The whole family prefers Qdoba to chipotle. Quicker to get food, and the staff here much friendlier than at the Westfield and Clark Chipotles. And of course they don't charge for guac. Plenty of seating. We usually don't have issues finding metered parking close by. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I placed an order for 2 family meals with a bunch of extras the night before for my son's birthday party. I called the store the following morning to ensure they received my order and confirm the pickup time. I was assured by the associate my order would be ready by 2pm. When I get to the store at 2:15pm they informed me they could not fill my order as they had too many other catering orders. I was outraged as I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of food over the years from this store and never had a problem. To make matters worse the employees informed me they weren't trained on how to process my refund and I had to wait for the manager to arrive. You have a store without a manager on duty? 40 minutes later the manager finally arrives and my son and I can hear her cursing at her employees. We must assume at least some were directed at us. After nearly an hour in the store one of her employees handed us our refund. The manager didn't even have the professionalism to handle the issue directly with us. This was a complete fiasco that ruined my sons birthday party solely by the incompetence of the current crew and management at the store. We will NEVER spend another penny at that store because of this horrible experience. read more

I was in the area for some shopping and decided to keep it simple with this Mexican chain. On a restricted diet it's easier to eat here because you can customize your food. First appearance, the location is super clean. Plenty of staff onboard to help you. They pulled the romaine lettuce from the selection. I commend them for doing the responsible thing. The gentleman in the white shirt was super friendly. Don't know if that's the shift supervisor or manager. I wish I got his name cause he's doing a great job. He made it exciting to order some food here. He welcomes his customers with a friendly smile and greeting. Since he didn't have lettuce, he didn't charge me for another topping. My food was spot on. All fresh ingredients and I always love that cheese and guacamole. They don't charge extra for gauc. Lastly, I was a little disturbed reading some of the reviews for this location. Some folks even using profanity to express how angry they were. Meanwhile they have one review and zero friends. How creditable can you be with stats like that? I always expect people to be fair on here. When you find one thing wrong with this place that doesn't mean you provide them with one star. Be fair and look at the overall picture. Used to go to Chipotle a lot but after they messed up my orders - both on their app and calling their Westfield location and then failed to refund my cc despite many emails/calls or offer an apology, respectively - I completely dumped them for Qdoba. Mistakes happen and I'm okay with that but not too hard to take care of it the right way afterward. Have ordered here dozens of times the last few years, using the app, and only once was there an issue with my order. And I was refunded promptly and without much fuss. Orders are always on time and usually earlier than the appointed times. They have whole wheat tortilla wraps too, unlike Chipotle. Will continue to order from them every month or so. read more

Qdoba is a nationally-franchised Mexican restaurant/fast food chain with hundreds of locations. The menu is comprised of a varied selection tacos, quesedillas, burritos, etc., which are assembled to order from prepared ingredients. Other than a now-defunct restaurant on East 86th St. in NYC, I have never had gourmet-quality Mexican cuisine in this part of the country. I don't think that term is even applicable to this type of food. However, this Qdoba location delivers fresh-tasting, generous portions of food, and is a good value for lunch or an inexpensive dinner. it is certainly much better than Tinga, which is located around the corner. read more

I drive all the way from Union and brave the Westfield parking just to get this stuff because the Qdoba in Union on Route 22 is a dump. I just had one of the best burritos ever so I had to come write a review. All of my experiences here have been during the day between 12-5pm and I eat out a lot so I know when a place is well run. First off the food is always FRESH and HOT which seems to be a problem for other Qdobas/Chipotles. Seriously the food is really, really good and well seasoned. The staff are very nice and always the same people, the one really friendly guy is always there who I think is the manager along with another lady. They make it on point and they are Latino too so they know how to season and make everything properly. Also it is crisp and clean. The food area is always immaculate. I highly recommend this location, some of the other bad reviews just seem nitpicky to me, at least from my experience. read more

Let me start by saying I have been to Qdoba many times and have never had a problem...in person. Tonight my fiancé and I decided to order it for delivery. You place your order online so they have to be reading your order directly from a screen or piece of paper. Either way, it's directly in front of them. Really no excuse for error. I ordered my burrito with chicken, rice, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and black beans. Easy enough right? I go to eat my burrito and in the first bite I taste just rice and chicken. Normally the first bite or so is like this because they pile the ingredients in the middle and fold. So I continue. I notice it just keeps going. No lettuce. No cheese, no sour cream, no guacamole. I received a burrito filled with chicken, rice and black beans. Now I get that people don't always REMEMBER an order. But when it's sent online it's literally put in writing. How can you possibly forget majority of the ingredients? The quality of the food that was actually present in the burrito was really good! They definitely just need to work on reading their online orders. read more

Catering Orders Beware! I placed a catering order for my sons birthday. The amount my card was charged was over $49 more than my receipt. When I called I was told the company they're now using for catering Monkey Media takes 20% interest on top of Qdoba's fee. This was not something I was made aware of prior to placing my order nor when I received and signed for my order. I don't know how you can sign a receipt and then be charged a different number. When I asked for this to be resolved I was told I needed to call the outsourced company. Poor customer service, and still no resolution from Qdoba. I will not be using them in the future. read more

Worst QDOBA I've ever been to walked in at 10 mind you they close at 10! Guy told me they didn't have anymore white rice after that 5 min later I saw him serving someone white rice . Do they even read the orders when you order online? My burrito came with only meat, rice, beans, and the fajita vegetables on it -- no queso sauce, guacamole, and sour cream. Tonight is the last time we go to QDOBA. My husband went to get food for the family at the Westfield store and there were a lot of issues with the order. He ordered two salads and that was even a problem on how to serve the meat and sides. He asked to have everything served on the cups to avoid getting a smushy salad. The biggest issue is that the service is terrible, they are always in a hurry even when there is no line. It seems that the rules change per shift including the attitudes. After 10 years they lost another customer. I even called the store to speak with the manager and no answer. Is like they are screaming for you to please take your business elsewhere. Ordered delivery through Grubhub. The taco salad had barely any salad in it - the bowl itself was not even half full. The salad that was there was so wilted and "cooked" that it didn't even crunch. This was my first time at Qdoba Mexican Grill in Westfield. The set up is pretty much the same as Chipotle, Moe's etc. U go in and place ur order at the counter. U decide if u want a burrito, a bowl, grilled quesadilla, 3 cheese nachos, taco bowl, tacos, kids-meal, chips n dip, or a breakfast burrito. If u choose a burrito the 1st thing u pick is what type of tortilla. flour , or whole wheat. Next, u have to decide the fillings. There are 2 kinds of rice, cilantro lime rice or brown rice. Then u choose black beans, or pinto beans. Then u pick whether u want grilled chicken, grilled steak, pulled pork, shredded beef, seasoned ground beef, or all veggie filling. The add ons are, 3 cheese queso, ancho chile BBQ , ranchera sauce. There is also pico de gallo ( mild) roasted chile corn ( mild), salsa verde, (medium) salsa roja- hot. Fiery habanero salsa ( extra ) mango salsa seasonal. Lettuce,shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole , fajita veggies, grilled veggies. The kids meal is a smaller version of any of the full menu items except it comes w/ milk or juice. They also serve what they call Craft 2...... 2 of ur favorite dishes on one plate. I chose flour tortilla, black beans, grilled steak, salsa verde , sour cream , cheese, guacamole all wrapped up. A diet coke to wash it down. The burrito was very juicy and tasty. It was wrapped perfectly and a nice size. Qdoba has seating inside and there is tables w/ umbrellas outside too. This place is located on Elm street in Westfield. There is very limited meter parking on the street, but u can go around the corner and park in the lot. After 6 pm there is no charge to park. Qdoba also does catering. I will definitely be back to try some other sauces and dish combinations. read more

I live in New Providence, about twenty minutes from Westfield. There's a chipotle in NP that I go to regularly but decided to go to qdoba because my mom had a BOGO entree on her rewards app. I've only ever been to the short hills mall qdoba but they close at 6 on sundays now so I decided it was worth it to go to the Westfield location. When I got there there was no line and someone immediately asked me what id like to order. I had to pull up my moms account and it was on a browser not an app so I thought it might be a problem. I simply showed the worker that I had a reward and didn't scan anything-it was so simple! We got chips and salsa too and when I said mild salsa she told me it was just the pico and maybe I'd like to try the medium salsa too. She gave me three salsa cups total and a HUGE bag of chips (probably double or triple the amount you get from chipotle). We ate outside and everything was so delicious and fresh. We got two sodas as well and she only charged me for one!! Overall great experience. The workers at Westfield qdoba are awesome read more

We come here often. It is always good, always satisfying and have not ever had a complaint. The food is cooked properly and the ingredients are fresh. The downside was that the fountain machine was broken on 11/30 and we were left to purchase a bottled beverage with really limited options. But this isn't a daily occurrence. Went to this location on Valentine's Day. The chain was having a buy one entree, get one entree if you kiss someone(or something). I belong to the rewards program and have a key chain fob for the rewards program. The man behind the counter was quite friendly. I asked about the buy one, get one deal. The man asked me if I have a rewards fob. I told him that I did. I was given the deal without even having to kiss anyone. I ordered 2 burritos, both with the grilled steak. I ate one of the burritos qdoba and I took the other one to go. The burrito that I ate at the place was hot and quite tasty. The next day, I ate the other burrito and it was nearly as tasty as the one that I ate in the restaurant when I heated the burrito in my microwave. read more

The customers are very average... I was cut off in line by a nice man in a soft black hat. I gave him a bit of attitude and he pushes back. Qdoba in Westfield is in the middle of the block. Parking in the area, in a word, stinks. The parking is either on street or you have to use a pay lot. Only rarely can you find a parking spot close. This particular franchise appears to be well patronized but I've never seen it packed with diners. The food is fresh and well prepared and generally pretty tasty. The staff are friendly and certainly well above the average for what you'd get in most fast food establishments. Not gormet food by any means but Qdoba provides a nice break from the average fast food fare that you get most places. read more
