, eventually nobody came and we kept saying hello hello hello?! After that we rolled up to the first window we saw nobody so a couple minutes later we rolled up to the next window and yet again we saw nobody, see pictures. So after sitting around for a few minutes and honking the horn thinking that we might get somebody's attention who might be in the back nobody ever came. So I looked up the phone number for this location and the phone rang about 10 times eventually some lady picked up the phone extremely rudely and I asked her if they were open. She hung up on me the first time so I called back and asked if she was open and just to confirm that this was McDonald's. She said yes this is McDonald's but we are closed. I told her the sign says you are open 24 hours and she said no we are not. She gave me a really bad attitude so I asked for her name in response I got, "why do you wanna know my name I don't have to give you my name and my manager knows we closed". So I don't know what kind of business this place is running but that sign that says 24 hours should be taken down or I guess the employees work here open and close as they please. I had a negative experience at this particular spot. I had placed a mobile app order and I received a notification from the credit card company that the payment went through. When I arrived to the drive-thu, the McDonald's app had received the payment and gave me a code to tell the cashier. When I approached the window, they told me that I didn't make the payment. Despite me showing the notification that the transaction had gone through, the manager refused to listen and blamed it on me. Luckily, after going back and forth, she ended up offering a refund of my payment but then told me to pay again. At this point I was disappointed that 1. I drove all the way there to get a quick and easy service and had not received either, 2. They charged my card and refused to give me my order, 3. Did not listen to me AT ALL, and blamed it on me. As I placed my order I witnessed the manager bummi, boomey boomie ( I know I'm spelling her name wrong) digging in her nose while asking another employee when did they come in to work and preparing customers food. I strive to be honest in all of my reviews and I try to keep them updated if something changes about a restaurant. As a result of a decrease in service that I have experienced, as well as has been pointed out to me by someone who read my review, I felt it necessary to update my review to better reflect the current performance of this McDonald's. First let me mention the most glaring problem, the drive thru staff at night. Since I don't usually go to this McDonald's during the day, I have quite a bit of experience with the staff after 9pm. The most annoying staff member is the woman who feels the need to scream into the mic. First she doesn't hear you when you talk, then you go deaf when she screams at you. After all of that, you better make sure to check what you get because she doesn't always get your order right. The best night staff member by far is the guy who looks like he might be a manager. I've never had a problem with him, but he might be the exception. The rest of the staff at night is awful. It takes forever for the food to come out and when it does its sloppy and often the order isn't right. I ordered a McDouble with no pickles recently and it came with 4 pickles on it. On a different occasion my order consisted of 2 McChickens, 2 McDoubles, and an egg McMuffin. Not hard right? Wrong! I got a McDouble and 3 McChickens. The heck? Anyway, the quality of the food at McDonalds is never great and you only really find yourself at a place like McDonalds when you're too lazy to make food at home or it's so late at night you don't really care how many calories you're consuming. Love it or hate it, it is what it is. In conclusion, the service has gone down sharply at this location. There is a large divide between the day and night staff. There is no consistency and there is no feeling that the customer is the number one priority. With all of that in mind, I have changed my grade from 5 stars to 2 stars. There is much to be desired from this location and management should look over the staff and decide who is good and who is not to improve the quality and service at this location. read more
